05/06/2026: We stumbled upon this bakery by chance. They have a variety of pizzas, sandwiches, and local breakfast items. You can take them away or eat there. They don't have hot drinks, only cold ones. The prices are reasonable. The ladies working there are friendly. You take a number at the entrance and tell them what you want. The price is calculated based on the weight.

19/05/2026: Since it was near my accommodation, I decided to stop by before heading back, and I was delighted to discover an unexpected gem of a restaurant. The staff kindly explained the menu before I placed my order. The main dish, the meatball pasta(?), was truly delicious when topped with burrata cheese. There was also a dish with eggplant that was so good it changed my mind about eggplant, even though I didn't used to like it! Finally, there was a dish with mozzarella cheese, olives, and tomatoes, which was tasty as well. I enjoyed every single dish, and the bill was quite reasonable, haha. I ordered one piece of bread, three main dishes, and one glass of wine, and the total came to about 39 euros. The atmosphere was also great since I was eating outside. I definitely want to visit again!

23/05/2026: There’s a reason the reviews are so good! It’s officially my all-time favorite pizza 🖤 I like that you can freely choose your pizza size because it uses a pay-per-gram system. I tried two flavors and both were delicious, but the real kick is the crust. It’s really crispy, with a texture that no Korean could possibly dislike. The Caciope Pepe Arancini was just so-so. The batter was crispy, but the filling felt like it had neither here nor there flavor.

07/06/2026: A truly enjoyable dinner with friends. Well-prepared dishes, the Gricia was truly excellent. The cod cubes were also delicious. The desserts were excellent. Very attentive and friendly service. Highly recommended.

03/01/2026: Excellent takeout pizzeria in Trastevere, but you can also sit inside... I've had the best pizza in Rome here! We had supplì, a margherita pizza, and a double-breasted burger. Everything was delicious!

31/03/2026: The worst gastronomic experience on my trip to Rome. Loud music (?), impossible to talk, it must be to distract us from our deceived palates. What is the purpose of music in a restaurant? Nobody goes to listen to music in a restaurant, they go to enjoy a cultural experience, with years of wisdom in doing things well and serving well. A bland, tasteless saltimbocca, floating in an uncharacteristic water, with a dessert spoon of mashed potatoes and two pieces of green beans. A glass of red wine, bottled ahead of time. 'This' was classified as a Travellers' Choice on some platform. This only means the number of pseudo-experts in gastronomy who had the misfortune of entering this establishment that considers itself a restaurant. Finally, frequented by families who consider a restaurant to be a playground. Completely insane. Here is my warning. After reading the manager's response, I think he got the group he's referring to wrong. I don't know what he's talking about!

21/03/2026: Tocco Ferro is a wonderful restaurant we went to while visiting family in the Trionfale neighborhood of Rome. There were six of us at dinner and all of the food was exceptional. The seafood was amazing. The owners were very gracious and welcoming and made us feel quite at home. While the restaurant is a little off the beaten path with a bit of construction currently, it is definitely worth the effort to find this gem!

22/05/2026: I must say we had a great time. For a moment, the culinary flavors made us feel like we were in Calabria, specifically in Verzino. Everything was excellent. The welcome was great. I invite you to try it.

04/10/2025: It was nice to be able to eat anything on display! The cakes were nice, especially the filled cannelloni, but savoury wasn’t great. The rice balls were dry and the pizza slices weren’t very nice. Service was not very friendly and coffee was average. Glad we tried it, but wouldn’t return - we found a nicer gluten free bakery in Rome (with much nicer service).

A very charming and quaint place, surrounded by bottles of wine and featuring a corner dedicated to vinyl records, creating a unique atmosphere. Extremely kind and attentive staff, impeccable service. The menu is varied yet well-balanced, with truly excellent dishes and a very well-curated wine list. Absolutely excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

16/05/2026: Passing through Giulianello, around lunchtime, we saw the sign for Osteria del Contadino. Simonetta, her son, and a young staff welcomed us. The family-run atmosphere is pleasantly in the air, and with their smiles and courteous gestures, they literally won us over, not to mention our taste buds! We chose fettuccine with ragù and bean soup, and while we waited for our first course, they offered us two bruschettas with oil and salt. For our side, we opted for baked potatoes. Given the generous portions, we reluctantly skipped dessert and opted for two coffees with donuts. The restaurant is spacious, so much so that our golden retriever, Sky, was with us. It's very welcoming, and we found the decor to be pleasant. When it came time to pay the bill, a pleasant chat with the owners made this experience even better! Highly recommended restaurant.
