Here, you sit among locals, which makes the atmosphere wonderfully authentic. The food is also impressive: The pizza is exactly as you would expect – traditional. Excellent value for money. If you're looking for a pizzeria with a genuine, local flair, this is the place to be. A local's recommendation hit the nail on the head: "Best pizza in town."

11/09/2025: Stay away from this restaurant – it's absolutely life-threatening! I've rarely experienced such a disaster in my life as after my visit to Il Greco. My girlfriend and I were there as a group of three. Luckily, the third person didn't eat anything, otherwise they would have had to go through the same ordeal as us. We ordered several small dishes: meatballs in tomato sauce, an eggplant casserole, and seafood that obviously came out of a can. As soon as we tasted them, we had the feeling something was wrong – but we never imagined it would be THIS bad. It started that very night: extreme nausea, chills, cramps, and constant vomiting. We had the worst food poisoning imaginable. Four entire days of our vacation were completely ruined – we were lying on our backs, every sip of water came right back out. At one point, we seriously considered going to the hospital. I'm not someone who writes bad reviews lightly – but this is absolutely irresponsible. A restaurant that serves its guests this kind of food should either be closed immediately or subjected to strict, regular inspections. My conclusion: Anyone who eats here is gambling with their health. Never again – and I strongly advise anyone not to even set foot in this establishment.

Everything was delicious: the rich and flavorful appetizer, the exceptional first course, and finally the perfectly cooked fried fish. 28/08/2025: During my vacation in Maglie, I had the pleasure of having breakfast at this café/pastry shop several times, and I must say it was a truly excellent experience. The pasticciotti are simply irresistible: fragrant, creamy, and made with quality ingredients. The staff has always been friendly, helpful, and attentive, ready to accommodate every request. The prices are also very fair, especially considering the high quality of the products offered. I highly recommend anyone in Maglie to stop here; it's the ideal place to start the day with flavor.

24/08/2025: We went to the Arte del Gusto pastry shop on the recommendation of a friend who often comes here on vacation. We tried several desserts: a cream and mandarin pasticciotto, a cream and berry pasticciotto, a cream and mango pasticciotto, a cream-filled donut (soft and beautifully filled—they told me it weighed about 350 grams!), a monachina (a pastry filled with cream and Nutella), as well as various pasticciotti to take away. The cream is truly delicious, although I've honestly had better pastries. I also really appreciated the unique flavor combinations, which make the desserts original and different from the usual. I was really impressed by the donut: soft, huge, full of cream, and truly delicious. The pastry shop is very cute, and the staff is kind and helpful. A plus is definitely the prices, which are very fair compared to average. Overall, it's worth a stop for anyone looking for unique and well-made desserts.

16/08/2025: Last night we visited this pizzeria, we asked for a few appetizers and then we had two pizzas, the dough was spectacular, being Neapolitan, at a certain point I thought I was in Naples, the pizza was so good, the best in Nardo and Porto Cesareo. Well done, keep it up.

24/08/2025: My boyfriend and I vacationed at Tenuta Sant'Andrea. The place is truly fabulous, strategically located for reaching the most beautiful places. We had a wonderful time. Matteo's kindness and hospitality were priceless. He made us feel at home right away and gave us helpful tips on all the places to visit. For anyone looking for a vacation in Salento, Tenuta Sant'Andrea is an absolute must!

11/09/2025: We had lunch last Sunday, I have to say, top location with a sea view, wow. As for the food, I'd say it was good for our taste, but not excellent. The appetizer, the gratinated mussels, were raw for me. The first courses were decent, the fried food was quite well done, and the service was quite good. I'd say it's not good, but not bad either.

07/09/2025: The owner is incredibly kind, as are the staff. We've been there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and every time has been a wonderful experience. Stunning sea views, always chilled beer. The seafood strozzapreti, pizzas, fried fish, and desserts are all excellent... what can I say? Well done.

26/08/2025: In the historic center of Martano, you'll find this splendid little restaurant with a romantic outdoor seating area on a side street beneath a sky of fairy lights. Extensive menu of meat and seafood Incredible appetizers (applause for the octopus alla pignata), good wine, and a very relaxing atmosphere. Energizing and youthful service. One small point: I'd add a fish option to the seafood grill (the one served included swordfish, cuttlefish, and grilled prawns). Definitely a restaurant worth trying for anyone visiting Martano.

02/09/2025: I stayed with my family from August 20th to 27th. A simply wonderful, fantastic location, super quiet and well-maintained in every aspect. Absolutely excellent location for nearby Otranto and the nearby beaches of Salento. Giusy and Giuseppe, like all the staff, are exceptional people, always present and available. They make you feel at ease from the first moment. It's hard to find a flaw. The pool is superb, the rooms are spacious and always clean... breakfast, well, what can I say? Their products are top-quality. Wonderful holiday. We will return, but in a few days. I definitely recommend it to everyone.
