Attention to intolerants and celiacs and the use of quality products make this business at a higher level than other pizzerias. I love red beer and I was served a Grimbergen, Belgian beer, in a fabulous beer glass! Too bad he didn't take the photo... Fast and professional service.

23/04/2024: Het steegje moet je kennen, zo niet is het even zoeken. Het stadje heeft overal zwerfafval. Maar als je voor het restaurant staat en je eenmaal binnen bent blijkt het echt een parel van een restaurant te zijn, waar de locals graag komen eten. Fantastisch eten en goede service! Aanrader!

22/08/2024: I'm sorry to write a negative review about the place and it concerns the staff but after yesterday's incident whoever owns this place must take action. First of all, already closed to the public from 00:00 when the main closing time occurs an hour later. Leaving this aside, since we were continuing to serve customers for takeaway food only, there was no problem for me. If it weren't for the fact that at a certain point they decide to no longer serve those on the outside, coming out with a sentence like "They're understaffed due to three absences", so they basically kicked us all out. I stay there for a few minutes with some friends talking until the staff completely exceeds all limits. First of all they didn't allow a pregnant woman to even use the toilets and secondly after a few minutes they let three girls come in and serve them with the excuse of getting take-away ice cream. I asked for a verbal confrontation with the staff and the only word they said to me was "you're right" when the only thing I wanted was to consume outside the restaurant. Rude as ever, inadequate and listless staff and I wonder if someone else had arrived in a threatening manner would they have served him too? So the idiots we left out were all the polite ones?

The owner also made us a map with places to visit, too bad we only stayed one night Very positive experience, if we happen to be in the area we will certainly return

07/06/2024: Staying here means fully immersing yourself in the woods and the wonderful nature of Etna and having the opportunity to taste the delicious dishes cooked by Laura. The location is perfect for exploring Etna and the surrounding places. We stayed for two nights and in three days we visited Taormina, the Alcantera gorges, the summit craters of Etna, other places on Etna, did wine tasting in the nearby vineyards, visited thousand-year-old oaks... in short, it is an excellent location. The rooms are a bit spartan but a lot of care is taken in welcoming guests. I stayed with some American cousins ​​who had never been to Sicily before and I am very happy that they had the opportunity to experience the proverbial hospitality and generosity of this wonderful island and its inhabitants.

29/08/2024: Tanti “pro”, un solo “contro”. Prenotato casualmente in questa struttura per la vicinanza logistica al punto d’incontro per l’escursione sull’Etna - a circa 40 minuti. Innanzitutto, location meravigliosa. Immerso nella natura, siamo stati nella pace più totale. Piccolo, confortevole e intimo al punto giusto: le camere sono leggermente distanti dal ristorante, dalla piscina e dalla reception, locata nel punto più vicino al cancello d’ingresso. Tutte facili da raggiunge a piedi. È possibile lasciare l’auto accanto agli alloggi, situate poco più in alto rispetto al ristorante, in modo da poter scaricare bagagli e valigie, e avere la vettura a portata di mano. Ineccepibile il servizio. La gentilissima e simpaticissima Claudia ci ha fatto sentire a casa, dall’inizio alla fine della nostra permanenza. Impeccabile. Devo dire ottimo anche il ristorante. Il fatto che non abbiano un menù fisso, ti fa capire quanto lavorino con prodotti freschi e di stagione. Dagli antipasti - abbiamo provato sia la parmigiana che la caponata - ai primi - gnocchetti al pesto di pistacchio e speck - dai secondi - polpetta di salsiccia con patate - ai dessert - semifreddi al pistacchio e alle mandorle di loro produzione - tutti sublimi. Ingredienti buoni, saporiti e gustosi, con pietanze ben presentate e consistenti. Unica pecca, per quel che mi riguarda, le camere. Hanno un gran potenziale, ma se fossero curate meglio, in termini di estetica e pulizia, avrei dato le 5 stelle piene.

First of all, wonderful location. Immersed in nature, we were in total peace. Small, comfortable and intimate at the right point: the rooms are slightly distant from the restaurant, the swimming pool and the reception, located at the point closest to the entrance gate. All easy to reach on foot. It is possible to leave the car next to the accommodations, located just above the restaurant, so that you can unload your bags and suitcases and have the car at hand. The service is impeccable. The very kind and very nice Claudia made us feel at home, from the beginning to the end of our stay. Impeccable. I must say the restaurant is also excellent. The fact that they don't have a fixed menu makes you understand how much they work with fresh, seasonal products. From the appetizers - we tried both the parmigiana and the caponata - to the first courses - gnocchi with pistachio pesto and speck - from the second courses - sausage meatball with potatoes - to the desserts - semifreddos with pistachio and almonds of their own production - all sublime. Good, tasty and tasty ingredients, with well-presented and consistent dishes. The only flaw, as far as I'm concerned, are the rooms. They have a lot of potential, but if they were better looked after, in terms of aesthetics and cleanliness, I would have given the full 5 stars.

Absolutely homely local Italian/Sicilian atmosphere of a simple family trattoria with cheap homemade very tasty food, the same Sicilian dishes as from your aunt/grandmother. The service almost does not speak English, but you can get along anyway. Everything delicious and for the center of Catania - surprisingly cheap! If you like a real home atmosphere, where no one plays for anything, but cooks and feeds their guests well, I definitely recommend visiting and enjoying it. You probably won't find lunch for 4 people with water and wine under 60 euros anywhere else in the center

This American-style system cannot work here because many very selfish customers remain inside the bar for a long time, ignoring the exhausting wait of motorists who only have to get fuel. Those who intend to consume the smart menus at the table, i.e. pre-frozen croissants with gourmet fillings, check the prices and cover charge beforehand because they are truly exorbitant.

06/08/2024: 4 of us went in the evening to eat pizza in this place where I had already been, I noticed that a part of the outdoor room was closed, making the place less beautiful, but anyway I thought I'd write this review because I found for the second time that the raw material of the pizzas is very mediocre such as mozzarella, salami etc., and what's more in a pizza there will be like 1kg of toppings (mediocre). I advise you to raise the prices a little which are ridiculous and to give more quality
