16/07/2026: Incredible food and extraordinary kindness!
We didn't get the chance to eat at the restaurant because, due to a technical issue, Pasquale (I hope I'm spelling his name correctly!) couldn't open that day. But instead of sending us away, he prepared an incredible vegan takeaway dinner for us and refused to let us pay.
The food was absolutely outstanding. There was an amazing variety of dishes, all delicious, creative, and made with so much care.
What made this experience truly unforgettable, though, was Pasquale himself. His generosity, kindness, and genuine hospitality made our trip to Sicily so much more special. Some places stay with you because of the food; others because of the people. Singula gave us both.
We can't recommend this place highly enough. Amazing food, a special atmosphere, and an owner who is simply an extraordinary human being. Thank you so, so much. We can't wait to come back!

16/07/2026: My wife and I were melting in the midday sun in Modica and Egopizza came to our rescue with air conditioning and snow delicious lunch. My spaghetti carbonara lacked true guanciale but still tasted good abd my wife wolfed down her buffalo DOC pizza. Our waiter also kindly filled our double-walled flash with ice and water for our journey home in the car
16/07/2026: The place is hidden away from the main street, which might mean fewer guests, but it's definitely worth stopping by because the food is delicious and the staff is lovely and helpful. We don't eat meat, so we always have fewer dishes to choose from - the wonderful chef agreed to make a carbonara without bacon (even though this might have seemed like an absurd request in a country of pasta experts).
The dishes were served very quickly, and both the pasta and the pizza were excellent. Well-seasoned, made with heart.
I honestly don't understand why there was no one else besides us - maybe it's the not-so-inviting outdoor seating area, or the not-very-Italian-sounding name? I'm not sure, but the food is delicious and worth trying, especially since it's hard to find good pasta in Modica.

The appetizer and dessert are also truly amazing, worthy of the rest. The location is intimate and welcoming, perfect for a pleasant evening.

27/06/2026: We arrived, and unfortunately, shortly after, a family with children arrived who no one was managing. We couldn't hear ourselves speak. The children were screaming and running everywhere. For an evening with friends, it was a complete disaster. We left; it was unbearable.
22/06/2026: I visited this restaurant recently and was very pleased. The setting is elegant and welcoming, with a pleasant yet slightly rustic atmosphere, making the experience enjoyable and relaxing. The staff is friendly and helpful, attentive but never intrusive.
The menu offers a good variety of dishes, including the excellent pizzas, a well-balanced mix of tradition and creativity. My meal was beautifully plated and prepared with quality ingredients. The flavors were authentic and harmonious. The wait times were also more than reasonable.
The prices are in line with the quality, with no surprises. Ultimately, it's a place I'd happily return to and recommend to anyone looking for a well-prepared meal in a pleasant setting.

29/06/2026: Excellent 4-star superior hotel, with very few details to improve:
Super modern facility and excellent cleanliness. We spent a week's vacation and were impressed by the spacious rooms, the truly exceptional restaurant, and the extraordinary helpfulness of the entire staff. We had some health issues during our stay, and all the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and extremely helpful.
Strengths: Service and friendliness of the staff, cuisine, modernity, and cleanliness.
What could be improved: The hotel is divided into two blocks (the restaurant is separate from the rooms). There are only a few showers on the beach, and there's no bathroom or changing cabin (you have to go up to the restaurant terrace). Furthermore, the hotel is somewhat isolated: reaching the village on foot is almost impossible; the only quick option is to go via the beach.
Highly recommended, we really had a great time!

03/05/2026: A surefire success in terms of efficiency and generous servings. We celebrated a First Communion there, and at the same time, the staff was also happily managing two other banquets and the usual Saturday night pizza and dance hall. The food wasn't overly elaborate, but encores were guaranteed. A feast.
30/03/2026: The pizzas are delicious. Both the dough and the toppings are incredibly fresh. Excellent service. Very friendly and helpful staff. Fast service. Excellent products, even for the restaurant. Truly a top-quality dining experience. I highly recommend lunch or dinner at this restaurant.

02/03/2026: Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience for me.
Grilled vegetables (4 slices of eggplant and half a zucchini with a sad tomato in the center) €12, a rip-off. The pizza was served in broth because it was full of water in the center, perhaps the frozen spinach hadn't been squeezed out properly. I don't recommend it.
P.S. How can staff or owners be allowed to play cards in the dining room during service? Absurd.
25/01/2026: We were so happy to find a restaurant that was not only open on a Sunday in January, but also good! The pizzas were delicious. The kind woman serving our table was very accommodating of our 8 month old. Although we speak little Italian, it was refreshing to visit a restaurant in which no one speaks English. The experience was more authentic.

25/07/2025: Here, they masterfully combine a relaxed and informal atmosphere with excellent cuisine: innovative and exquisite dishes (sardines sandwiches or seafood carpaccio, pasta with swordfish and mint pesto, etc.) alongside truly extraordinary interpretations of Sicilian classics like panelle or caponata.
The location, directly on the sea, is fantastic, and the team is always available, friendly, and attentive.
A firm fixture on our Sicilian holidays.
