The title for the Sicilians is already a whole program.
The menu, which is a bit like those board games that promise to be exciting, but in the end are resolved with a family game of cards: very short but in such a way that you don't understand if you want to complain or laugh even at the swimsuit test portions. Oh, I didn't mention the flavor! But I haven't forgotten it, I just haven't heard it!
However, a round of applause must be given to the wine. Yes, that was good!
In conclusion, "Ummara" is the kind of place that doesn't do "neither ummura nor scuru", you only pay a lot and for "4minchiate".
03/11/2024: The place is nice, and the location is suggestive. The service was kind and attentive. However, the food was below expectations and the bill was high. Good wine, too bad the wine list was not available (updating).

22/08/2024: A mani basse il posto più buono dove prendere da mangiare in sicilia. La qualità dei prodotti fa la differenza. A partire dal pane. Arancini al RAGÙ sono spaziali. La lasagna stratosferica. Ma qualsiasi cosa tu prenda da tinghino è una bontà sicura.
30/07/2024: Che dire, a Scoglitti, Tinghino è un punto fermo per il pane, pizze, arancine e tavola calda in genere. Anche i dolci prodotti da loro sono di tutto rispetto.
Per le giornate al mare, i nostri pranzi in spiaggia sono quasi sempre allietati dalle loro specialità gastronomiche quali arancine, focacce e piatti pronti.
Prezzi nella media.
Unico neo/consiglio che mi sento di dare ai titolari per il punto vendita di Scoglitti è quello di far rispettare il turno ai clienti, magari con il ritiro di un tagliando numerato, perché purtroppo qui vige la maleducazione e la prevaricazione fra la clientela.

09/11/2024: Siamo andati parecchi volte in estate e gelato non era male ma costoso . Anche la classica granita di limone fa pagare 4€! Però in autunno la situazione con qualità è scesa drasticamente! Gelato e granita non fresche , brioches deformati e riscaldate .. Fuori di stagione sconsiglio assolutamente!
25/09/2024: Unfortunately a negative review. Had two cappuccini at 9:15 am. Mediocre quality. The lady serving was unfriendly. At checkout I was charged far too high an amount, apparently on the assumption that I am a tourist who does not know Italy and Sicily. I have been visiting Marina di Modica regularly since 2012, but I will not return to this place.

26/06/2024: Arriviamo io e la mia compagna in dolce attesa alle 12:50. Solo 2 tavoli erano già seduti. Cerchiamo di ordinare qualcosa dalla lavagna, ma il proprietario non era a conoscenza della disponibilità o no, sia per il cibo che per i drink, ma poco importa. Ordiniamo 1 panino un insalata e una porzione di patatine fritte alle 13. Eravamo il primo tavolo da servire, nel frattempo entrano altri 4/5 tavoli che puntualmente vengono serviti prima di noi, a caso senza senso e nel frattempo a noi non sono riusciti neanche a portare la porzione di patatine per la ragazza in attesa. Decidiamo così di alzarci e andare alle 13:45 senza cibo. Da non ripetere, anzi pubblicizzeremo al massimo questa nostra esperienza.
20/05/2024: Abbiamo pranzato domenica al Makako ‘urbano’.. siamo arrivati tardi ma non ci hanno fatto nessun problema.. due ottimi primi, ottime quantità e sapori sfiziosi.. ragazzinin sala gentilissimi, bell’ambiente, consigliatissimo!!

04/12/2024: Good evening, I went with my family to eat. Place without table service. Without bathroom to wash your hands, without placemats or anything at the table... Piadine with cooked rocket raw potatoes frozen cold cuts not fresh. We were sick for two terrible days, next time I'll run away....... The positive thing. The warmth of family and love.
