07/06/2025: We ended up at this village by accident in te first place. But we loved the entire authentic vibe. Especially the kind hearted and caring people (sth with a mtb that broke down). We didn t plan to go out for dinner but... then we saw this place. It looked inviting although only local people were there and it was siesta time. Since I didnt feel like cooking we first asked if it was possible to pay by card. Luckily it was! It was Still early so we first went to the waterfall (which u can apparently ice climb in winter!! *when we are more experienced climbers we will surely try) We loved it. Maybe because we were outside the season. We didnt visit the mines although we understood that the visit was worthwhile. Coming back to the review of this inn. We absolutely adored it. We hardly speak Italian but the woman who helped us was so kind. And the food was amazing!! We had a starter first with cheese and meat but the best of all: their flatbread. We would definitely go back to just ask the recipe for that one! We first wanted to order 2 pizza's but after the starter we Just shared 1 and the taste was amazing too. So cheers to all of the people who still live in the village and shout out to this tasty place!

02/06/2025: What a great discovery! The facility is large, well-kept and super welcoming, perfect for a relaxing day or a party. The managers are really kind and helpful, you can feel that they put their heart into what they do. The food is excellent, from the hot dishes to the fabulous platters of cold cuts and cheeses: a real treat! Absolutely to try!

26/05/2025: Eravamo di strada e ci siamo fermati per caso. Tagliere, frico, filetto di maiale con speck e una buonissima ribolla!! Tutto ottimo, simpatici i gestori Torneremo presto!

29/05/2025: We loved everything: the salad with green vegetables, carrots and tomatoes, the pasta filled with spinach, stuffed tomatoes, baked potatoes, stuffed pigeon, and the best parfait with nuts and cherries for dessert we’ve ever eaten. Highly recommended! The restaurant is also very stylish. The bar looked very nice, too! We’re already waiting for the next visit in this lovely restaurant.

19/06/2025: The best ice cream in Trieste. For some time now they have also fixed the opening hours, available on their page and on google, and they have added a fantastic vending machine available 24/7

13/06/2025: One of the best artisanal ice cream shops in Trieste, in a quiet area, surrounded by lots of greenery. Living a few steps away I am a regular customer and I can testify that it is very popular with people of all ages who enjoy the ice cream sitting down or walking and many also take away. I recommend trying it, you will not be disappointed.

03/06/2025: We've been traveling in Slovenia and Italy for ten days and have spent quite a bit of money on food and drink. Tonight we had the most delicious meal. And friendly service, great draft beer, and the house's own amaro. Relaxed and simply fantastic!

14/06/2025: Exceptional place for a Sunday lunch with friends, in authentic lightheartedness and pleasant simplicity. They welcomed us in the best way, great kindness and above all availability (yes, there are still restaurants where you don't have to tiptoe around the restaurant owner, but where they really do their best to put the customer at ease). Definitely good dishes and nice abundant portions (yes, there are still restaurants where you feed yourself with food and not with your eyes). Punctual in managing the timing and well organized with high chairs for children. We were mainly served by Mrs. Leila, thanks to whom we will certainly return!

04/06/2025: Positive experience, the girl who serves at the tables is very kind and sunny, I have visited this farmhouse other times and I have always had a good time, places abroad too. Highly recommended also for the prices!

15/05/2025: We had lunch with typical and genuine local dishes. Excellent cacio e ova. Excellent homemade first courses and arrosticini not to be missed. It is absolutely worth stopping!

08/06/2025: We ate: Cjarsons melted butter and ricotta Battery of soft wheat flour and potatoes with a filling of walnuts, pine nuts, fresh ricotta, sultanas, spinach or seasonal herbs. Served on cinnamon and flavored with butter and ricotta. Frico di patate con polenta Melted cheese and potatoes.

04/06/2025: Ore 17.40, entro in pasticceria, dietro a me una coppia di signore che si ferma al banco per un caffè, anch'io mi fermo al banco per scegliere un pasticcino poi decido di sedermi ad un tavolo all'interno per prendere un caffè ed un pasticcino. Il ragazzo dietro al banco serve le due signore e mi ignora, entra un'altra signora che si ferma al banco per decidere che cioccolato acquistare, ed intanto io osservo e vengo ignorata. Le amiche consumano e pagano si spostano per curiosare le cioccolate e la signora al banco viene servita e riverita ed io intanto aspetto... Passano 15 minuti e decido di alzarmi ed andarmene con lo stupore sul viso del cameriere dietro al banco... Non ci sono ulteriori commenti.

16/05/2025: Great service, the coffee was as I wanted it, the brown muffin was nice and big and juicy, BUT the caramel and SALT chocolate was without SALT. Zero perceived…🤬 🧂❤️

28/06/2025: Discovered place by chance since I'm not from Trieste, small but extremely pleasant. Very good cuisine with homemade pasta and fish of the day. Very friendly staff. We had such a good time the first time, that we went back the next day
