03/11/2024: Excellent bar where you can find yourself having a delicious but healthy breakfast. The staff is very kind although, when there are many of you, it can take a little time for everyone to be served. The smoothies and their yogurts are recommended.

25/02/2025: After we made the mistake of trying to go out to eat at 9pm and then spent 1 1/2 hours looking for a parking space 😅, we needed a restaurant whose kitchen was still open at 10:30pm. That's why we chose this restaurant. The service was very friendly and the atmosphere was extremely inviting. A restaurant with charm and a beautiful view. We ordered a carpaccio (for 2) and as a secondi a mixed fish platter (for 2). Both were presented very attractively and looked delicious. The quality was top and the seasoning was spot on. However, two things weren't so great: 1. The carpaccio was cut way too thick. 2. There were 4 different types of seafood on the fish platter: 2 different fish fillets, shrimp and squid. Unfortunately, one of the fish fillets and the squid were cooked far too long and were therefore category shoe soles. However, the other half of the plate was perfectly cooked and very tasty! However, the competent service employee immediately noticed that the fish was not cooked well and gave us a €10 discount (!!) on his own initiative! That's what I call good service! All in all we were satisfied. Thank you. 😊

If you can't give up ice cream then, this is the right place even in winter or on melancholy days.. ..with the inevitable classic flavours, those without milk and flavors of the day.. ..an essential showcase that doesn't leave you dissatisfied .. ..it is a good product for the structure..the creaminess..the coldness..the natural flavor which denotes the use of high quality ingredients without skimping.. ..and served on wafer cones that are always crunchy or on very crumbly wafers with no intrusive aromas.. ..the quantities are generous at fair prices…….. ..but above all there is Leone who makes all this possible, always looking for the best and improvement... Thank you!

20/01/2025: Recommended experience, the place has an incredible view. You don't go "just" for the barbecue but to experience a different evening. Not to be missed at sunset. The grill could be a little more meaty. But for Elba prices the menu formula they offer is very valid.

04/03/2025: First time for this pizzeria, booking on the return journey from Florence for 7.30pm (opening time). The place was obviously empty at that time so very fast but still courteous service, while waiting for the pizzas ordered, a very welcome taste of hot focaccia. Wide choice of pizzas (classic and special) complemented by focaccias, salads and platters. The pizzas ordered were an excellent choice as was the dessert: apple pie with cream; a real spectacle for the palate. Average prices, a place to include in our list for when we are in the Pontedera area

18/02/2025: We returned some time after the place changed management. In all honesty, he has a long way to go to reach his commendable predecessor but this gentleman already wins in courtesy and availability! The cuisine is straightforward and without frills. Taste and authenticity of the dishes guaranteed. Excellent Frantoiana soup. The rostinciana, although only one piece but full-bodied, was well worth it (it would have been better to specify that it was not grilled but baked). There is still work to be done on the desserts and wines. Few labels and without criteria. We are waiting for him to propose steaks and mushrooms, the strong dish of the two Paolis. The road is long but it is well taken. He doesn't have to imitate but if he changes his approach and reduces the dishes and quantities... he has little hope. Anyway good.

21/02/2025: I won't set foot in there again... a shameful thing, I had to pay an already established amount, he made me pay 40 euros more for unpressed pizza, among other things I had brought 30 people to him for dinner without words, shameful and without dignity.
