10/05/2026: Not even one star, to be honest. Terrible service. Ordered birthday cakes. More than 10 days in advance. They started delaying the delivery time 2 days before. The day of the party, the cakes were supposed to be delivered at 2 PM. They were finally ready at 7:30 PM. Then we were treated like a fool because they made us go every 15 minutes, saying they were ready. And in the end, they just started making them. So, a birthday party without cakes, thanks to them.
19/04/2026: I had a great aperitif and highly recommend this place. The staff was excellent, and Daniele was truly kind and welcoming! Top quality!

28/04/2026: Found this local gem while walking between La Dársena and Porta Genova. I stumbled upon this spot, which was buzzing with locals enjoying coffee and snacks—always a good sign!
Even though I don't speak much Italian, the waiter was incredibly patient and asked, "Vuoi mangiare?" (Do you want to eat?). He took the time to explain the menu to me, and I settled on the sea urchin pasta with a glass of crispy white wine.
it was a world-class lunch in a casual street setting.
It was a moment!
11/04/2026: If you walk into a pastry shop and ask for a chocolate cream puff and without batting an eyelid they give you a cream puff with Nutella inside (thinking it's the same thing), it means you haven't walked into a pastry shop but into a pastry shop cosplayer.

12/04/2026: Maison Café is family-run, and you can tell because the owners welcome you as if you were at home, with professionalism and kindness. The croissants, tomato focaccias, and pizzas baked by Beppe are excellent, as are the Milanese cutlets, goulash, and many other dishes cooked by Mamma Rosa, with the menu changing daily. Their panzerotti are spectacular!
The only bar in the area open on Sundays, it also serves tobacco, and is frequented primarily by regulars and loyal customers. Excellent value, definitely worth a try!

The staff is very friendly and quick to serve, and the owners, who are very knowledgeable, are the strength of this place. They are incredibly friendly and professional, making every customer feel at home here.
I recommend trying the burger made with their exclusive recipe: the best in Milan.

24/09/2025: Poor quality/quantity, €3 for two measly scoops, even when it comes to gelato, the wealthy shopkeepers have become stingy.
From the reviews describing it as the best gelato in Milan, it's clear:
Either they're relatives
Or anything that resembles gelato
Or they eat it for free.
I don't want to advertise, but for those who truly want a sensory-taste experience, after 35 years in the city and as a connoisseur, I'd like to point out that the best gelato is Massimo's, located in the Corso Sempione area, at Via L. Castelvetro 18. He's also tight-fisted, but his product is sublime. Highly recommended, even for expert gelato buffs.

13/09/2025: I've had delicious ice cream at Elio's twice. The prices are reasonable for Milan (€4 for three flavors), and the owner is very friendly. The pistachio ice cream was fantastic, and all the other flavors I had were also very good (Bacio, Nocciola).

06/12/2025: Came here a week ago with my other half visiting a native of Rho. Such a nice place, the owner and her brother were so nice. The cakes and bread all looked lovely and tasted even better. I'd recommend the choclate cake with pears, yummy, and the cornbread which the lade gave me to try. The coffee was great too. I wish I had a cafe / bakery like this in central London, but I can only dream. Grazie
