10/06/2025: One of the few pizzerias, perhaps the only one in Modica that makes vegan pizzas (note the plural) and for this alone a thousand stars! All the pizzas are good. Excellent cooking, but the desserts are thrilling, they are so exquisite! A must if you want to know another Modica, the more rural one

06/07/2025: The food was good, prices ok. The salad was very bitter and we found hair in it. The steak was better price/taste than in most places we went to.

05/07/2025: We ordered 8 things and for 2 of them we had to ask two more times. Plus the fries were too salty, the chicken was dry and there was almost no meat in the ragu.

05/07/2025: Absolutely fantastic spot! Pollo d’Oro is an absolute gem — traditional, no-frills, and brimming with local charm. I popped in for a bite and was immediately greeted by the warm, welcoming owner and a group of friendly regulars who not only engaged in perfect English but were keen to offer food recommendations. While waiting for my chicken (which was well worth the wait), I enjoyed a cold beer that hit the spot perfectly — crisp, refreshing, and exactly what was needed after a day in the sun. But the real surprise was the arancino — rich, flavourful, and possibly the best I’ve ever had. It set the tone for what was to come. When the chicken arrived, it was sensational. Perfectly cooked, seasoned to perfection, and served without any of the fuss or inflated prices you find in tourist-heavy spots. Everything about Pollo d’Oro feels authentic — the food, the people, the atmosphere. A brilliant place to eat well, drink happily, and feel like you’ve stepped into a slice of real Sicily. I’ll be back without a doubt.

16/05/2025: It is a historic bar in the center of Ispica (RG). I had already tasted the panettone and the Easter colomba and finally I had the pleasure of visiting this bar and eating an ice cream in excellent company. Next time I would like to try the ricotta cannolo that my family suggested to me 🌺😄

22/12/2024: Comfortable and characteristic place, ideal for gathering with friends, between board games and good music, as in my case. I could not try the cuisine, whose menu was surprisingly very varied and the cocktails were good.

29/05/2025: Nice place to sit in the square but there are way better granita in Sicily. I understand the nice reviewers because of its location. In the beginning they did not treat us very kindly but later when we asked to fill the water it was better. Still we can’t give it a better review because of the quality of the stuff. Perhaps for a glass of wine it would have been better but I would not go back for what we had

22/06/2025: We ate here twice on successive nights - everything about this Restaurant is superb. The food is of a very high quality with generous portions and reasonable prices. More importantly, the service is outstanding with the staff working as a team to ensure a really pleasurable dining experience.

14/06/2025: Unacceptable. For a pizza round we waited over two hours. After the first pizza arrived we waited another 20 minutes. The pizza dough is not that great. Unacceptable. And for this they ask a price that makes no sense. 24 euros for all this is unacceptable.

22/04/2025: Pizza buonissima, prodotti di ottima qualità e impasto leggero e particolare. Gli abbinamenti erano molto belli e hanno aggiunto un tocco di originalità. Il locale è accogliente, con un arredamento che unisce il retró e il moderno in modo unico. Il servizio è stato impeccabile: veloce, professionale e con un cameriere sempre sorridente e attento, che è riuscito a coccolarci senza essere invadente. Consigliatissimo!

14/05/2025: There are no services here. They ruined pizza and their shuttle service only takes cash. Cannot use a card. This place is pretty but isolated. Better being all of your own stuff or just move on
