17/11/2024: This is the best gelato in Sicily and possibly all of Italy. There chocolate orange was super smooth, packed with flavour and not overly sweet, it’s the best chocolate orange I have had anywhere in the world. The gelato here is so good I went back and kept getting 3 scoop tubs until I had tried out their full range. Malaga was also like no other Malaga gelato Iv had and the raising in it were magical, and I’m not a Malaga or raising fan. Everything from this place is different to anything you have tasted before with lots of very unique combinations pumpkin with a crumble. If your in Sicily and a gelato / ice cream lover this is somewhere you HAVE to visit even if it’s just for the gelato. They staff are super nice and friendly also speaking English . The establishment has toilets and is a cosy place with out door and indoor seating

01/01/2025: We went for lunch and there were two of us. Let me start by saying that I don't understand how it is possible that the average is only 4.5 stars, it deserves much more. I'll start from the service by saying that the waitress was super kind, smiling and professional. Two starters and two first courses with incredibly good flavours, aromas and taste. We also took a dessert which we shared and there too nothing to say. Clean and well-kept environment, selection of excellent quality Sicilian wines. From our point of view we paid the right price for the quality and portions, we left full and satisfied! I hope to return for the next holidays, I recommend it.

31/12/2024: Michelin star level restaurant, if you like fish cooked and raw that's the place. Great choice of wine from our sommelier. Simply great. Price super honest.

29/09/2024: Servizio pessimo. Prenotiamo il giorno prima per le ore 21 del giorno dopo, una volta arrivati troviamo il nostro tavolo occupato e abbiamo dovuto aspettare mezz'ora prima di poterci sedere. Una volta seduti e pronti per ordinare arriva il cameriere riferendoci che possiamo solo ordinare da bere per il momento (non dandoci spiegazioni al riguardo) e, nonostante la nostra preferenza nel voler prendere delle bottiglie di acqua piccole, ci ha obbligati a prendere quelle grandi esclamando "ceh raga non è per male..." Stesso cameriere che insieme ad un collega hanno portato i panini al tavolo dimenticandosi spesso quale panino fosse di chi e quale fosse il nome del panino portato al tavolo tutto condito da un bel "viriemu nti chistu chi cosa c'è i rintra". L'unico a modo nel servizio è stato il proprietario che ahimè oltre a scrivere le ordinazioni per ogni tavolo presente si occupa anche della cassa e di rispondere alle telefonate lasciando quindi spesso la gente in attesa sia per pagare che per ordinare.

17/11/2024: Unfortunately I have to express my disappointment with the evening. I often frequent this place, but this time the experience was terrible. I ordered a Lunatica Battuta pizza, specifically asking to replace the artichokes with fried aubergines. I received a pizza with artichokes, as large as the normal ones (when it should be "beaten") and slightly burnt. I pointed out the mistake to the waitress, who said they would make it again. After about ten minutes I received a new pizza... still burnt! When I pointed out to the waiter that it was not acceptable, his response was that they made it in a hurry and that I should have simply removed the artichokes from the first one. An unacceptable and unprofessional attitude. In the end I only ate a little of that pizza and left it, but when it came time to pay the bill, no one did anything to apologize or make up for it. A big disappointment, especially for a place I often went to. I will definitely not return again, and will not recommend it to others.

19/07/2024: Locale ampio luminoso e moderno. Scaffali pieni di prodotti dolci e salati. Abbiamo assaggiato alcune specialità dolciarie. Ottimo il cioccolato fondente modicano.

13/07/2024: Dopo aver girato Modica a piedi in lungo, in largo e... in alto, tornando a prendere la macchina, a pomeriggio inoltrato siamo entrati quasi per caso alla Casa Don Puglisi - La Bottega, per bere ancora qualcosina prima di ripartire per Ortigia. Ma che bella sorpresa è stata! Bar, proposte dolci e salate per tutti i gusti, negozio con golosità del luogo, e anche una fornita libreria. Inoltre, giovani, meno giovani, anziani, riuniti tutti lì a leggere, bere e mangiare. E alla fine, non abbiamo bevuto un caffè veloce, ma ci siamo intrattenuti per una bella oretta, curiosando qua e là e facendo pure qualche acquisto. Fra l'altro, qui l'acqua da bere è gratis, perché l'acqua è un bene comune che va condiviso, anche con il cuore, e non deve essere un bene oggetto di sfruttamento. Con la creazione di questa casa non solo si è reso omaggio alla memoria di Don Puglisi, ma si è dato vita a un punto di aggregazione davvero notevole. Bravi!

04/01/2025: Nel cuore di Ibla la pasticceria Iudice è un vero laboratorio di squisitezze. Abbiamo assaggiato i cannoli alla crema di ricotta e crema pasticcera, entrambe delicate profumate, leggere. La particolarità la cialda preparata da loro, croccante e friabile delizie del palato.

24/12/2024: Wonderful place of cosiness and friendliness. Super fine pizza and entrecote. Unfortunately no fresh Zuppa di Cozze, but kindly pointed out => better than frozen ones :) The fried fish as a substitute were also great. I find the wines all from Sicily brilliant. And the grappa, simply great.

22/12/2024: Comfortable and characteristic place, ideal for gathering with friends, playing board games and good music, as in my case. I was not able to try the cuisine, whose menu was surprisingly very varied and the cocktails were good.
