Alessia was marvellous, service was excellent. We had a table for 11 and everyone was very happy.

13/10/2025: Good food, especially the appetizers. The fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and sausage wasn't at all what I imagined, lacking flavor and lacking any cream. The service was prompt and friendly.

19/10/2025: The only positive aspect is the location opposite the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Otherwise, two "watered-down" aperitifs and a 10% service charge (this is the first time this has happened to us after dozens of trips... except in the UK). All this without any crisps, peanuts, or anything else being served...

17/09/2025: Beautiful restaurant. Despite a lot of reservations they made a table for us outside on the patio. Food was delicious and the service fantastic. Definitely added to our list of places to return to!
I did notice a lot of large groups (up to 28 people) with reservations, so if you want outdoor seating I would call ahead.

14/11/2025: I recently had the opportunity to have lunch at Trattoria Dal Barbuto, and I must say it was an excellent experience. The quality of the ingredients and the cooking methods are the restaurant's true strengths, making it a must-try for those seeking authenticity and flavor.
The staff is friendly, welcoming, and very attentive: as a tourist, I appreciated their suggestions for typical Sicilian dishes, especially those from Catania.
The table service is impeccable, attentive to detail, and always punctual.
A trattoria that truly deserves to be considered a benchmark for Catania's dining scene. Highly recommended!

07/11/2025: This is a gem of a place on the Main Street in Taormina. Lovely cozy bar atmosphere, with great ambient music. We went on a rainy evening and it was the perfect place to escape the weather. They offer a wonderful selection of cocktails, and light food. We were six people, and had 2 very nicely arranged cheese and charcuterie platters, and two pizzas, and the portions were generous enough that we had enough food for dinner. The wait staff were friendly and anxious to please. We would definitely recommend.
05/11/2025: Fine for a quick high priced drink, but the bartender special cocktail was overly sweet and they served prosecco in a regular wine glass than a sparkling wine glass. They never checked on us once.
