I found the sandwiches and the wide selection to be really good. There's a good turnover and it's often crowded.
30/11/2025: It looks almost good, but the memory is more than bad. The aperitif was average at the time, but after a couple of hours, you're left with sour burps and the need to hydrate yourself. It's a shame, the place is very nice, but they've definitely downgraded the quality of the service and food. It's enough to make you feel sick.

07/09/2025: Strategic location with a view of Lake Lugano.... We ate good ice cream and the girl who serves it was nice and smiling, a small cone €3 and you're there... Because even in the towns near Varese with a view of the wall you pay more for ice cream, so excellent price considering you are in front of Switzerland... See you soon 🤗

25/10/2025: Our tour, organized by the food manager, took us to this charming spot in the heart of the lower valley. A restaurant harking back to feudal times, adorned with sabers and crossbows. The menu is endless, and we opted for pizzas. The only flaw was that we weren't able to extract the famous Excalibur from the rock, located at the restaurant's entrance. Now we return to the castle. Peace reigns supreme. The seatbelt looks like the sash of the mayor I never was... Until the next adventure!

22/11/2025: Excellent breakfast bar, very close to Bocconi University in Milan.
I really enjoyed the buttery croissant (it tastes like a French croissant): the pastry is really soft, and the hazelnut spread is also delicious.
The prices aren't excessive, a truly excellent option.
09/11/2025: A place full of interesting objects from other eras, a wide selection of food, and I'd say that's its strong point. In my opinion, it still needs to find its personality... Recommended.

Those Neapolitan-flavored ones are pure marketing compared to this.
29/10/2025: what a great find while I wait for my partner to return from a meeting. The pastries are truly delicious and fresh. I only tried what looked like a rolled pastry with the filling and it hit the spot. I also ordered an americano coffee and they give you the water so you can decide how strong you want it. Perfect. Now if my husband would only hurry up and finish his meeting we can go sightseeing. So cheap two pastries and coffee was €5.

26/06/2025: Ieri mattina siamo tornati, ancora una volta, qui per una pausa caffè mattutina e, come altre volte, abbiamo fatto acquisti per il pranzo di mezzogiorno.
Questa volta degli ottimi wrap contenenti nell'impasto anche dell'alga spirulina e farciti con salmone affumicato, avocado, rucola. Poi anche dell'insalata greca con cetrioli, formaggio feta, peperoni verdi, insalata, pomodorini.
Tutto molto buono, come sempre.
09/05/2025: Ancora una volta mi sono fermato per una pausa caffè assieme, a mia moglie e a una nostra amica, e ancora una volta mi sono lasciato tentare dalle ottime proposte offerte da asporto.
Come altre volte abbiamo comperato l'eccellente panino (di pane contenente carbone vegetale commestibile che gli conferisce il caratteristico colore nero) farcito con salmone affumicato, avocado, formaggio brie e insalata, che abbiamo poi condiviso a casa.
Ottimo, come sempre!

30/11/2025: I'd call it an Asian restaurant, with good, freshly prepared food (not the usual all-you-can-eat options), generous portions, and a super friendly hostess. Highly recommended.

08/11/2025: We came in early in the morning to ask for a tray of pastries. We were completely ignored. We stopped at the pastry counter, and the girls, without even saying hello or asking if we needed anything, continued to serve and charge coffee to people who had arrived after us. After about 20 minutes, one of the girls deigns to speak to us (without even saying hello and only because she had to wrap a package of pastries right there for someone who had entered ANYWAY after us), asking if we wanted some pastries.
The atmosphere is definitely not the best; I found it dirty and messy even that early in the morning.
I'll definitely think twice before going back.
07/11/2025: A beautifully renovated historic café with friendly, kind, and efficient staff. Ideal for breakfast and lunch. Recommended.

24/10/2025: I'M GIVING ONE STAR BECAUSE I CAN'T GIVE 0.
DEFINITELY THE WORST PIZZERIA IN MELZO.
ORDERED A PIZZA AT 11 AM FOR 12:30 PM.
ARRIVED AT 12:50 PM WITH A HAIR ON THE PIZZA.
I CALLED TO NOTIFY AND HAVE THE PIZZA REMADE, THE OWNER CALLED ME BACK TO SHOUT AND TELL ME "YOU'RE BRINGING OUT OF LUCK, EAT AND SHUT UP, YOU PIECE OF SHIT."
ALL THIS BECAUSE HE ARRIVED LATE AND I ASKED IF HE'D HAD AN ACCIDENT BECAUSE I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND THE 20 MINUTE DELAY GIVEN THAT IT ONLY TOOK 5 MINUTES TO ARRIVE.
I WILL NOTIFY THE RIGHT ENTITIES ABOUT THIS MATTER.
NEVER AGAIN.
SHAME!

21/10/2025: This is a nice, older style sort of coffee shop that doesn’t do flat whites but the more traditional espresso setups with a very simple, straight ford environment. Their collection of pastries is excellent and their service and friendliness is quite good.
22/09/2025: The people at Larky make you feel at home, but with extra pampering.
The cocktails are carefully crafted and excellent: syrups replaced with fresh fruit, and a wide selection of gins!
They accommodated my vegan diet by creating a bespoke aperitivo.
The omnivorous platter for the others was rich and fresh: cured meats, focaccia, olives... The plate was so full they struggled to finish it!
We sat in the outdoor corner and chatted for a long time in peace, with booths separating us from one of Milan's most renowned streets.
The atmosphere is guaranteed inside the venue as well.

bad reception.
22/11/2025: Super cute place, a little small, luckily it wasn't too crowded. The fruit-shaped desserts are amazing, I wanted to try them all! The strawberry I got was a little sweet for my taste, but the raspberry and pistachio ball was out of this world. This place is definitely worth a try!
