Poor service where the waiter left the plate in a grumpy manner. Management changes but the quality of the product does not change. NOT RECOMMENDED.

26/03/2025: I'm sorry, but unfortunately after today's experience I have to change my previous assessment. Although in the middle of breakfast time when ordering the lack of assortment was evident. However, the members of the group chose croissants with different fillings. Said croissants were served at the table all together indiscriminately so much so that not even the service assistant was able to identify with certainty the type of filling. Mediocre quality, you can find better in the motorway service stations where it is known that the products are defrosted. Not to be repeated at the moment.

06/03/2025: Nightmare The purpose of the trip to Ramacca is the written test for a competition. I find this hotel as the only solution for staying overnight in the town. Having arrived at the facility, loaded with luggage and visibly tired, I ask if it is possible to pay at checkout to go straight to the room. "Oh no, now".... I already understand that the hotel's philosophy is care and availability towards the customer. Once I open the bedroom door, I am overwhelmed by the cold: the walls and ceiling of both the bathroom and the bedroom are full of damp stains and mould. Furthermore, the room is enriched by details such as holey curtains and old furniture (I mean broken, to be thrown away). I surrender to the reality of the facts and decide to lie down on the bed, heartbroken by the uncomfortable living room, but.... Incredibly hard mattress. Let's say that sleeping on the bed or on the floor would make little difference; impossible to rest on your stomach because the ribs are affected. Some features of the bathroom: apart from scattered stains in the tiles, the activity proposed by the structure is nice: avoid the falling plaster! I'll explain: when you take a shower, certainly due to the water vapour, pieces of plaster come off and fall towards the floor, almost simulating a snowfall to remind you of the proximity to Etna. Excellent find by the hotel. It's a shame that it fell on my freshly cleaned hair, still wet, and that it also fell on the bathroom table, this time a nice large piece, I want to point out. Another peculiarity of the bathroom: it emits noises, strange whistles, I don't know if it's from the water heater or the toilet tank. The fact is that last night, twice, I woke up terrified by these mysterious whistles. I will have slept three hours if all goes well, but the next day I would only have to face the reason why I was in that dilapidated structure: an important competition. The structure has a restaurant/pizzeria; I had a pizza without praise or infamy, but the service in the room was kind and helpful. The ingredients of many pizzas are funny: among the toppings, you will often find peas, eggs, thin slices. I forgot: although there is a kitchen, breakfast service is not provided. For a three star hotel I expected breakfast included; Furthermore, it is good practice for hoteliers, in the absence of the service, to make arrangements with other structures such as bars or pastry shops. But, I remember how at the beginning of the review, the availability and care towards the customer is lacking. So sleepless and fasting, I go to try my competition, hoping to soon forget this paradoxical experience. I advise everyone, if they are forced to go to Ramacca, to arm themselves with a technical tent and a warm sleeping bag, because the surrounding area is full of green areas and it would certainly be a more convenient and comfortable solution.

16/08/2024: Piccolo ristorante di nicchia ubicato nella piazza più bella di Catania, quella del Duomo. Qui non puoi avere fretta, devi assaporare ogni piatto con il giusto intervallo di tempo, per comprendere la particolare tecnica del sapiente chef Guglielmino. Il crudo di pesce è uno dei migliori che abbia mai mangiato, sia per la qualità del pescato e, soprattutto, per il gusto degli accoppiamenti con i vari coulis di frutta. Lo spaghetto ai ricci e bottarga abbondante e meraviglioso. Per non parlare della Bouillabaisse Gulien, una zuppa di pesce e crostacei allo zafferano con crostini di pane al burro, preparata con dovizia di particolari che devi assolutamente terminare inzuppando il pane fino all’ultima goccia di brodo.

09/03/2025: I understand that it's Saturday night, women's holidays etc... but asking for a hamburger with crispy chicken and saying it's not available, we ask for a pinsa... it results in dough without salt, soggy and chewy... nauseating and rubbery mozzarella... the quality has gone beyond this place! I strongly advise against anyone dining here! Total disappointment! Precisely on these evenings you can see the quality and professionalism of the restaurateur, but I think this too has gone beyond! Now that I remember... He participated in a TV program (4 restaurants), and even there he was guilty of presumption and believed he was serving high quality and his opponents had said that it wasn't exactly as he said... I thought it would improve with time... but instead... It's a shame that I wrote the review while I was at the restaurant and it wasn't 11pm when I ordered.. you made me choose to stand outside the restaurant and wait an hour.. and it was 9.45pm.. I certainly know how to recognize good food well.. if it had been a high quality mozzarella fior di latte it wouldn't have bothered me at all.. knowing that on Saturday evening we could expect more diners than usual on Saturday evening.. I take care to supply as much food as possible to avoid leaving the customer dissatisfied.. talking to the dining room staff who perhaps would have just nodded didn't seem appropriate to me.. maybe next time I will enter the kitchens like Alessandro Borghese to check that everything is OK! I understand that during the carnival there is a greater turnout but it is still absurd to make customers feel chased away. Speaking of bills, prices very high compared to those shown on the menu we found online, could the QR code of the latter have been deactivated during the carnival specifically to cheat people? A watered-down and bitter cocktail in quantities suitable only for rinsing your mouth, for 8 euros... as if we were at the Duomo of Milan! Terrible quality-quantity-price ratio. Last stunt: although only 5 of the 7 people seated had eaten, until one of my two friends complained about it at the cash register, two extra place settings were inserted, shameful. I made a terrible impression on some friends who came from abroad, and I certainly won't come back either.

01/03/2025: For my daughter's first birthday I got the diner and birthday cake from Laviko. Huge choice of hot food, every piece delicious, and very punctual and excellent delivery service. A special applause for the cake, even more beautiful than the one I had indicated as a starting point. I'm not beautiful but this is also very good. Very kind and helpful staff. What can I say, I give 5 stars because I can't give more!!!

16/02/2025: Mi spiace dirlo ma in questa struttura le esigenze degli ospiti vengono messe in secondo piano. Camere fredde poiché dotate di vecchi termosifoni malfunzionanti, colazione pessima in quanto, oltre che scarsa nella quantità, sono stati offerti prodotti del giorno prima, fette di pane freddo e duro, cornetti appena sfornati che in forno si erano riusciti a mala pena a scongelare). Pulizia sufficiente ma non top. In compenso camere prezzate come una struttura di 4 stelle.
