02/05/2025: BAD, very bad! We went for lunch on a day when there weren't many people; in fact, there were only a few tables occupied. Despite this, I was served a first course and only an appetizer (Goma Wakame) within 5 minutes of ordering, but then both I and my tablemates were served half an hour later, maybe even longer! It's unacceptable. All this for simple appetizers (I got the stuffed ravioli after half an hour, but for the following courses I had to wait another 10 minutes!). After the appetizers, we received some nigiri that to call COLD would be an understatement (in fact, they looked like they had just come out of the freezer). They were inedible. The rest was adequate/fair, some good. It's not the Shabu I remembered, unfortunately. Until a year ago, it was, in my opinion, the best AYCE in Varese, but after the latest experience, I had to change my mind. Terrible service and adequate quality (maybe not even that). €25 wasted. I hope it was a random disservice, but that was our experience. I'm ready to change my mind and leave a new, better review, but we definitely won't be returning anytime soon.

13/04/2025: This Japanese restaurant is one of my favorite places. The food is always excellent: authentic dishes, meticulously prepared with quality ingredients. The space is cozy, small but very comfortable, with an intimate atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and attentive, always with a smile. My favorite dish? Udon noodles, without a doubt—warm, filling, and perfectly flavorful. A true treat. It's the kind of place you'll want to return to, because you know it will never disappoint.

25/07/2026: I went to this place today because my girlfriend wanted to go. I didn't have a great experience because the photo of the food on the menu was different from the original dish (rice with chicken and curry sauce [313]). Instead, my girlfriend received cold toppings, like the egg in her noodles [206]. I also noticed that this place is segregated, putting Chinese people on the ground floor and non-Chinese people upstairs. One thing I've never seen is segregation, so I give this place a bad rating. (The cashier at the entrance wasn't very friendly and gave you a dirty look.)

23/07/2026: Special thanks to the waiter who, when asked "Why is this chicken black?", replied "I don't know," proudly bringing me the frozen bag of chicken slices, but without offering an answer as to why it was a typically un-chicken color. I'd love to attach a photo, but I can't do so right now.

06/07/2026: Service stopped in Ferno in 1986, a time of nothingness and Malpensa's expansion. All the three innkeepers are missing are their Alpine hats and their festival-style speeches! A huge thank you to one of them for explaining the difference between foamed milk and small ice cream: I'll spread the word. We need to make this staff understand that we're in Busto Arsizio, in 2026! 20 minutes for a small ice cream and two cookies at the counter is a bit too much! A great dive into the past... definitely not requested.

26/06/2026: The best pastry shop in Busto Arsizio. Excellent, high-quality products. The kindness of the staff makes the real difference. They always welcome you with a smile, making you feel pampered. I especially appreciate Sofia's kindness and her wonderful smile. A great place not only for breakfast or a simple work break, but also for a moment of serenity and sweetness.

11/06/2026: Worst airport ever. The staff are rude and unhelpful. It’s impossible to find a supervisor when you need help, and staff members refuse to give their names, making it difficult to file an official complaint. The toilets and lifts are broken. The only positive thing was the art exhibitions, but if you want to see art, you’re better off visiting a gallery than spending time at this airport

02/11/2025: Simple place, attentive service, good food. Excellent mussels, lightly fried, not greasy, cooked to perfection, elephant ear pasta unexpectedly well done. The French fries are superb. The only negative is the white wine, a bit acidic. Fair prices.

12/10/2025: Historic artisanal ice cream shop. The gourmet flavors stand out among the range: Casoncelli, saffron porcini mushrooms, Tropea red onion, salami, Scottish salmon, bottarga, foie gras, rhubarb, wasabi sauce, and many others emphasize its uniqueness.

26/09/2025: The gelateria is small and well-kept, with a few tables both inside and outside. The staff is friendly and helpful. The gelato is delicious, and I was very intrigued by the option to try special flavors like saffron, tomato and basil, gorgonzola, and salami (really interesting!). It's a shame the prices are truly outrageous: €8 for two cones of two flavors is unjustified.

11/06/2026: Finally, a family-friendly place where you can let your kids play under the watchful eye of kind, caring staff. They have a fully glassed-in children's area indoors, suitable for younger children, and an outdoor area with inflatables, suitable for older kids too. We loved the pizza, and so did our kids. The service was fast, attentive, and courteous.

02/06/2026: After 4 or 5 times without any particular problems, last night was a disaster: the mixed fried calamari and shrimp was inedible (sic!) and had an intruder that had nothing in common with the rest, it looked like a trilobite. The dish was taken away and offered something else: we accepted. Meanwhile, I was eating the grilled meat and felt a sting in my lip: it was a metal wire (brush bristle?) in the middle of the burger. I decided it was too much and we stood up. At the cashier, I asked for and received the bill: 2 covers (there were 4 of us), pizza, a quarter of wine, and 2 bottles of water.
