15/03/2026: What a fantastic restaurant. Excellent home-cooked local recipes, with a friendly staff that made us feel like we were home. We loved everything, but definitely have the agnolotti. We tried several others during our stay in Turin, and Taverna’s was head and shoulders above all the rest.

12/06/2026: I stopped by here during my passagiata in the quadrilatero Romano neighborhood. The drink are very creative! When I expressed hesitation, the server convinced me to try a drink with grappa and lemongrass. Who would have thought I would like a grappa drink with lemongrass?? (Shows you how creative and well executed the drinks are!) Great atmosphere and very kind staff.

05/05/2026: A quick lunch stop in Alba. Welcoming atmosphere, refined ambiance, and impeccable service. I tried the seasonal dish of gratinated asparagus with poached egg, béarnaise sauce, and white truffle—really interesting! Paired with a Nebbiolo from the Langhe (I would have recommended a sparkling wine, but unfortunately it wasn't available by the glass). Reasonably priced. Recommended, I'd definitely go back!

The bill included:
2 veal with tuna sauce
1 tajarin with ragù
1 caramelized braised beef
2 desserts
1 water
1 wine (€28)
1 coffee
2 covers
The wait staff was prompt, friendly, and always available. The sommelier assisted us with our wine selection, which turned out to be absolutely spot-on.
The cover charge included excellent quality breadsticks and artisanal focaccia.
We are completely satisfied with the service provided and believe the cost of the lunch is reasonable. Highly recommended.

21/05/2026: Truly everything was excellent. Dishes were thoughtfully crafted and balanced, with flavors that weren't too ordinary (but perhaps that's the beauty of it). Tony undoubtedly knows how to give a dish that extra kick, turning it from just a dish to an experience.
We'll be back.

11/05/2026: Very good ice cream, the best I've ever had, the staff is friendly and welcoming. In the winter, you can order hot chocolate with whipped cream, and in the summer, fruit with ice cream or granita!

09/04/2026: Easter Monday lunch with a truly excellent set menu. My wife doesn't like the lungua in salsa verde, and the very kind owner promptly offered to change part of the appetizer. The agnolotti were delicious, and the fried lamb was a pleasant surprise. Highly recommended.
07/04/2026: It's not just a simple restaurant, but a true experience of Piedmontese flavors, aromas, and atmosphere. The place is small but very welcoming, and the young, dynamic, and knowledgeable staff is classy. It deserves at least 1... 2... 5... 10 visits.

02/06/2026: Excellent pizza with niche ingredients. The dough stays soft and not heavy on the palate. Easy to access, the minimalist, industrial atmosphere provides excellent, courteous, and friendly service. Affordable prices, and you can dine outside. Takeout is also available. I'll be back because I saw a delicious fried fish dish worth trying. Parking is available.
