31/12/2025: We were a group of 4 and had an amazing experience at Bentoteca Milano. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. Would highly recommend to anyone.

28/12/2025: We went for dinner and tried the omakase menu. The service was excellent, but the atmosphere was a bit noisy; we sat at standard tables so we could easily get along. The chef's offerings brought European, especially French, influences to Japanese cuisine. The most memorable dish was definitely the wagyu soup topped with a pâte feuilletée, which is usually served with French onion soup. The menu was enjoyable, although both my partner and I found it a bit heavy, due to the rich, French-influenced broths and sauces. We enjoyed the exploration, but the flavors weren't always to our liking, perhaps expecting something lighter after trying other omakase in the past. The seasonal vegetable salad deserves a special mention, as it lightened up the menu between courses. I would return to try some of the dishes I saw arriving at the adjacent tables, such as the shank, bento, or tongue sando. It's a shame they didn't let us try their Basque cheesecake, but that's part of the omakase experience. Great respect for the chef and his work.

Plus, the pizza chef makes the wait part of the experience: while he prepares the pizzas, he talks passionately about philosophy, mythology, cinema, motorcycles, pop culture, and a thousand other topics. He's an interesting and pleasant person to chat with. You can sense a real passion here, and not just for pizza.

19/08/2026: Incompetent. Ordered a San Francisco piadina from their tablet. I removed the cheese because I'm intolerant, but it was still inside. The quality of the ingredients was appalling.

20/07/2026: I'll start by saying that I took three piadinas to go and a drink at the time of delivery. The girl gives me three packets and a bottle in my hand. I ask her if you could kindly put them in a bag for me and the girl replies that they deliver them like that, naturally, without even a napkin. If you think this is a service, the bag that she didn't have or didn't want to give is fine, but not even a napkin.

25/07/2026: We chose well. -Welcome focaccia -The mixed seafood appetizer was fresh and plentiful. You can season it as you like and taste the freshness of the fish, accompanied by homemade bread. -Spaghetti with clams, cherry tomatoes, and bottarga. It was so much seafood, and the addition of bottarga really made the dish stand out. It was so plentiful and delicious, truly satisfying. -Delicious tiramisu. -The welcome and service were impeccable, everyone was courteous and professional. I'll be back to try the pizza or the fritto misto. Congratulations, you really made me say, "I'm full and satisfied."

13/05/2026: What are we talking about?! When I think of Italian Mediterranean cuisine, my mind goes to CARMEN restaurant/pizzeria! The family atmosphere is unlike any other, and modestly speaking, I've been to hundreds of restaurants for work. The quality of the products is excellent, the dishes are plentiful, the prices are accessible to everyone, and the service is always attentive even when the dining room is full. Nothing is left to chance. Armando, the owner, is an incredible entrepreneur, but above all, from a human perspective, he's a rare person to find, qualities that can also be found in his family members who work in the restaurant. I rarely write reviews, but I'm writing this one from the heart, mind, and above all, gut (😂) because these people deserve the best in professional success, just like those who have the honor of eating in their super restaurant!
