05/09/2025: Clean and welcoming place... As soon as we entered, a young man welcomed us and, seeing my poodle arrive, he already went out of his way to give my dog ​​water without me saying anything. This place already deserves 5 stars... We had some delicious cuts of meat, you can also find the butcher shop on display inside. I had a very good pizza, the pistachio and melon liqueurs on the house were excellent... Mattia, the young man who welcomed us, was full of attention to the entire service from start to finish... To conclude, he gave balloons to my children, a small gesture but for my children it was super. Thanks again Mattia, number one...

The atmosphere is warm and familiar, with simple furnishings reminiscent of rural tradition. The most striking feature is the menu written entirely in the Lecce dialect: a detail that isn't just folkloristic, but a true act of love for the region. Each dish tells a story, starting with the name. The cuisine is excellent. The orecchiette with turnip greens is flavorful and perfectly creamed, while the ciceri e tria is prepared according to tradition, with the perfect balance of fried and boiled pasta. The grilled meat is tender and fragrant, while the local vegetable appetizers showcase the freshness of the ingredients. The homemade desserts also deserve a special mention. The service is impeccable: the waiter is attentive, friendly, and always ready to explain the dishes with passion. The owner welcomes guests as if they were longtime friends, creating an authentic and convivial atmosphere. A genuine gastronomic experience, where quality, tradition, and kindness meet harmoniously.

28/02/2026: Lunch at @profumodipane.lecce, traditional cuisine. We sat outside. Simple place, great service, they are very attentive and fast. We ordered: Lasagna and Taieddha (rice, zucchini, potatoes, mussels), delicious dishes. Dessert: Tartufo Nero (Gianduia ice cream with eggnog and dark chocolate). We finished with coffee, of course. 08/01/2026: Spicchi d’Arte is a pizzeria that has built a strong presence in the area over the years, with multiple locations in Specchia, Gagliano del Capo, and Tricase. I personally visited the Specchia location on New Year's Eve, and overall the experience was good, although there were some areas that could be improved. I'll start with the location, which certainly deserves a very positive review: the place is truly beautiful, meticulously maintained, and a pleasure to be in. The atmosphere is elegant and modern, ideal for both an evening with friends and a more relaxed dinner. The only negative, unfortunately, was the temperature inside: it was quite cold, and considering it was a winter evening, and New Year's Eve at that, this somewhat affected the overall comfort. Precisely because it was New Year's Eve, I expected something more in terms of organization and atmosphere. Even something simple would have been enough to make the evening more special. Instead, there was no real dedicated initiative, and we made it all the way to midnight without any particular moments of engagement. Only at the last minute was the Canale 5 countdown broadcast, which was appreciated, but could have been better organized and given a little more advance notice. As for the food, we ordered about 15 pizzas, for a total of €311. Price-wise, considering the quantity and overall quality, it's reasonable. The pizzas are good, and the dough, especially the Neapolitan one, is well-made. I ordered a specchiudda, which was really good overall; the only thing that made me turn up my nose was the burrata, which seemed too cold right out of the refrigerator. This is a detail that can bother many people and which I think should be addressed more carefully. We also ordered more classic pizzas, like the Margherita with Neapolitan dough, and more elaborate ones, like the one with burrata and bresaola. The fries were also good, although the latter were a bit too oily. The service was quite slow, but considering the time of year, the large crowd, and the special evening, that's understandable. However, along with the temperature of the place, it contributed to making the experience a little less welcoming than I expected, especially given the special occasion. In conclusion, I give Spicchi d'Arte 4 stars because the quality is there, the place is beautiful, and it has great potential. With a little more attention to hospitality, special event planning, and small details about the food, it could easily take a further leap in quality. This pizzeria is still worth a try and has room for improvement.

02/02/2026: A fantastic pastry shop with a selection of vegan products, including pasticciotto. The owner passionately explained to us how the name "Dolce Salute" (Sweet Health) is the motto this pastry shop believes in.

03/10/2025: We contacted the pastry shop for our wedding. The cake was excellent, and all our guests loved it, as they were amazed that it was gluten- and lactose-free. The ice cream (coconut and mango) was also excellent, and not only tasted great, it was a perfect ending to the meal. The spectacular cake was also stunning, and everyone was amazed. Highly recommended for anyone with dietary restrictions, and more.

02/11/2025: I'm a huge fan of this place! The pizzas are truly delicious, made with fresh ingredients and a perfect dough. The atmosphere is welcoming and the place is very cute, perfect for an evening with friends. Plus, the music is always engaging and there's a fantastic energy that invites you to dance.

19/03/2026: Evening in Casarano and my wife opts for this place in the city center. Vaulted ceiling, very discreet atmosphere and friendly staff. Not many people (we Lombards eat with chickens compared to the locals). Excellent appetizer with broad beans and cooked chicory, then I have fried calamari and prawns and my wife a green pepper sliced ​​steak with grilled courgettes while I have baked potatoes... to drink red wine for her and 2 glasses of rosé for me. Everything very good and served with care. The bill is almost 80 euros total but we are satisfied with the food and the place. Definitely a pass!!!
