03/02/2026: 10/10, not just 5 stars. This is absolutely not to disparage all the bakeries in the neighborhood; it's not them that are lacking, but Aldo's Bakery, which is on a whole other level. I could give it 10/10 for value for money, but even if the prices weren't that low, I'd choose them even if I wasn't rolling in gold. The staff is super friendly and attentive to the myriad needs of the customer: I get the pizza cut to the exact millimeter that my head calls "perfect," moving the knife twenty times. They're great at accommodating a thousand different diets, from vegetarian to vegan, and so on. Even the younger staff are extremely knowledgeable about every pizza flavor and ingredient. The place is also aesthetically pleasing and well-kept. I recommend going in the morning, as there's plenty to choose from, but I happened to go in the evening, where there are fewer options, with a friend of mine from Mantua who I'd talked about it a lot. (We HAD to visit this part of Turin too (we took the metro just to get to your place 20 minutes before the Flixbus left, I swear) and, being a former vegan, he was intrigued by the focaccia filled with plant-based cheese, which turned out to be amazing. The usual review phrase: "I'll definitely be back"—literally, the Aldo's Bakery staff. See you next Tuesday, like every Tuesday ;)

16/03/2026: While skiing the Vialattea slopes in Sestriere, we noticed this charming little chalet along a beautiful blue run, surrounded by nature and with a stunning view of the surrounding mountains. We only stopped for a sweet treat, but I assure you, as others have said, they also serve excellent lunches with local dishes. We immediately noticed the friendliness and warmth of all the staff, from the manager at the cash register to the bar staff, to the charming waiter with whom we exchanged a few jokes and laughs. As for the bombardino and hot chocolate, they were truly TOP, as for everything else, go and try it...🤙😉 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ E.

12/03/2026: I contacted the owner at 9:00 a.m. to reserve 30 seats on the terrace for lunch that same day. There were no problems at all, and I must commend the owner's friendliness, as well as that of the cooks and waitresses who do their best to speak French. The polenta is excellent. Thank you all from a Toulouse ski club (TCMS).

08/03/2026: Great meal and wine. Chose the vegetarian set menu. Very good quality. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The decor in the basement room was different but quite quirky.

08/03/2026: The best vitello tonnato I've had in Turin! I recommend it especially to those who find it too heavy, because at La Badessa it will be a light memory that you'll take home with you as much as the wonderful piazza in which it's located. I also recommend the knife-cut tartare and the zabaglione. All washed down, of course, with a glass of excellent Barbera. The prices are absolutely in line with the quality, and not least with the friendly service. Finally, the amaro della Badessa, herbs and flowers, is a must-try. We'll see you again soon.

09/03/2026: A small, quiet place with really good pizza, just the way I like it—flat and crispy. They have a variety of burgers, which I'll try next time because my partner's bite was delicious. I highly recommend them.

17/03/2026: Very good food and really friendly Staff! We booked ahead and got a really nice table. We had 3 Courses and wine and pair around 150€ for 3 people. It was really worth it. I highly recommend. Also well suited for large groups. The deserts are also really nice.

17/02/2026: We returned to the restaurant, and I'll reiterate what I'd already said. They're friendly and make you feel at ease right away. The first courses are excellent, as are the second courses. Don't miss out on dessert. Good value for money. Nice selection of wines. I recommend it.

I had the pizza of the month, it was fabulous with cherry tomatoes, asparagus sauce, grilled speck, slow-cooked calamari, basil, toasted almonds, and a whole-grain dough. What can I say...you can't find a gourmet pizza like this everywhere. I was also pleased with the very chic service and the pizza, the kitchen, the pizza chef right there in front of everyone, and impeccably clean!! I was satisfied, I will definitely be back!!!
