26/09/2025: Excellent pizza, courtesy and price! 🔝

26/08/2025: We stayed from August 12th to 15th at Over The Top Affittacamere, specifically in the Lu ientu room. The room was truly beautiful: spacious, innovative, and equipped with every comfort. The terrace was wonderful, with a lounger perfect for relaxing in the evening and a comfortable table for dinner. The functional kitchen allowed us to cook with ease, the bathroom was modern and meticulously maintained, and the bed was very comfortable. A special thanks goes to the owner, a wonderful person, humble, sweet, and always available: whenever we called, he was ready to help us and, surprisingly, he tidied our room every day. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by his kindness: the room was perfect, clean, and tidy, and he even provided us with two slices of delicious cake for breakfast, which truly amazed me. Furthermore, there were coffee pods, still and sparkling water, and even little details like salt and laundry detergent: in short, nothing was missing. We highly recommend staying in this apartment, because not only is the property stunning, but the staff also makes a difference. Plus, right downstairs is a beautiful grill restaurant, where the irresistible aroma of freshly grilled meat wafted from every evening. It was an experience that left us with wonderful memories, and one we hope to repeat!

24/02/2026: I tried three restaurants in Lecce, and this one, though not in the old town, was the most satisfying and affordable. Although it was all home-style cooking, every dish was delicious. The bread served was similar to pizza crust, which became sweeter and sweeter with each chew. The portions were so large that I had to skip the appetizers. Highly recommended!

02/02/2026: Trattoria 2.0, behind a slightly vintage and not overly Salento-inspired facade (once you sit inside, you'll realize you could be anywhere) lies a cuisine featuring traditional and less local dishes, all sharing a masterful pursuit of flavor and a sense of authenticity. The plating is simple but pleasing, and the portions are generous. The staff, from the owner (a truly charming person with international experience and a subtly eclectic taste who explains a lot about the restaurant and the menu) to the waitress, were extremely kind, a watchful yet discreet presence that perfectly complemented our dinner. The owner even stopped to play with the two children at the table on a couple of occasions, engaging them with animal drawings and amusing jokes. The quality/price ratio was also excellent; we dined for six (4 adults and 2 children) for a total of €132, including two 0.66 Morettis, four desserts, and two whiskies; So, without too many indulgences, you can easily eat and be satisfied for €25-30 per person. In conclusion, for the quality, prices, and kindness of the staff, I would recommend this place.

23/03/2026: Wide selection of local wines and spirits. A warm welcome with the option of wine tasting. The fava bean puree with cuttlefish is unforgettable. The first courses are excellent. Well done!

08/03/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at this seafood restaurant, and the experience was truly excellent. The fish is incredibly fresh, and you can immediately taste the quality of the dishes: authentic flavors, top-quality ingredients, and a cuisine that showcases the raw ingredients without overdoing it. Each course is meticulously crafted, from the presentation to the perfect balance of flavors. The service was impeccable: the staff were friendly, attentive, and always available to recommend both the daily specials and wine pairings. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined. I absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves good seafood and wants a quality culinary experience. I will definitely be back!

01/02/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant in Otranto after evaluating other places open in the evenings this time of year. We wanted a seafood dinner. We were very pleased with the quality of the fish and the flavor of the dishes we ordered. The mussel sauté was exquisite, and the risotto was also plentiful and tasty. Excellent value. Recommended!

10/03/2026: The atmosphere is sad and gloomy. The food is pleasant, but the service leaves a little to be desired. There are worse things to be seen.

18/02/2026: A pleasant discovery in the Galatone countryside: a farmhouse immersed in nature and silence, tucked away and fortunately far from the Salento nightlife. The culinary offerings are excellent, ranging from typical dishes to simple, traditional fare. Nothing particularly elaborate, but everything is good and substantial. The bill is reasonable (€30/person). The service is a delight 😉. Would I return? Yes.

13/03/2026: How can you make a crepe every 10 minutes? I've never seen such slowness. I waited 30 minutes and there were only 4 people ahead of me. Instead of making crepes, they talk to each other. Never again.

24/12/2025: We had a wonderful lunch at this restaurant! The fish was incredibly fresh and top-quality, and the wine list was incredible. The raw fish was phenomenal, paired with a rosé. The staff gave us great advice, always available with a smile and with a great knowledge of the product. Which is not a given. I will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Great ever so fresh and tastefull fresh dishes are created by 2 magicians in the kitchen. Always check for a table before you go. You must! If only for the atmosohere you are in.

Excellent service, expertly prepared drinks, and a wide selection of top-quality options. Special thanks to the two owners, Silvia and Vincenzo, who maintain a high level of commitment and dedication to quality. Returning to them is always a pleasure, an unmissable stop that makes us appreciate this wonderful land even more.

24/02/2026: Hi, I'll start by saying that I intend to return because I basically liked it and would like to know if it's just an isolated incident. We had a fried meatball appetizer and, on the recommendation of the waiter—who I might add was very good—long potato croquettes they call panzerotti, which were very good. A portion of fried potatoes could have been cooked a little more, but they were good. The Negramaro rosé wine in a carafe was very good, but I'm usually wary of bulk wines. The sore point is the meat. We had two steaks, one chicken and one beef. When ordering, we joked with the waiter, saying, "Well done!"—obviously, that shouldn't even be said about the chicken steak. The result was a chicken steak with some raw pieces. The beef steak was well done, but it wasn't beef steak, but beef strips with arugula and parmesan. The meat was also a bit calloused, so not suitable for a steak. We didn't say anything; we didn't want to argue. The prices are good, average. I repeat, I want to go back to eat those panzerotti again and try the meat again. The service was perfect and very fast, too; I honestly wasn't expecting that given how many people there were. It's a nice place, maybe a little noisy, but that's okay; it's not huge. I'll be back.

05/02/2026: The restaurant is self-service, although it has a small service area with limited hours. The food is good for the restaurant style, the tables are spacious, and it must be difficult to get a table during peak season since we were there at the end of September and had to wait. The prices are reasonable.

01/10/2025: Like all the beach clubs in Torre Lapillo, it's quite crowded, and therefore has its share of problems. These include the limited but clean facilities and the long wait times. The spacing between the umbrellas is tight, though apparently slightly better than at the nearby beach clubs. There's a decent self-service restaurant and excellent pizza at mid-range prices, so there are plenty of options for a bite to eat. Beach club prices are €20-25 + parking, but you can also park in the side streets across the road. The beach is the best in Lapillo.
