We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food here. It was very crowded, which made the whole experience even more authentic. It felt like a typical local place where you can get something to eat. Highly recommended.

Historic café in the heart of Milan, perfect for breakfast or a sweet treat. The elegant and refined setting has a truly special feel to it, with a timeless atmosphere. The place is neat and clean, there's a nice little dining room, but the problem is the food. Nothing memorable, but it's only convenient if you're strolling along the main street and want to stop right away. Otherwise, there are other places in the area, like Pave, that are more worthy.

I think the focaccia is made on-site. It was very soft and fresh. The coffee is also good, but there are a lot of people at the counter which makes the service a little confusing, but it wasn't a problem.

Absolutely beautiful place with tasty pastry and delicious coffee. I was enjoying feeling it’s atmosphere, how locals drink their morning coffee right at the counter, and Bernie who made cute designs on coffee :)

Caffé Carducci

13/12/2025: GLUTEN-FREE OPTIONS! Caffe Carducci offers gluten-free sandwiches (also available for takeout) and gluten-free dishes, as well as side dishes and main courses (chicken, rice, various side dishes, veggie burgers, etc.). The staff is friendly, helpful, and super friendly. The place is quite spacious, and the prices are excellent. Caffe Carducci is just steps from the Catholic University, the Basilica of Sant'Ambrogio, and the blue (M4) and green (M2) metro lines. A must-visit if you're in the area!
21/11/2025: I've been going to Caffè Carducci with my classmates since the beginning of my undergraduate degree, and now that I'm in my first year of my master's degree, it's still our regular spot. The dishes are truly mouth-watering. Marco, Grazia, and Alberto are always super kind, friendly, and helpful. Highly recommended for university lunch breaks, breakfasts, snacks, and aperitifs!
