19/06/2026: The best focaccia in Ragusa, made with many layers. The prices are high.
13/06/2026: A historic Ragusa bakery, with truly kind and attentive staff. Unfortunately, as often happens, perhaps they've gotten a big head. Two portions of tomato and cheese focaccia (regularly weighed, but still two portions, for the record) that normally cost €3.50 per portion, or €7.00, here I was charged a whopping €17.00.
To be fair, I'll reiterate that the product is excellent, but it should be noted that it sells for well over double that of other bakeries, and these days, that's something to consider. Today, I needed two portions, but if you're serving 8-10 people, you'd have to shell out €100 (at almost €9.00 each). Equally good alternatives can be found, all in the city center, without having to break the bank for food that, after all, originated in poor times when people couldn't afford to buy meat every day.

19/10/2025: Dinner at this elegant restaurant was a wonderful experience. The food was excellent, and the care and attention to food intolerances, in my case, celiac disease, was exceptional. Thank you again for pampering me that evening at dinner and the next day at breakfast in the café next door. If I ever return to Ragusa, it would be a pleasure to return to Circolo D'Italia.

I had pasta for lunch, and the anchovy spaghetti and sea urchin cream paccheri were absolutely delicious.
The anchovy spaghetti was perfectly balanced, and the sea urchin cream paccheri was delicious.
If you like creamy pasta, try this.
The atmosphere is nice and clean, and they even provide handkerchiefs in the bathroom.
I definitely recommend trying this if you're visiting Ragusa.
Just make sure to check the bill carefully when you pay!
There were two waters, and the dessert was from a different menu.
Enough for two Koreans.

27/06/2026: We arrived, and unfortunately, shortly after, a family with children arrived who no one was managing. We couldn't hear ourselves speak. The children were screaming and running everywhere. For an evening with friends, it was a complete disaster. We left; it was unbearable.
22/06/2026: I visited this restaurant recently and was very pleased. The setting is elegant and welcoming, with a pleasant yet slightly rustic atmosphere, making the experience enjoyable and relaxing. The staff is friendly and helpful, attentive but never intrusive.
The menu offers a good variety of dishes, including the excellent pizzas, a well-balanced mix of tradition and creativity. My meal was beautifully plated and prepared with quality ingredients. The flavors were authentic and harmonious. The wait times were also more than reasonable.
The prices are in line with the quality, with no surprises. Ultimately, it's a place I'd happily return to and recommend to anyone looking for a well-prepared meal in a pleasant setting.

02/04/2026: An informal diner with friendly service, good food and generous portions. Very strategic location near the Church of Santa Maria la Nova where the Gioia (Risen Christ) exits during the exciting Easter celebration (you need to book well in advance though)
25/03/2026: The food is simply exceptional, and the service is excellent. The staff's knowledge of the dishes and their wine pairings is second to none. The place is welcoming, with a truly relaxed atmosphere. A must if you're in Scicli! We'll definitely be back.

29/06/2026: Excellent 4-star superior hotel, with very few details to improve:
Super modern facility and excellent cleanliness. We spent a week's vacation and were impressed by the spacious rooms, the truly exceptional restaurant, and the extraordinary helpfulness of the entire staff. We had some health issues during our stay, and all the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and extremely helpful.
Strengths: Service and friendliness of the staff, cuisine, modernity, and cleanliness.
What could be improved: The hotel is divided into two blocks (the restaurant is separate from the rooms). There are only a few showers on the beach, and there's no bathroom or changing cabin (you have to go up to the restaurant terrace). Furthermore, the hotel is somewhat isolated: reaching the village on foot is almost impossible; the only quick option is to go via the beach.
Highly recommended, we really had a great time!
