Baita Monte Pigna In Roccaforte mondovì

Very tasty food, but inattentive staff.

I went to this restaurant for dinner, just steps from Piazza delle Erbe, and had a great experience. The place is very well-maintained, with attention to detail without being overly formal; the atmosphere is quiet and pleasant. I had the ravioli with stew and found them truly delicious (I would have preferred a couple more on the plate). The sardines in saor were superbly balanced; the crusty bread was truly generous. The quality of the ingredients was excellent. Overall, a great experience: the food is good, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant. It's one of those places you'll want to return to more than once.

Very nice location in the heart of the historic center. Service was average. The food needs improvement. The price is high for the quality. My calamarata was definitely too salty. The other diners' dishes were good, but nothing that would make you say, "Wow, I'll be back." The wine markup is exorbitant.

Really nicely decorated place and amazing pasta :-) we had great time there.

Superb local spot, off the beaten track, delicious food, friendly and attentive service, a good wine list, and great value for money. We'll be back!

We found this place on the TheFork app, which listed "TRATTORIA la Pigna" as a place for around €30 per person. This is the only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars (if I could choose 4.5 I would) due to the expectations. However, what we ate far exceeded the 5-star rating! From the starter (pictured) to the dessert, everything was delicious! Knowing that you won't be spending a fortune, if you have the opportunity, I recommend stopping by. I think it's a must-try.

Excellent meat, wine, and a superb tiramisu. I highly recommend it.

The place wasn't to my taste, we ate downstairs, there was no ventilation, candlelight wasn't appreciated, the first course was good but the portion was definitely too small.

Honestly, everything is great. No other comment.
