15/06/2025: Ho trascorso oggi una fantastica giornata in questo agriturismo. Non ci ero mai stata quindi in genere quando non conosco un posto sono piena di aspettative. Un agriturismo molto molto carino, percorso botanico, immenso giardino esterno, giochi per bambini, camere per alloggiare e ristorante ben organizzato e curato sia nel servizio che nei piatti. La cucina ha preparato per noi una carrellata di antipasti, che potete vedere in foto. Un piatto più buono dell’altro (addirittura riso patate e cozze versione street food sotto forma di arancino, stupendo!). Dopo gli antipasti abbiamo mangiato il primo, squisito, molto ben equilibrati i sapori; uguale il secondo piatto, ottimo! Il personale servizievole e molto molto gentile. Io ero ospite per una cerimonia ma è possibile pranzare o cenare anche a persone esterne quando la sala non è completamente piena quindi conviene sempre prenotare prima o chiamare poco prima per accertarsi che ci sia un tavolo disponibile per voi. Prendendo l’uscita per Sannicola dalla SP per Gallipoli svoltate strettamente a sinistra per non sbagliare perché il navigatore vi fa allungare un po’. Posto davvero incantevole. Lo stra consiglio!

15/06/2025: Today I spent a fantastic day at this agriturismo. I had never been there before so usually when I don't know a place I'm full of expectations. A very very nice agriturismo, botanical trail, huge outdoor garden, games for children, rooms to stay and a well-organized and well-kept restaurant both in terms of service and dishes. The kitchen prepared for us a series of appetizers, which you can see in the photos. One dish better than the other (even rice, potatoes and mussels street food version in the form of arancino, amazing!). After the appetizers we ate the first course, delicious, very well balanced flavors; the second course was the same, excellent! The helpful and very very kind staff. I was a guest for a ceremony but it is possible to have lunch or dinner even for external people when the room is not completely full so it is always best to book first or call shortly before to make sure there is a table available for you. Taking the exit for Sannicola from the SP for Gallipoli, turn strictly left to avoid making a mistake because the navigator makes you go a bit further. Truly enchanting place. I highly recommend it!

16/06/2025: WONDERFUL! From the food to the service, to the atmosphere: everything is taken care of down to the smallest details. Menu in dialect and staff very willing to translate 😂 Jokes aside, truly excellent. We ate fried courgette flowers as an appetizer (they prepared them for me on the spot without anchovies) and two first courses, one of which was typical, with local peas 🫛 and a delicate ragù, spectacular!

20/04/2025: Characteristic location, typical of Salento with wonderful star vaults, well-kept. Cozy environment! Courteous and professional staff. Let's get to the kitchen... The right place to taste traditional cuisine. The house appetizer varied and tasty, the first courses excellent! We will definitely return and talk about you... In fact we went back and this time too we ate very well 👍

18/05/2025: Mi dispiace dover scrivere questa recensione, soprattutto perché in passato ho mangiato più volte in questo locale e ne ero rimasta soddisfatta. Purtroppo, l’esperienza recente è stata ben lontana dagli standard a cui ero abituata, sia per la cucina che – soprattutto – per il servizio. Avevamo prenotato un tavolo per 10 persone con largo anticipo, e ci era stato garantito che avremmo mangiato tutti insieme. Peccato che, al nostro arrivo, ci sia stato comunicato – con poca cortesia e ancor meno dispiacere – che non sarebbe stato possibile. Durante la cena, i piatti sono arrivati in ordine sparso: l’ultima persona ha ricevuto il suo ordine un’ora dopo che la prima aveva iniziato a mangiare e ha dovuto mangiare solo, gli edamame sono arrivati insieme al dolce. Evidentemente c’è stato un errore nell’ordine, ma anche in questo caso nessuna scusa da parte del personale. Quanto al cibo, devo ammettere che non mi ha convinta sia nei piatti principali che nel pesce crudo che potrebbe essere quello di un qualsiasi all you can eat... con la differenza che qui il conto è molto più salato. Era davvero un posto che amavo ma per ora, difficile pensare di tornare.

