A "different" pizza compared to what you find around. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to return to old traditions and the wholesome flavors of homemade pizza. Very good.

Possibly the best Pizzeria I am aware of on this planet. Always a favorite stopping point of mine when I visit Tfrieste (I even choose my housing in reasonable proximity to it, which probably tells a lot).

Since our accommodation was just a minute's walk away and we didn't feel like eating out on our first evening in Trieste, we grabbed a quick pizza here. I hadn't checked the reviews beforehand (which I usually do) and was a bit skeptical because of the simple decor and the almost empty dining area. But while I waited a few minutes for our takeaway pizza, the restaurant filled up very quickly. The pizza ended up being so good that we ended up getting our pizzas for a relaxing meal on the terrace here three evenings later. (And on the fourth evening – their day off – we already missed them. :))

The place is a bit off the beaten track, off the main tourist route, and it shows; it's mostly locals who dine inside. The service is very friendly; if I remember correctly, the gentleman who served me brought me a Polish menu when he found out I was Polish. ;) He also recommended something from the menu; I haven't had such good pizza in a long time. The prices are also reasonable, and the selection is wide.

Good pizza with fair value for money. Many people order a pizza and therefore the phone rings quite a lot which dampens a bid the atmosphere.

14/04/2026: Depends on ice cream type, if you have stracatella its perfect, pisstacio or nuttela is from machine and not very nice
