An informal diner with friendly service, good food and generous portions. Very strategic location near the Church of Santa Maria la Nova where the Gioia (Risen Christ) exits during the exciting Easter celebration (you need to book well in advance though)

The food is simply exceptional, and the service is excellent. The staff's knowledge of the dishes and their wine pairings is second to none. The place is welcoming, with a truly relaxed atmosphere. A must if you're in Scicli! We'll definitely be back.

I'm not from Scicli, but I come here as often as I can: it makes me feel like I'm a local.
It never disappoints.
I don't have any photos to attach, but I'd describe it as "familiar."

We ate here on a Saturday night in January when many places were closed or had limited menus. That was not the case here. In fact, in addition to the regular menu there were several special dishes available.
Our group got the wild boar ragu and the grilled sausage off the regular menu. From the specials, we ordered the lamb ragu and fish & chips - it was swordfish!! The entrees were all wonderful with the fish & chips being exceptional. One of our group stated the chips/fries may have been the best he has ever had.
Additionally, the man who took care of our table was incredibly nice. We had excellent service.

Recommended by our B&B, we weren't disappointed: good service, excellent food, and a lovely wine cellar. A top-notch place with a cave-like atmosphere thanks to its stone vaults.

There is a wine tasting festival here just before Christmas every year. Buy a pass and taste in the neighborhood.

A positive but forgettable experience. Numerous and delicious appetizers. Disappointing first courses, pasta not at all well-mixed... the meat was decent. A little more effort would be enough, but I wouldn't give it less than a 4; the foundation is good.
