03/10/2025: The food here is truly excellent! The menu is limited, but what's on it is prepared to perfection. Everyone knows about it, so reservations are definitely necessary, but it's definitely worth it.

26/10/2025: Of the restaurants I visited during my food and wine trip to Valtellina, I'd rate this one first. The location is exceptional, with a terrace overlooking the valley (it's a shame it rained), but despite this, the interior is also beautifully decorated, with a large window overlooking the valley. The dishes were excellent (the slow-cooked pork cheek was like butter). The wine list was fantastic. The service was professional and worthy of the setting.

01/11/2025: I went for a conscripts' party. The staff was very kind and patient even though we got up very late! The sciatt and the sliced ​​meat were delicious.

High-quality ingredients, from the excellent homemade cured meats to the first courses with the aroma of mushrooms and mountain herbs, excellent wine, excellent meat, and finally, a Taneda...Marino and Silvano are very kind...

05/10/2025: Beautiful restaurant in a small village; very unique cuisine, vegetarian, Japanese/Valtellina. Truly a 5-star dining experience not to be missed! P.S. The only small flaw is the lighting, which could be improved in my opinion; it's too bright and not warm enough. Otherwise, hats off, an unforgettable dinner!

Persief is a restaurant that captivates from the first moment with its cozy and intimate atmosphere, just six tables for service that is meticulously curated and never distracting. The dishes are a surprising journey: radiant and bold flavors, showcasing the finest ingredients with original yet balanced pairings. The menu offers three different tasting menus, each with its own distinct identity. We chose to pair them with a truly excellent wine tasting, perfectly balanced with each course. The staff is friendly, attentive, and personable: unpretentious, yet extremely professional. You feel welcomed naturally, like at home, yet pampered with a level of care that only great restaurants can offer. A memorable gastronomic experience, highly recommended to anyone seeking something unique in Livigno.

02/09/2025: A wonderful experience in a very characteristic village just a stone's throw from Bormio. The staff were immediately very kind; having a baby in a stroller, they immediately put us at ease by letting us choose where to sit. The service was impeccable; I'm a wine lover, so I let myself be guided in choosing three glasses, drinking alone—excellent wines. As for the food, nothing to complain about: refined dishes, exciting and authentic flavors! My only disappointment was discovering them at the end of the holiday 😅 Next year, I'll be booking at least 2-3 lunches! Highly recommended 😆

30/09/2025: I went for lunch with two friends on Sunday, September 21st. We ate wonderfully. The appetizer was superb, the blueberry risotto was FABULOUS. The prices are reasonable. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was professional and attentive. We'll be back soon.

06/10/2025: The best cakes in Valtellina. Various flavors available, but my favorite is the blueberry one.

05/10/2025: The buckwheat cake with raspberry jam is really good. The only downside is the wait; once inside, they don't respect the line anymore.

14/10/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant last weekend. The staff was very friendly and helpful; they managed to find us a seat even though we hadn't booked. Once they take your order, they offer you a delicious house entree. The dishes are well-prepared, delicious, and at a great price. To finish, they offered us a house liqueur. If I'm ever near Livigno again, I'll definitely be happy to return (with a reservation this time! 😜)

04/11/2025: We were invited by our son and daughter-in-law. We ordered à la carte dishes, and both the blueberry fettuccine and pizzoccheri were well-presented, good quality, and plentiful. We also enjoyed both the tagliata and the roast beef on the business menu. The sciatt was also excellent. The use of their genuine homemade cheeses, produced by their countless cows grazing on the mountain pastures, certainly made the difference. We had a great time, perhaps also thanks to the kindness of the mother owner and her son David. The restaurant is beautifully renovated, spacious, with exposed woodwork and bright lighting; this time I was able to appreciate it in a different light.

12/10/2025: Beautiful castle ruins. Sweeping views of the valley. Normally free to visit. As an English speaker, I was annoyed/surprised that it costs €3 on FAI Day, even though you can't take the guided tour. I recommend that all non-Italian speakers come on a normal day, or learn Italian and then take the guided tour for €3. ☺️🙃

01/09/2025: Castle with well-preserved ruins and a splendid view of the Valtellina valley and the surrounding vineyards. A recommended stop for a lovely afternoon in a FAI heritage site. The restaurant (closed when we visited) features a wonderful vine-covered pergola.

Our experience here was nothing short of extraordinary, thanks above all to a cuisine that showcases the local flavors with authenticity and mastery. The highlight, without a doubt, are the traditional dishes: the sciatt were crispy and golden, with a melt-in-the-mouth melting cheese center, while the pizzoccheri were expertly prepared, rich and flavorful, a true embrace on the palate. But what amazed us even more was the variety and quality of an extraordinary first course, a "trio" of tastings that allowed us to savor several local specialties in a single dish. Each bite was a discovery, an explosion of flavors that left us speechless. ​Everything is made even more special by the breathtaking setting: the agriturismo is beautifully nestled among vineyards, with a breathtaking panoramic view. Dining here is not only a pleasure for the palate, but also a feast for the eyes, an experience that combines taste with the enchantment of the landscape. ​Agriturismo Miarèscia is a place I highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic Valtellina experience, filled with authentic flavors and enchanting views. We'll definitely be back!

The girls are very kind and attentive to all the customers and I would like to add that the prices are more than fair for what we ate! Very nice place, and what can I say... Definitely highly recommended!!!

05/10/2025: Very nice place and it looked very promising, but they don't know how to make pasta with venison ragù... it wasn't at all salty and almost sweet, we had a hard time finishing it. I'm sorry because we left feeling disappointed and sad.
