17/12/2024: We stayed in Giarre 3 nights and Novecento was the best dinner by far. It's a 20-minute walk from the center of town to the restaurant, but well worth it. Novecento is in a century-old house; the dining area is on the first floor, where the bedrooms once were. The design is elegant but welcoming. And the food was delightful! One of us is vegetarian and was not disappointed by the menu. The other is an omnivore and so was delighted by the unique local dishes - not the same 5 offerings that most restaurants prepare. The appetizer for one would have been more than enough for two, but of course we couldn't resist, a primo for the vegetarian and a secondo for the omnivore.

04/11/2024: Mi è stato consigliato questo ristorante, e ne è valsa veramente la pena, super affascinante questo locale, tante stanze con affreschi sui tetti che sembrerebbero antichi . Locale molto calmo . Con camerieri molto all'altezza, sempre presenti e gentili. La pizza veramente buona. Bravi.

Student Lab is the right place! The place is super welcoming, with a chill atmosphere that makes you want to stay for hours. Perfect for both a quick lunch break and an easy evening with friends. And then the food? BOMB! Space burgers, super fresh poke and sharing platters that make you want to order another one (spoiler: you will). The staff is very kind and always with a smile, which really makes the difference. In short: 🔥 Rating: 10/10 – I will definitely be back! 🔥

22/03/2025: sono andato per prendere delle pizze. Con mia sorpresa, ho scoperto che non hanno più il forno per le pizze. Adesso fanno solo 6 tipi di pizze con le basi già precotte e sconfezionate davanti e "infornate" nel forno elettrico verticale dove cuociono anche i cornetti. La qualità della pizza era orrenda: non era "cotta" (o riscaldata) bene e si sentiva il sapore della classica base da pizza da supermercato. Terribile!

01/04/2025: The standard was at least 5 stars, the eggplant was simply wonderful, but I was tempted by the carbonara and the extras... it's a real shame because it's actually scrambled eggs with pasta. The prices are ok but I highly advise against the carbonara. There's no quiet music and you really have to wait a long time.

16/02/2025: Mi spiace dirlo ma in questa struttura le esigenze degli ospiti vengono messe in secondo piano. Camere fredde poiché dotate di vecchi termosifoni malfunzionanti, colazione pessima in quanto, oltre che scarsa nella quantità, sono stati offerti prodotti del giorno prima, fette di pane freddo e duro, cornetti appena sfornati che in forno si erano riusciti a mala pena a scongelare). Pulizia sufficiente ma non top. In compenso camere prezzate come una struttura di 4 stelle.

26/02/2025: Locale particolare nel cuore di Catania. Si possono gustare particolarità della cucina catanese come arancini in vari gusti, pizze, primi piatti sfiziosi e secondi di carne. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Ottimo per un pasto veloce o per una cena tra amici.

18/12/2024: The best takeaway pizzeria in Catania that competes with the best pizzeria restaurants. Whatever day of the week you go there, they always make you a top-notch pizza. The ingredients are of the highest quality (from fried foods to raw materials) and abundant, they are placed on a spectacular dough that makes everything a fairy tale!! 18/12 I wanted to update the review since I also tried the crushes. They really deserve so much that they should do them all year round! All really very good, we "enjoy" eating them, the quality of the ingredients is always at the top and the dough is perfect. The only dough that can be digested without problems As always they never disappoint! Congratulations to everyone, also for your availability, kindness and professionalism

22/03/2025: Terrible! More than 35 minutes of waiting to eat some raw casadieri with a supposed carbonara that was nothing more than a scrambled egg with pancetta and a lot of salt and pepper. To finish, they kept us waiting another 10 minutes to pay, because we couldn't go to the counter ourselves, the person who served the whole place alone had to come (thank goodness there were only six of us). The joke, the worst 28 euros of the whole trip to Catania. Don't go if you are in a hurry, hungry and even less if you are in the mood for tasty pasta and good service. Not to return!
