05/01/2025: We are not vegans, but today we wanted to try this type of cuisine. We trusted the excellent reviews and we weren't wrong. The Moon offers cuisine with dishes that are distant from our way of understanding food, but it didn't make us regret it at all. Tasty dishes, prepared with skill and with quality natural products, served with all the information possible. And on the products used, and on the way to consume them with much appreciated goodies provided by Andrea. Excellent, friendly and competent service always ready to satisfy any need. You can have lunch/dinner both inside and outside. The interior is made up of a period room furnished with simplicity but taste. It's a shame that some humidity infiltrations have, in several places, ruined the plaster, the reason for the 4 stars under the environment heading. Excellent desserts and an excellent alternative to traditional cuisine. I recommend it

04/09/2024: We passed by and checked the 4.5 stars review so decided to have lunch there. Basically they encourage every table to order a focaccia which is as big as half a pizza no matter what you order. We had two pasta. The seafood one was with all tiny frozen squids and shrimps. The syracusana pasta contained anchovies but were in reality huge inedible bones (see in photo) At the end they charge you €2 per person for coperto which is common in Italy but at least you are served with bread. Here nothing but still 2 euros each. Do avoid!

04/09/2024: Scuola Alimentare is a lovely restaurant in the heart of Ortigia. The food is freshly prepared, the ingredients are high quality and delicious. We tried the tuna tartare, as well as the stuffed ravioli with pistachio pesto and squid ink pasta. Finally, we decided on the tiramisù and two espressos. All dishes tasted excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Absolutely recommended!

28/12/2024: Ok food. However, a very big minus - we asked for a beer for €3.50 and they tried to give us €7, saying it was priced at €3.50. Overall, I don't recommend it

27/12/2024: Given that it is really, really DIFFICULT to eat badly in Palazzolo, here we found - a stone's throw from the center - a masterpiece of a restaurant. You enter and immediately notice the meat counter (a good sign). Simple and clear menu, with the possibility of alternating 6 types of pasta with 7-8 different condiments. We had ricotta ravioli with pork sauce and rigatoni alla norma. In terms of meat dishes, obviously the choice was very wide. We opted for meatballs and slice of horse. The desserts are excellent (tiramisu and ricotta), and the house red is full-bodied. Coffee offered. I count? Less than 30 each, including fries for the starter. What can I say? We will return and recommend!

25/12/2024: We came during our drive across Sicily on Chrixmas. Didn’t expect anything to open but this shop is! The inside was fully booked but we were offered the outside seating. The service was top notch. We felt very well taken care of.

30/12/2024: Ho scelto questo ristorante per un pranzo in occasione di un soggiorno a Noto, per le ottime recensioni lette. Le recensioni sono state confermate. Ha pochi tavoli tutti all’aperto quindi consiglio di prenotare ed è aperto solo in estate fino ad autunno inoltrato. Tornando al pranzo tutto ottimo, abbiamo preso due primi io e mio marito da leccarsi i baffi. Se torno a Noto vado a pranzare o cenare dalla signora Ada, perfetta padrona di casa

27/11/2024: Wir waren in der Trattoria sehr gut essen. Können wir absolut empfehlen. Beim Servieren passierte der Kellnerin ein Missgeschick und es ich hatte Olivenölfelcken auf meiner Lederjacke. Ich sprach mit der Wirtin (sehr sympathische Frau), die sich sofort verantwortlich erklärte. Zurück in München brachte ich die Lederjacke in die Spezialreinigung. Die Rechnung schickte ich der Wirtin, die diese sofort bezahlte. Absolut vorbildlich. Das hätten sehr viele Restaurant-Besitzer nicht gemacht. Eine sehr schöne Erfahrung.
