08/05/2025: We went for Easter lunch, the place looks really good, very clean and well furnished. The staff were friendly and you can immediately see that it is a classy place with more than 100 wines available at prices ranging from €20 to over €1000 per bottle. Unfortunately the portions of the food, which is truly excellent, are not generous, let's say almost enough to taste. They also have a fixed price tasting menu, we went à la carte. The desserts are very good but with prices much above average.

06/05/2025: Charming restaurant with a warm and pleasant atmosphere. The dishes are carefully prepared and absolutely delicious. The wine list is extensive and well curated, perfectly complementing the overall experience. A visit that is truly worth it!

Fast and very courteous service. NOT TO BE MISSED, WHETHER YOU ARE IN THE AREA OR NOT. It is really worth a detour. Two appetizers, first course, second course, side dish, water/wine... 13 euros per person.

Ottimo il vitello tonnato come antipasto, ma ancora più buoni i primi: gnocchi alle ortiche con formaggio ble e ravioles della Val Varaita. Piatti serviti caldi e abbondanti. Consiglio vivamente.

06/04/2025: I was able to enjoy a white chocolate crêpe with kiss of dama ice cream (taste of a local specialty). Delicious. The ice cream is also very good and there are many flavors to choose from. There are places inside the restaurant to sit and eat or, weather permitting, there is a quiet square with benches. The lady who served us was very kind and smiling, but there were also other staff when more customers came in so I imagine the waiting time was never too long.

It's best to make a reservation to get a table. We didn't have a reservation, we were seated at the counter in front of the open kitchen. A cool experience to see the work of the dishes live. The polenta to test EXTRA, Quality and flavor of the dishes. The Piedmont hazelnut dessert is a wonderful, delicious discovery! We recommend! ☀️

06/04/2025: An evening of romance and good food. Last night my husband gave me a surprise: very perfect!!! The San Pietro restaurant in the pedestrian area of ​​Limone has always been a must for those who want to dine (or have lunch) in a restaurant with an elegant and old-fashioned setting. The tables, rigorously round, are arranged in such a way as to guarantee the privacy of the guests. In the center you can admire a large wooden table on which stands, among other things, an exceptional display of cheeses. We were sitting next to the fireplace. Truly superb menu. I have celiac disease and a lot of attention was paid to me: fassona meat marinated with herbs, crumbled egg yolk and sweet and sour onion. The meat is very tender, tasty and not at all salty. My husband enjoyed a very soft lamb paté (at room temperature and not frozen as often happens) with brioche bread and caramelized onions. Applause-worthy first courses: for me risotto with sausage, Barolo and goat's blue cheese. Perfect cooking and delicate flavor despite the tasty ingredients. For my husband, an extraordinary tagliatelle filled with wild boar stew: a unique flavour, unparalleled softness and, to conclude, the owner of the restaurant delighted us - in every sense - with a soft zabaglione expertly prepared in front of us! Truly a huge round of applause to the chef and his team for giving us a wonderful evening! See you soon

04/05/2025: Abbiamo soggiornato con amici per tre giorni ad Alba per uno stage di tennis durante il ponte del primo maggio e abbiamo sempre pranzato nella gastronomia urbana. Assoluta qualità delle materie prime e prodotti eccellenti. Marito cuoco e moglie al banco gestiscono questo locale in modo ammirevole, coadiuvati da personale altrettanto valido, i diversi piatti degustati durante i vari pasti hanno pienamente soddisfatto le nostre esigenze.
