27/07/2024: We ordered three aperitifs and were honestly very disappointed since they were only potatoes, potatoes and potatoes...we could have advised ourselves to get something else...and anyway there weren't even cocktails included...disappointment at the high prices

14/01/2024: Quiet place where you can eat sushi “all you can eat”. The price is €18, plus €1 for service. Drinks and desserts apart. We paid €43.20 in total adding the 2 waters we consumed. The staff was very attentive and friendly and the dishes came out pretty quickly! We really liked the shrimp tempera and the fried shrimp. I also recommend the salmon tartare and the fried salmon and Philadelphia cheese roll. You can tell that the product is fresh. You should also pay attention to some combinations since there were pieces that we noticed were a little bland. Otherwise everything perfect!

09/08/2024: Even though it is very far from my town, it is always a pleasure to go to this sandwich shop/kiosk where you can enjoy perhaps the best sandwich in the area and a delicious milkshake. When you arrive at the sandwich shop you are spoiled for choice both in terms of dishes and condiments, I would use them all as they are so inviting!! The sandwich they serve you is really huge and in addition to being really filling it is a pleasure for the palate. After the savory meal you go to the kiosk next door where you can taste many types of milkshakes or glasses with fruit, I always prefer the Nutella milkshake, one of the biggest and best I've ever eaten in Catania and its province... with my family periodically we gladly go to this place which I highly recommend trying for anyone who hasn't done it!!!

25/07/2024: Io non conoscevo questo posto bensì quello accanto che fa panini.Non so trovare le parole adatte per la situazione. Iniziamo con la signora che si è fatta ripetere 3 volte il gusto della granita,coppe piccole e con i bordi irregolari che la granita si butta subito di fuori,la brioche (cruda e piatta di dentro)o la togli subito dal vassoio o la puoi buttare perché si inzuppa,tovaglioli al tavolo zero,li chiedi e te ne danno uno che a stento ti asciughi due dita,gusto mandorla scordetevelo perché nn si capisce cosa sia senti solo cannella.Chiedi l'acqua (che in genere si serve con la colazione) ed è calda e puzzolente tipo di cloro,neanche fresca con 40°all'ombra che ci sono!!! Ok buttiamo pure questa.Tutto orrendo,dal servizio al cibo,senza parole.

16/08/2024: My first coffee in Sicily. Yes, Czechs are quite confused by such concepts, because we don't know if the service will come or if you have to order at the counter. Well, since I asked at the counter, the attendant came right away. How plain and simple.

07/08/2024: A wonderful place in Catania! You must go there and try the baba, gelato and brioche! The service was very nice and friendly. The wait was long, but it was worth it. Taste and huge portions

28/05/2024: It used to be a great sushi bar, now it's an amazing high quality sushi restaurant. For me the best in the Etna province.

06/08/2024: The beef was absolutely delicious, and the spaghetti was just as tasty. The service is impeccable, with very friendly and courteous staff. However, the ambiance leaves something to be desired, lacking life and atmosphere.

29/06/2024: I agree with the most recent reviews....Il Timo deserves a better rating. The service was exceptional, the food was top, and the atmosphere, enjoyable. Instead of driving to a restaurant, stick to Il Timo and take the 20-30 minutes you would be using to find parking to enjoy a relaxing aperitivo! Definitely recommended!

08/07/2024: Good coffee Bad service Totally unfriendly Sass The tea is simply thrown on the table and the waitress sits on a bench outside and spits on the street. That spoils your appetite. I would prefer not to give a star at all, but I have to in order to write a review. We were simply shocked by the German standard that we are used to. As always here in Catania, prices are cheeky for 2.50 per person to share water, so to everyone who wants to come here, no! You'll get ripped off rocked.

25/05/2024: A place truly cared for down to the smallest detail ❤️ I immediately fell in love with it. You can have lunch, an aperitif, a dinner.... it's a magical place.. we had an aperitif which was all super good

30/06/2024: Pizzas are ok, large and with fresh ingredients. For take away might be a 5 out of 5. But we had dinner there, and service was very slow, and the place cannot be considered a restaurant as such… not recommended at all to dine there

09/08/2024: Ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante perché ci ha attratto l’energia positiva e, solo dopo esserci seduti, ha iniziato a suonare un gruppo di ragazzi. Abbiamo ordinato un primo, un secondo e una birra artigianale. Le porzioni ci hanno colpito per la qualità e la quantità, lo staff è stato molto gentile e cordiale. Il conto da pagare veramente onesto.

09/08/2024: Arrivati in gruppo, abbiamo atteso più di un’ora per cenare, abbiamo preso delle grigliate di pesce che sono arrivate bruciate e senza i contorni indicati.

12/08/2024: It was a little entertainment with an appetizer and pizza round. Huge C-shaped table and in some places the food didn't even arrive and you had to call to have it served. Often even unheard and conai turned to other diners to pass the dishes to him. Practically very lacking organisation. Pizza a little chewy. Very warm and cool with occasional drafts. Very beautiful and well-kept place that has good growth opportunities. Improve service with good coordination. Arrange to cool the room well considering that the summers will still be hot and longer. However, it is a nice place and needs to be coordinated and managed better, also increasing the quality of the banquets. I understand that you get what you pay for, but it would be best to avoid something too cheap. Much more can be done.

12/12/2023: Initially it was a point of reference. The best in the area. Then it was hit by a moment of stasis, I hope it can flourish again and return to the glories of the past. Frankie is a great person with a huge heart. I will definitely return.