22/06/2025: We booked a table for an aperitif for four, we had chosen this place based on the photos. Unfortunately, however, the latter did not turn out to be entirely true, as the food was quite abundant but very, very poor. Basically it was all old stuff, in fact we felt the consequences later. We had to ask to clean the table because it was left dirty. It was not the best also for the cost (70€ is honestly exaggerated for a coke, a San Pellegrino, a small bottle of water, a beer, a glass of wine and, above all, for the scarcity of everything else).

09/06/2025: Good and plentiful aperitif with many tasty proposals... Easy to reach with the possibility of finding parking without difficulty. Highly recommended!

17/06/2025: Very good pizza. Wonderful pizza base. Took bresaola and grand padano. My partner took messicana. Good service and good toilet facilities. Very quiet at 1 pm on a Tuesday which we appreciate. A must!

30/04/2025: Excellent food, excellent and quality pizza, friendly and courteous staff. The girl at the cash register with the glasses is a little less so.. I give four stars and not five because we waited 55 minutes for 6 pizzas and there were only 3 tables in the room.. but it's worth it!

16/06/2025: Nice restaurant/bar located in a very suggestive little square under a historic building with a façade of tuffs. The impact was very positive. We waited a bit for a waiter to come and take our order but despite our recommendations specifying that we could not eat spicy food, we were served different cold cuts from those we had chosen including a spicy salami. The first course we chose (fresh spaghetti with amberjack) did not satisfy our palate and unfortunately we were unable to consume it. At the end of the meal, when paying, a gentleman (presumably the chef) asked why we had not appreciated it. My partner tried to explain his point of view but this gentleman was very insistent with him so much so that the discussion became a bit heated. We paid a bill that was not at all low for what we had received but the least pleasant thing was that we left the place with a certain disapproval. In short, the quality/price ratio did not at all meet our expectations. I must reluctantly admit that I would hardly return to this restaurant.

03/06/2025: We dined twice in this lovely restaurant located at the beautiful centre of Allesano. The food was great and the people very friendly. Highly recommended!

09/03/2025: I arrived early from a 12 hour bus, I just wanted a coffee and this place rescued my morning, the most delicious panini I have tried so far in Italy, €11 for 2 people with 1 coffee, a croissant and a panini each

22/04/2025: We discovered it by chance and it was wonderful, a restaurant or trattoria of an elegance like the restaurants of an era where a very kind family worked, we were well served and the food was very good from start to finish, all home made, I want to say thank you to this wonderful family🥰🥰🥰💖💖 Wonderful restaurant, a pizzeria trattoria the guys pizzas are amazing

14/06/2025: Tourist trap place. A fried food 18 euros not abundant at all. Hard fish difficult to chew. Don't expect the service of a restaurant. In general high prices like in a restaurant but fast food setting, high and uncomfortable tables. The owner made us sit on a table for 4 even though there were 2 of us, then the waitress comes and tells us that we had to move because that was for 4 people. The next customers, 2 people, are made to sit on the same table from which they had sent us away. Make up your mind!

08/06/2025: Kind and welcoming staff, tasty and well-prepared dishes. In particular, I recommend the pork cooked at low temperature and the fettuccine with shrimp tartare, pistachio pesto and stracciatella. Special mention for the chicory: I have rarely found it so tasty

07/06/2025: L’atmosfera esclusiva all’interno di in un frantoio del 1600 e un servizio estremamente attento, crea il contesto perfetto per gustare piatti che celebrano la tradizione italiana con un tocco di creatività moderna. Il ristorante Gioré si distingue per la sua capacità di combinare sapori autentici e presentazioni artistiche, offrendo un viaggio gastronomico che delizia sia il palato che gli occhi. Assieme a mia moglie abbiamo vissuto un’esperienza culinaria impeccabile, dove ogni piatto era curato nei dettagli, dalla scelta degli ingredienti alla presentazione. Degustazione di olio extravergine offerta con pane fatto in casa veramente buonissimo…tagliolini pesto di pistacchio, stracciatella e seppia (fuori menù) a dir poco sublimi, sgombro panato e polpo rosticciato eccezionali. Stra consigliato.

30/04/2025: The pizzas are good but in my opinion a little expensive €2 for a cover charge without bread or tablecloth just cutlery and paper napkin 3'50 a small coke 2'50 water
