08/04/2026: Excellent experience, friendly and helpful staff. Even though the place was busy, they greeted us with a smile at the counter and then found us a spot on the sofa at the entrance. Excellent experience. The prosciutto tartines were good, but I probably preferred the cooked ham and horseradish ones, paired with a very pleasant Merlot. The cod with polenta was the highlight of the flavors, exquisite, and I recommend trying it! P.S. The disposable towels were much appreciated. Update: I came back for dinner and everything was delicious, from the tartare to the pasta and the meat. Everything was excellent, well done ❣️

28/04/2026: So, discovered by chance: two crostini with mortadella (thick but soft bread, good mortadella that didn't cause acidity), one with ham and one with ham (San Daniele, good and balanced quantity), a small bottle of water, a glass of house white wine, a caffè corretto, all for €10.10 really RIGHT PRICE and good crostini!

16/04/2026: Excellent restaurant, highly recommended. The owner, Elena, is incredibly kind. The dishes include both meat and fish, as well as local specialties. The black ravioli with clams and frico, a traditional dish, are highly recommended.

13/04/2026: I found this place on the recommendation of an acquaintance who had frequented it before and raved about it. It was a business/leisure dinner, and luckily I found a table, even though I hadn't booked. A whole new world opened up, filled with warmth and friendliness, a relaxed atmosphere, simple yet with a hint of sophistication. We had a superb dinner, all following the owner's recommendations, with whom we spent a long time afterward, finding common ground and convivial conversations. The chef, the owner's husband, also joined us, and we also exchanged various topics, almost as if we'd known each other for a long time. It's always a pleasure to see the person preparing the dishes face to face; for me, it's a real added value. Typical Friulian dishes with a slight twist, presented with aesthetic attention, excellent aromas, and a very reasonable price. If I have the chance to return to Palmanova, it will certainly be my destination. I didn't take any photos, unlike what I usually do, so as not to distract from the context, so I can't upload them.

29/11/2025: We came to this restaurant because there is nothing much you can do in this village except mine tour when it’s raining. Stuff was nice with good English. We had to try pizza and aperoll of course. Waiting time was like 10 minutes and dish was delicious. Pay with card possible but they charged us paper placemats with cutlery which was 1,50€ per person. Not sure if these are standards in Italy or not. Italian atmosphere was amazing btw.

08/03/2026: A well-kept restaurant. Customer service is present but very discreet. We had a mixed appetizer, two first courses, and two desserts...what can I say? Excellent quality food, each dish more delicious than the last. Highly recommended!

08/04/2026: Under a bright starry sky After a day out, we decided to extend the day with a feast of arrosticini, and Marlon was there to try. First, we started with sagne e fagioli, a superb starter, then dived into the coveted arrosticini, which are also offered in handmade (full-flavored) versions, liver (melt-in-your-mouth), and sbagliati (for a different taste), finishing with the house dessert, a revisited zuppa inglese. All washed down with the inevitable local Montepulciano, coffee, and light gentian. What more can we say except that you're immersed in a tranquil atmosphere, and upon exiting, a brilliant and captivating blue blanket awaits.

12/04/2026: I went to this restaurant for a birthday dinner. The food was good, but the service was a bit lacking. We waited over an hour for a first course and another 20 minutes for dessert. Considering it was a weekday, it seemed a bit long.

02/03/2026: Easily accessible restaurant in the village of Rigolato, divided into two rooms with outdoor seating. The pizza is excellent, with easy-to-digest dough and quality ingredients, and there are some very unique and tasty specialty pizzas. The service is informal and fairly quick, and the prices are average.

28/03/2026: We stayed one night. Convenient parking, and the atmosphere immediately felt welcoming and familiar. A warm welcome, even for our border collie, Rocky. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The dinner was excellent, from rabbit gnocchi to braised beef in Refosco, to Refosco tiramisu, and of course, the Refosco wine they produce was truly delicious. Waking up early in the morning was very convenient for Rocky, with plenty of space on the estate, among the grassy paths surrounding the vineyards, and even a stream. Breakfast was super sweet and savory, with hard-boiled eggs and local cured meats. Our request to bring breakfast forward a half hour to 7:30 was granted. The price was also excellent. We'll be back.

21/03/2026: Very kind owner who made sure we had everything we needed. I have to emphasize that everything is very clean and tidy, absolutely an extra star for cleanliness. What I would definitely like to see improved are the beds, or rather the mattresses, which are not comfortable, for a double bed it would be nice if it was in one piece and the frames were in accordance with the bed. We had maids every day during our stay, they also change towels every day. Breakfast is very correct and plentiful. Fridge and microwave and coffee machine available upstairs. Recommendation for a short break 🤠♥️

18/03/2026: I've been coming here since 2019 with my partner. The food is good and the atmosphere is romantic and peaceful. I've sadly learned that Elia's father has passed away, and I'm very saddened. Kudos to Elia and the great work he's doing, and above all, his ability to welcome guests with a smile even as he's busy cooking and serving everyone. A touch of Friuli that's worth seeking out!!! Highly recommended!
