04/04/2024: Unfortunately a big disappointment in terms of taste. It is presented as traditional cuisine but the taste is missing from all the dishes we tried (arancini with squid & wild boar, linguini with squid, chicken with fries). The service is nice. So many good reviews are still misleading.

15/03/2024: Chose this restaurant because of the many good reviews. Unfortunately we had lesser experiences. Many dishes were sold out. Can happen so we chose other things that seemed to be tasty. Unfortunately, the starters were really small in size. We took 3 starters. Mini burger that is gone after 1 bite, bread with pulled pork very basic and a mini burger with scampi that is gone after 1 bite. Quite expensive for what you get. Main course I had octopus, it was cooked ok but a small portion and the cheese sauce was dominant. My partner had aubergines. Portion too small, half warm and also with cheese sauce. We left hungry and went elsewhere to eat something. My least dining experience in Sicily. Lots of wine in stock, perhaps good for just drinking.

23/03/2024: As every time, an excellent experience! Experimental dishes, tasty and cared for with extreme attention to every detail, top-quality ingredients, homemade bread, first-choice cold-pressed oil and impeccable service, all accompanied by a selection of excellent natural wines. We had the seafood burrata as a starter (surprising, very fresh and really well done) and the focaccia with swordfish, as first courses the tagliolino with sea urchins (superb) and the sabbinirica one with glasswort and prawns (structured and exciting in the discovery of flavors) and for dessert the pistachio brittle. Accompanying it are glasses of macerated wine from the hills of the Piacenza area. We will definitely be back - and I can't wait already! -

29/03/2024: The products are excellent. It is now a historic place which, in terms of flavor and goodness, never disappoints. The problem is the shop is too small and in moments of confusion you can't understand anything. There are always those who try to move on. This can be solved with numbers. It would be a small investment that would help customers not get nervous.

28/02/2024: Entrance from a small and narrow street in front of the old Sports Field. The queue of customers waiting patiently outside certifies the quality of the products.

21/08/2023: Non sta sulla strada principale, quindi ci dovete andare appositamente. Fatelo!!! Cioccolata super e prezzi modici. Imperdibili, secondo me, quelle al peperoncino, alla menta, al rhum.

13/03/2024: Bruno the owner is really hospitable, the atmosphere is very nice, and the cannoli is just the way I like it, with the fragrant wafer and not "tooth-breaking" as unfortunately you often find around! I can't wait to go back to try the granitas...

18/02/2024: Excellent light Sunday lunch, service was a bit slow but they were very busy and anyway we had plenty of time! Considering this seemed to be the only place open at the time - Sunday in Winter - we were delighted with the various cakes/pizzas we bought, the coffees and teas we ordered and the comparison with prices/quality in our native London!

06/10/2023: Thanks to the Modica Beach resort and all it's staff for their support in organising our beach wedding. It was a fabulous day and we loved every moment. We especially want to thank the directors, the chefs, the maître d', the bartender and everyone else involved behind the scenes. We could not have had such a special day without them and can't wait to see them all again soon.

10/03/2024: Table booked for 9.30pm, pizzas arrive at 11.00pm...everyone is super nice but in the end lots of smoke and not much roast. Prices above average.
