26/01/2026: We traveled all the way to Sortino specifically to try the pizzolo at Malakenia, and it was well worth the trip! Highly recommended by friends, and the food was truly delicious. The restaurant is a simple, charming spot that makes you feel right at home—the indoor seating felt just like a cozy dining room in someone’s house.
The place was packed, which is always a great sign of quality, so even with a bit of a wait, the experience was excellent. If you are looking for authentic, top-tier pizzolo in a welcoming environment, this is the place to go.
27/11/2025: A very formal pizzeria, but with delicious, special pizzas. Courtesy and kindness make this place a specialty.

14/06/2025: The best pizza I've eaten in a long time. Delicious airy dough, very large size and delicious toppings. Really what you're looking for in a pizza. In addition, it was also cozy sitting and good service. Definitely recommended!

28/02/2026: Terrible experience, both in terms of service and wait time. The wait for 4 pizzas was over an hour, even if it wasn't because they prioritized takeout, and those at tables had to wait over an hour. Organization was lacking because they couldn't manage both at the same time. The pizza wasn't great, and the coffees came in paper cups like at village fairs.

07/12/2025: We wanted to spend a Sunday lunch out at a restaurant we didn't know. It was a rip-off, not a good value for money: two appetizers, three first courses, for three people, plus drinks, cost €160. Then we discovered that a plate of spaghetti with sea urchins, frozen and sold as fresh, cost €28—an outrageous amount. I absolutely do not recommend it.

18/01/2026: Pizzeria is really NOT RECOMMENDED. The way in which customers are treated really leaves a lot to be desired, starting from the principles of education, average pizza, quite classic environment, nothing special, prices from Northern Italy, crazy.

21/06/2025: I took a tasteless "wild boar" sandwich, they serve the salad to be dressed but in the menu there was neither salt nor pepper, it was a place that I frequented years ago but lately it does not satisfy my tastes. The place is welcoming but noisy better the table outside the guys who serve the tables are kind p.s. in the sandwich I removed tomato and pink sauce and I said that I only wanted mayonnaise they made me pay the supplement.

15/02/2026: Stunning place with an enchanting atmosphere, impeccable service and wonderful food. The only flaw I found was perhaps the wagyu tataki, where I didn't find the typical marbling and melt-in-the-mouth quality of the meat. In fact, at times it was a little, let me say, "rubbery" to chew. Perhaps it wasn't the best of the cuts they had. Otherwise, everything was perfect, I'll try it again.

17/03/2026: The trattoria is unheated and the doors are wide open, so it's only 12 degrees Celsius inside, just like outside. The waiter is determined to bring you the appetizers, even if you don't want them. We then waited 30 minutes for a schnitzel with fries and a whopping 45 minutes for a steak. My schnitzel arrived first, unfortunately cold, and the fries were just fried potatoes. The potato for the steak arrived at the same time. The steak itself didn't come until 18 minutes later, by which time I had finished the schnitzel and the potato was long since cold. It tasted awful. This place is a complete tourist trap. Please go somewhere else!
