17/12/2024: We stayed in Giarre 3 nights and Novecento was the best dinner by far. It's a 20-minute walk from the center of town to the restaurant, but well worth it. Novecento is in a century-old house; the dining area is on the first floor, where the bedrooms once were. The design is elegant but welcoming. And the food was delightful! One of us is vegetarian and was not disappointed by the menu. The other is an omnivore and so was delighted by the unique local dishes - not the same 5 offerings that most restaurants prepare. The appetizer for one would have been more than enough for two, but of course we couldn't resist, a primo for the vegetarian and a secondo for the omnivore.

08/04/2025: Excellent sandwich maker, the only flaw is that depending on who you take they give you an empty sandwich.

19/03/2025: I've always had a good time with food, table and everything, the bathroom is a small flaw but it's still a kiosk so there's a compromise.

30/05/2025: Servizio inesistente, l'unica persona che mi ha servita è stata scontrosa, non ha capito il mio ordine. Ho dovuto mangiare qualcosa che non volevo. I biscotti sono duri e insapore e tre pancake costano 6 euro quando poco tempo fa 5 pancake ne costavano 6. Un furto non solo riguardo il costo ma soprattutto il gusto del cibo.

21/02/2025: If you are looking for a place in Catania where you can study without falling asleep, work on the PC without feeling like an alien, or simply eat like crazy in a cool environment... Student Lab is the right place! The place is super welcoming, with a chill atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. Perfect for both a quick lunch break and an easy evening with friends. And then the food? BOMB! Space burgers, super fresh poke and sharing platters that make you want to order another one (spoiler: you will). The staff is very kind and always with a smile, which really makes the difference. In short: 🔥 Rating: 10/10 – I will definitely be back! 🔥

22/03/2025: sono andato per prendere delle pizze. Con mia sorpresa, ho scoperto che non hanno più il forno per le pizze. Adesso fanno solo 6 tipi di pizze con le basi già precotte e sconfezionate davanti e "infornate" nel forno elettrico verticale dove cuociono anche i cornetti. La qualità della pizza era orrenda: non era "cotta" (o riscaldata) bene e si sentiva il sapore della classica base da pizza da supermercato. Terribile!

18/05/2025: The pasta a la norma was incredible!! Affordable place, highly recommended if you're spending a few days in Catania. However, they offer you a shot of limoncello at the end of the meal without telling you the price, and then charge you €10 for it!

01/05/2025: Lo si sceglie se si vuole la certezza di mangiare bene. Locale sempre carino, accogliente e molto molto pulito. La qualità della cucina è di prim’ordine, con piatti ricercati e mai banali, valorizzati dall’accostamento alla cucina locale, del buonissimo tartufo. Servizio e professionalità sempre ai massimi livelli.

16/04/2025: Huiselijk restaurant met heerlijk eten. Alles was perfect, de pasta, het vlees, de vis en de beste desserts. Aanrader voor wie in de buurt van de Etna verblijft.

23/05/2025: I returned after two years to celebrate at Borgata Baldazza, after my son's baptism, last Sunday I celebrated my fortieth birthday. I have known the lady since she started the business, about twenty years ago and she never disappoints. I chose this place without looking elsewhere, I was sure of the excellent result. The compliments that my guests gave me were countless and I in turn give them to the entire organizational machine that is behind the preparation of an event. Specifically, I decided to celebrate my birthday with an aperitif lunch, since I wanted something lively, different from the usual, the lady immediately understood my request by proposing a sort of picnic under the olive trees. A perfect idea: lots of space, lots of joy, good music and lots of good food. Not to mention the very cute and well-kept arrangements, very kind and attentive staff. Everything was perfect! I thank you again for your availability and professionalism. See you next time.

23/04/2025: Siamo venuti da Roma per trascorrere la giornata di Pasqua e ci siamo trovati molto bene......la struttura è immersa nel verde con un bel giardino,una piscina,un bosco ed una chiesetta molto graziosa.Sicuramente il luogo si presta per eventi di varia natura vista la bella location.Abbiamo pranzato nella sala con camino mentre l 'altra sala ha una bella veranda sul giardino.Ci sono varie camere che ovviamente non abbiamo visitato.Il menù è stato molto buono....forse l'aperitivo andava anticipato un pochino...per il resto ci sono piaciuti sia gli antipasti ,i primi ed i secondi.Bella l 'alternanza tra fuori e dentro per antipasti e desserts....Sicuramente da provare anche il pernotto....consigliato anche per la possibilità di andare a vedere la maestosa Etna

15/05/2025: I have to give only one star to this great store, but the staff has become super unpleasant and incompetent. A customer is the lifeblood of a business, so they must be respected, whether during the store visit or in the cafeteria. Everything has become computerized, and we spend more time at the checkout than before, which results in a cold meal and great frustration at the exit, where we spend 20 minutes at the self-service checkouts, overseen by people who look like prison guards!

23/04/2025: Very well organized and very inclusive place. A true reference for all of eastern Sicily in the furniture sector! I would like to point out that I have never used design services or similar services, which I therefore cannot review. If you want to nitpick, several foods offered in the bar contain poor quality ingredients, not in line with the ecogreen principles of which the company prides itself, and the air exchange, when there is a lot of confusion, appears insufficient, there is stale air. Overall, highly recommended!

31/03/2025: We were staying at a nearby hotel. We enjoyed our visit to the restaurant the first night and for that we went again. Very disappointed the second time: Catania salad with red tomatoes, we were served with greens, the tomato pasta was without any spices. Only the pizza was good. They must know we are tourists and won't be visiting again…
