10/08/2025: We discovered this charming coffee shop on our first morning in Rome and returned every single day of our trip. Bar Amore quickly became our daily ritual. The coffee is prepared efficiently, and their sandwiches and pastries are outstanding. The egg and tomato sandwich was an unexpected highlight, so good that we ordered it every morning during our stay. What truly sets Bar Amore apart is the exceptional service. The staff strikes the perfect balance of friendliness and efficiency, creating a welcoming atmosphere for both locals and tourists alike. We never felt rushed or unwelcome, despite the language barrier. The café has an authentic neighborhood feel that’s hard to find in tourist areas. I wish I could bottle the warm atmosphere and take it home with me. Since that’s impossible, I’ll just have to plan our return trip to Rome soon!

20/07/2025: Sono stata a luglio con la mia famiglia all’Hostaria Santa Maria di Frascati e, se avessi potuto, avrei dato ben più di cinque stelle! Il cibo è semplicemente delizioso, ogni piatto è un'esplosione di sapori genuini e ben curati. Il personale è di una gentilezza rara, sempre sorridente e disponibile: mi sono sentita davvero come a casa. Tanto che siamo tornati per tre sere consecutive, ogni volta più soddisfatti della precedente. La location è accogliente e particolare, con un bel dehor esterno perfetto per le sere estive e interni caratteristici che raccontano la vera essenza della tradizione romana. Un posto che resta nel cuore. Torneremo sicuramente!

06/08/2025: A charming and welcoming venue in the heart of the historic center of beautiful Gaeta. They offer high-quality drinks crafted with skill and expertise, as well as an excellent selection of wines and proseccos. Not only that, they also offer non-alcoholic drinks made with the "zero" version of the most famous spirits. Delicious cuisine is an excellent accompaniment! Knowledgeable and friendly staff. A place worth trying! Excellent!

08/08/2025: The cuisine offered at this restaurant has completely revolutionized my idea of carbonara. A brilliant chef, careful both to respect the traditional recipe and to add that touch of flair necessary to make his dishes unique. I then returned during my brief stay in Rome to try a lasagna... I won't deny that I was worried about receiving the usual mix of diced tomatoes and carrots (which, unfortunately, I've become accustomed to at many restaurants), but—even then—I was amazed: excellent consistency, showcasing all the flavors, and even the chef's signature. The service staff is incredibly friendly and well-trained in welcoming non-Italian customers. If I have to criticize this place, it's the "infinite" line you have to endure before entering the restaurant and getting a seat: first-timers might be tempted to give up and look for another restaurant. However, Chef Frigerio is truly a gentleman like few others, and so are his culinary choices.

07/08/2025: An amazing experience. Family owned restaurant doing things differently, would absolutely go back when next in Rome. Off the beaten path, which makes this a gem to discover. Not trying to cater to the masses, but doing things amazingly. Be prepared to queue for a short time in busy periods as is normal for a great spot like this. Try all the dishes.
