04/07/2025: We ate very delicious food at a very good price. Burgers are 4-7€ and plentiful. The service is nice and fast. Only use the bathroom if you really need it, otherwise it's rather forgettable.

04/02/2026: I've been a regular customer, I've brought many people to this place, I was happy to spend time in such a lovely place and also close to home. I've always had cakes in other prestigious pastry shops in Catania, but since I'm a customer of this Bakery, I called to book a simple cheesecake for my mother-in-law's birthday, stressing that it had to be a small cake for 4 people, the reservation was confirmed. I sent my husband to pick up the cake and when he told me the price he had paid (€55) for a non-spectacular cake (I would have justified it if it had had any particular representations), but talking about a simple cheesecake that I've always paid €25-30 in other places, I was truly shocked. More than €30 per kg, so are we talking about a cheesecake with 18 kt gold filling? Only now have I paid attention to the reviews left by other people and everyone is complaining about the price. I'm sorry for what happened, but I will never return to this place with my friends or family again. I was planning on having cakes made for other events, but I strongly doubt that my presence there will be DISAPPOINTED again.

09/03/2026: Terrible experience, poor seafood lunch and very expensive for the quality of the food. From the moment we sat down, we waited over an hour for our first course, spaghetti with clams, where the clams were just a mirage... spaghetti in olive oil, and paccheri with eggplant and swordfish sauce... awful, another hour's wait for two calamari and grilled vegetables. The end result: two first courses and two second courses were a two-and-a-half hour wait. Definitely avoid.

26/02/2026: I've been to A Carretteria several times with family and friends and have always had great food, whether it's pizza, meat dishes, or pasta dishes. The wait staff is always ready to make you feel welcome. The place is beautiful, both inside and out, with lots of character, both upstairs and downstairs. Plus, the price is fair! It's become a go-to for me. Highly recommended!

09/12/2025: I found myself in Catania for work, and decided to spend the remaining hours inside the Ikea store. I decided to have lunch inside, wandering around the immense store, and I must say that, to my surprise, I found some things good and others less so. The salmon fillet was pleasant. The medallions were tasty. The rest wasn't to my liking. I found it to be like a cheap cafeteria, despite the high price. Finally, the €1.60 bottle of water seems like a rip-off. The dispensers that were supposed to work were actually broken, and for these reasons, I gave them a 2* rating.

07/12/2025: We went there for breakfast and ordered Arancino and a Pizza-like-Slice made with Eggs and Eggplant. it was really great. The Arancino was one of the best I ate in Sicily. I really recommend it.

24/11/2025: One of the best bakeries in Catania, if not the best. The variety is immense, you'll be spoiled for choice. The food is delicious and high-quality, and the prices are still very affordable. The hot plates are generously sized and full of toppings. The staff is friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

25/02/2026: I found it by chance while traveling and stopped for dinner. I had the mixed horse meat... the best and most tender meat I've ever eaten (rare). The meatballs were sublime... and I'm a wood-fired griller. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely be back. It's definitely worth taking the trip around Catania to go back!

02/01/2026: We've been going to Blu Tunnel for a while now, and it's always a guaranteed success. The food is always excellent: from classic sandwiches and gigantic burgers to pizzas, from starters to main courses, and even salads, everything is prepared with care and flavor. The staff is friendly, always helpful, and welcoming, each one better than the next. The environment is tidy and very clean, which we greatly appreciate. It's a place we always love to return to and we recommend without hesitation.

25/02/2026: The food was delicious and aesthetically pleasing. I had the fish and it was incredibly fresh. The service was quick and impeccable, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the renovated location was beautiful. I personally couldn't find any flaws and highly recommend it.

16/10/2025: Great traditional Sicilian / Italian food with emphasis on seafood. Pizzas only on Saturday and Sunday. Easy access and parking out front.
