04/11/2024: It was a true gastronomic experience, the owner guided us on this journey with a surprise menu (4, 5 or 6 courses of your choice) in which we were amazed. Very refined raw materials, the difference is made by the attention put into the preparation of each dish and in the relationship with customers which is very close given the intimacy of the restaurant. Possibility to choose 1 wine tasting paired with each course, or even 1 bottle. The price is in line with expectations given the refinement of the dishes. I would definitely recommend it to anyone passing through Montefiascone and who loves quality slow food.

30/11/2024: Ci siamo sposati al Poggio della Guardia il 7 settembre. È una location meravigliosa che ci ha conquistati fin da quando l’abbiamo vista, ma soprattutto è stato un ricevimento di matrimonio in un ambiente familiare e amichevole grazie a Daniela, Maria Elena e a tutto il personale. Uno stile bellissimo, un giardino e una sala super curati e una cucina buonissima. Tutti gli invitati sono rimasti felicissimi del cibo e della location senza nessuna lamentala.

An assortment of buffet starters that has no equal in terms of variety of ingredients and preparations. Top notch cured meats and cheeses. Wide selection of wines and shop to purchase the farm's products. We would need a buffet-only menu proposal to be able to enjoy it all!! Highly recommended, a reason to return to the area!

22/11/2024: Weekend passato nel borgo di Vitorchiano. Locale piccolino ma caratteristico. Personale gentile e cordiale. Attrezzati per il senza glutine. Porzioni abbondanti. Tagliere medio con affettati, formaggi di cui uno al tartufo, bruschette con crema di peperoni, ceci con aceto balsamico, fagioli cannellini con tartufo, nervetti al limone, tortito al tartufo. Porzione senza glutine a parte per evitare contaminazioni. necessità di avere anche fette di pane senza glutine. A seguire abbiamo ordinato un caciocavallo fritto con farina di mais radicchio stufato e miele (non possibile senza glutine). Come primo un risotto alla zucca e polvere di liquirizia (sapore molto particolare), pappardella al cinghiale. Successivamente una porzione di guanciolo di manzo al barolo e castagne. Tutto molto ben fatto, carne tenera. Piatti ben conditi. Prezzo onesto. L'unica pecca è che effettuano due turni il primo dalle 12 e il secondo turno dalle 14. Bagno molto piccolino. Se capitate nelle zone di Vitorchiano consiglio questo locale.

20/11/2024: Locale da caratteristica fiaschetteria, senza troppi fronzoli ma con cibo di ottima fattura, per qualità, per abbondanza e per presentazione. Utilizzo di molti prodotti locali che sono garanzia di freschezza e genuinità. Eccellente l'accoglienza da parte del personale. Ottimo il prezzo. Unico neo il dover adeguare la consumazione del pasto rispettando l'orario del turno scelto alla prenotazione (due turni: 12.15 e 14.00) ma ne vale comunque la pena.

18/12/2024: It was Saturday evening, it was raining, it was cold and few businesses were still open in Sutri, we followed the signs, following a small road that took us to the inn which from the outside also looked closed; only upon entering did the beauty of the inn open up to us, from the lit fireplace, where we stayed for a while to warm up, to all the characteristics of this place that welcomed us like a home; we ate well, spent the right amount on average, we relaxed, we had a good time, that's what counts. When possible, we will definitely return.
