03/06/2025: It is one of those places that if you try it you are willing to travel a few extra kilometers just to return. Already the way they welcome you makes you feel like family, all the waitresses are nice, attentive and kind. To sit in the room, a quiet and well-lit place, you pass in front of the window to order lunch and believe me, seeing displayed first what you then order makes all the difference in the world. Not only that, you can ask for any type of combination or pairing, no problem, they will satisfy you without a doubt. Fast service, low cost

18/07/2025: I walked in purely by chance. The welcome was warm, friendly, and courteous. I walked in thinking I'd grab a quick bite. As soon as I saw everything, I asked for a starter, a main course, a side dish, and a dessert. Then I thought, "I wonder if it'll be good?" I went to the "Prima Forno" table and thought, "I guessed right!" Delicious, with quality ingredients and expert cooking!!! For €20, you get a starter, a main course, a side dish, water, and dessert...it's worth a try! Best regards RR

16/06/2025: Excellent home style food. I had cannelloni and meat and broccoli Rabe. You can get wine and beer. Lots of seating in the courtyard. Ivan was very helpful.

17/07/2025: Really good food, the guys are machines, they never stop and they are really strong, I would just like to point out that perhaps the packages that are given for home delivery are not the best, they let the sauce come out a bit, and some tissues are appreciated (with improved packaging), however these are small details, the sandwich was excellent, hot, same thing for the fried foods, great

12/07/2025: Wide selection of sandwiches, hot dogs, focaccias, and vegan burgers. Located right on the waterfront, it's become a regular stop when I visit Tuscany. High-quality ingredients and very friendly staff. Highly recommended!

13/05/2025: NEVER AGAIN AND NEVER THEN!!! €35 for a cake delivered wrapped and put in a paper bag as if we were at the supermarket. Not even a cake container???? They were wasting their time as decoration: two strawberries and two little flowers, if there wasn't the writing that I had made, it was undefined. Let's not talk about the taste, dry sponge cake, not soaked well. Terrible taste, it didn't taste of anything and left only a tongue and a palate full of sugar. MAXIMUM DISAPPOINTED. I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN

14/04/2025: The best cornetti in all of Lucca. It is a bit out of town but definitely worth the short walk. They also have the characteristic italian hot chocolate which ist very thick. Just delicious!

04/07/2025: I have always come to this restaurant, it is a quiet and pleasant place yesterday we ate some really excellent fried food The pizza was good and also a well-cooked first course. The person who served us was really professional and efficient, the prices considering the area were very good.

20/06/2025: You eat well. You spend the right amount. They serve kind and helpful girls. When very crowded there could be small waiting problems, as often happens everywhere.

17/07/2025: First time at Carpe Diem for Karaoke night: everything was perfect. We tried both the food and the pizza (being Neapolitan with pizza I don't allow compromises) and I must say that it was really good both in terms of the leavening of the dough and the ingredients. My wife had the fish and it was EXCELLENT. Friendly and fast service. See you next Wednesday. Well done!

15/07/2025: There's no point in leaving you a "theme" for a review; you absolutely have to try it. I can only tell you that dining on the terrace, enjoying the sunset with your special someone and the excellent food and atmosphere, is a must. Go, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

17/07/2025: Ottima pizzeria Napoletana dove è possibile scegliere tra la pizza normale e la baby più piccola .. locale con posti fuori e dentro .. forno a legna .. servizio veloce .. eravamo in 2 abbiamo preso 3 birre 2 pizze un dolce e 2 amari .. tot. 40 euro accettano carta ..

17/06/2025: We ate here before the ferry crossing. I love these restaurants on the four-lane road away from the tourist crowds, where you get a very friendly welcome, delicious food at reasonable prices, and they gradually fill up with locals: Italy at its best. Highly recommended.
