12/03/2026: Great espresso bar, perfect for breakfast and an after work cocktail. I would definitely recommend to try the bresaola sandwiches and all their croissants! The coffee was also great. The atmosphere is chill and hipsterish and the staff is very nice. It’s located near to the metro station, which is great for a quick breakfast, which leaves you enough time to visit the city, especially if you stay in Pigneto neighborhood.

20/03/2026: I happened to be in the area with my husband and we stopped for a coffee outside. As soon as I went in to order, I discovered it was a wonderful bookstore. Great atmosphere, people enjoying a glass of wine while they were at the computer. Everything was truly charming. The girls at the counter were friendly. Their aperitifs are definitely worth trying. Highly recommended.

The rustic-elegant atmosphere and enviable panoramic location surround the restaurant, surrounded by a vegetable garden and garden. 13/02/2026: It's not the first time I've been to this place, and it certainly won't be the last. It's just that... despite it being well-deserved, I've never left a review, a review that must be five stars, and why shouldn't it? Given that the location is superbly nestled in the historic heart of Rome, maintained with love and professionalism, I fondly remember the mountains of flowers that were there during the spring and summer months. Shall we move on to the place? Beautiful, welcoming, clean, simply set, yet elegantly furnished, and why not talk about the staff? They too, without exception, were welcoming, clean, courteous, attentive, and everything beautiful you can think of. All that remains is the food. Do I even need to tell you how it tastes? I don't think so... I simply invite you to try it. I forgot, congratulations on the recently added covered outdoor area. Thank you.

28/02/2026: The menu features carefully selected dishes, based on local products. The kitchen is clearly busy, and on weekends, it can make you wait longer than expected. But the quality of the food makes it worth the wait. The service is friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back. Reservations are highly recommended.

29/01/2026: At Osteria del Contadino, you immediately feel at home. Simonetta, the owner, is always available, smiling, and truly kind: her presence makes all the difference. I ate an excellent cutlet, well-made and flavorful, accompanied by wild chicory and truly special carrots, cooked with care and authentic flavor. To finish, some homemade biscuits, simple yet delicious, reminiscent of tradition and attention to detail. A place where the cuisine is sincere and the welcome is that of a true osteria of the past. Highly recommended.

10/03/2026: I've always liked the ice cream here. This year, when I tried it for the first time, it wasn't as good and was too sugary. I'll try again, hoping it was just a temporary lapse in taste.

27/02/2026: Best ice cream shop in Ostia, offering a wide variety of flavors, each one better than the last. With the recent addition of self-service checkout, service is even faster and more efficient.
