24/09/2025: Poor quality/quantity, €3 for two measly scoops, even when it comes to gelato, the wealthy shopkeepers have become stingy. From the reviews describing it as the best gelato in Milan, it's clear: Either they're relatives Or anything that resembles gelato Or they eat it for free. I don't want to advertise, but for those who truly want a sensory-taste experience, after 35 years in the city and as a connoisseur, I'd like to point out that the best gelato is Massimo's, located in the Corso Sempione area, at Via L. Castelvetro 18. He's also tight-fisted, but his product is sublime. Highly recommended, even for expert gelato buffs. 😋 SLURP YUM

13/09/2025: I've had delicious ice cream at Elio's twice. The prices are reasonable for Milan (€4 for three flavors), and the owner is very friendly. The pistachio ice cream was fantastic, and all the other flavors I had were also very good (Bacio, Nocciola).

12/04/2026: Maison Café is family-run, and you can tell because the owners welcome you as if you were at home, with professionalism and kindness. The croissants, tomato focaccias, and pizzas baked by Beppe are excellent, as are the Milanese cutlets, goulash, and many other dishes cooked by Mamma Rosa, with the menu changing daily. Their panzerotti are spectacular! The only bar in the area open on Sundays, it also serves tobacco, and is frequented primarily by regulars and loyal customers. Excellent value, definitely worth a try!

12/04/2026: Scugnizielli TOP! The crema catalana and ice cream were AMAZING!!! The cheesecake was also very good! The pizza was good, but the sausages were low-quality and flavorless. The dough was soft and easy to digest, and the fries were very good and plentiful. Some ingredients were of medium-high quality, but others were low-quality... and all of this doesn't justify the rather high prices... A note of SUPER MERIT for the frittatina: more than warm, I'd say lukewarm... but REALLY EXCELLENT and made with quality ingredients, even though I prefer traditional fried food to batter! The cheesecake base was good, but I left the pistachio topping because, besides not having a pistachio flavor, it was acidic... maybe it had gone bad?! I don't know, but I removed it and left it on the plate. The color and consistency were also quite strange... The service was inattentive, slow, and imprecise. It's better outside, I don't know why but they don't have air conditioning... absurd. The chocolate cheesecake wasn't bad, but it was more like a Kinder Fette al latte: good, but it wasn't cheesecake... The cover bread was very good! But the revisited carbonara was a complete no-no... not really up to par...the portion was small, the pasta was so overcooked it broke, and it was more like pasta with omelette... quite expensive... I returned after a long time and was pleasantly surprised. The prices weren't exactly cheap...a ​​little expensive, but at least the products were very good, well-cooked and presented (the mortadella less so). Only the mortadella didn't smell great and wasn't very tasty... I wasn't crazy about the fritto misto because it was basically all vegetables... But the scugnizzelli were delicious, they just had too much oil... The pizza was good, and sweet too! The cheesecake was excellent!!! Special mention for the ricotta, which was really very tasty! Service is sometimes fast, sometimes slow...at a certain point you're forgotten even though there aren't a lot of people...but the staff is courteous and helpful. NEGATIVE NOTE: It was scorching hot, or there was no air conditioning, or it was broken, or it was low, I don't know, but it's very bad...and that forces me to lower the rating.

18/03/2026: We had a pizza with a ricotta crust, and it was truly awful—moist and soft, with very little mozzarella, and the ricotta was outside the crust. The burgers were also nothing special. I don't think we'll be back.

02/04/2026: Five small pizzas for €3.40, too much for the taste... Homemade ones are much better. It's a shame because the quality has dropped dramatically.

19/01/2026: Friendly, attentive staff. Good, tasty products. Prices are appropriate for the setting.

23/04/2026: A decidedly disappointing experience, especially given the staff's attitude. I simply ask if it's possible to get a receipt first, and I get a snort. I try to pay by card, but the transaction fails; I try again, with the same result, while the attitude becomes increasingly impatient, as if the problem were my fault. At that point, I ask if it's possible to pay in cash, but I'm told the POS has already been activated. I understand there are procedures to follow, and I have no complaints about that. The problem, however, isn't the POS: it's the way the situation is handled. After further attempts, the payment finally goes through, but in a less than pleasant atmosphere. I understand that there can be stressful moments, but a little courtesy would really make a difference. A smile costs nothing. The gelato, besides, isn't anything special enough to make you want to come back.

11/07/2025: Something's wrong. Until a few years ago, this was a real competitor to panino giusto, and now it seems like a run-down place. We went for a sandwich at 8:50 on a Thursday night. We were the only customers, and they barely got us seated with a rude "we close at 10:00." At this point, no one told us that the kitchen was already closed, and we couldn't eat anything cooked (and we didn't have the heart to leave, having already ordered drinks). It's truly out of this world not to be able to have dinner at 8:50, with only three customers, and fries in a sandwich shop. If this is the way things are going this evening, it's obvious there aren't any customers!
