Here's what you need to know to plan your visit: The cuisine: The menu is a celebration of typical Lombard dishes. The tripe is exceptional, the cassoeula is expertly prepared, and the risotto with ossobuco is simply unmissable. The boiled meats and cotechino with lentils are also excellent, prepared according to tradition. The menu: During the week, you can enjoy a convenient and tasty buffet, including takeout (reservations are recommended), while on Saturdays, the menu expands to include a wide selection of traditional à la carte dishes. Essential tip: Reservations are required. It's a very popular place, and finding a table can be difficult, especially on Saturday nights, so book early! 08/06/2026: Unfortunately, I give the food 5 stars... "Unfortunately," because I would have given it 10! The staff was impeccable and attentive to all types of personalities, and the waiter who welcomed us and looked after us throughout the meal was incredibly friendly. I was truly impressed by their professionalism despite their young age (not that being young is necessarily a bad thing, but many of us are already lazy at 20!) The atmosphere is a 4 ⭐ because aesthetically, I think they could improve a bit. All in all, I really can't complain about anything at all. I can't wait to go back; you're all fantastic.

01/12/2025: Sublime, one of the best croissants I've ever eaten, I recommend it to everyone. The soft ricotta filling with chocolate chips is also excellent. Kudos to the pastry chefs.

26/04/2026: A decent place to lay your head, reasonably close to the station but far from centre or attractions. Room 103 really needs maintenance in the bathroom, mold is growing on the ceiling. Pillows hard as stone and too flat -- hotels should consider always having two pillows per person, it doesn't cost much. Checkin smooth and simple so that's a plus. Remember that there won't necessarily be anyone on site, so leave your bags at the station for 5 EUR until you can check in.

07/06/2026: We love to always eat delicious and local food. This was truly the best place for us. Probably partners running a restaurant together. No crazy dishes, just tasty food. We were welcomed very hospitably and had the choice of eating inside or outside. In any case, we were well taken care of. Definitely recommended for a meal at this lovely couple's place.

14/05/2026: I started with the pasta with meatballs (nonna style) and followed that with the Milanese schnitzel. The only word I can use to describe them? Perfect! Pair these with the house wine (red, especially) and you can’t go wrong. And the atmosphere is even better. Nothing fancy. No pretense. Because they don’t need it. The food speaks for itself.

05/03/2026: A disappointing experience with a hefty bill at this aesthetically welcoming refuge nestled in a picturesque setting. While the landscape and snow created a pleasant atmosphere, the same couldn't be said for the dishes we ordered. The Sciatt lacked the cheese flavor, as did the taragna polenta, the ribs had a sweetish sauce, and the slimy mushrooms. Besides being seated at a large shared table, which perhaps not everyone enjoys, the bill, approximately €83, left us with a bitter taste.

04/06/2026: They weren't courteous, and as a barista in Italy, I can't consider this a good cappuccino. The milk was frothed several times before serving and wasn't properly oxygenated. Also, the glass was empty.
