19/01/2025: Fine settimana passato in quel di Lignano e cena in questo ristorante scelto grazie alle recensioni di trip Advisor. La scelta si è rivelata azzeccata e non mi resta che accodarmi alle recensioni che mi hanno preceduto. Abbiamo mangiato trota salmonata, la regina di San Daniele, con formaggio di asina, accoppiamento particolare ma stimolante al palato. Frico di ottima fattura e Cjalsons, prediligendo la cucina locale alla cena di pesce, presente nel menù. Prezzo adeguato alla qualità del cibo: materia prima, ricerca,preparazione

30/12/2024: Unfortunately I feel obliged to report what happened during our experience in this restaurant because it does not reflect the reviews present. Of the 2 second courses ordered we received: - A duck breast with a side dish that did not reflect what was requested: instead of julienned cabbage, pumpkin and potatoes (a side dish present in another second course, requested to replace what the duck breast would have included) Romanesco cabbage arrived, cauliflower, beetroot and potatoes all boiled unseasoned apart from the potatoes cooked in the oven which were more burnt than roasted. All lukewarm. After asking to reheat for a moment everything returns to the table lukewarm as soon as possible. - A slice of sea bass, accompanied by the same stewed vegetables as the duck breast. Too bad that the fish was raw inside and therefore rubbery. We were particularly upset when we reported to the waitress that the sea bass was cooked incorrectly, who immediately reported it to the owner, who however pretended nothing had happened. After a few minutes the waitress took away the plates with the half-eaten sea bass and brought everyone a scoop of sorbet, probably thinking of remedying the general dissatisfaction. We tried to point out the inconvenience of the sea bass again at the cash desk and they replied that the cooking is fine even like this, raw inside because it is freshly caught fish, even though it was clearly stringy. The owner and waitress, firm in their convictions, offered us a ten euro discount at the checkout, from 100 euros to 90 euros, to send us away. It's a shame that 10 euros are nothing compared to the disservice reserved for us, I'm sorry.

28/02/2025: Simply, my favorite place! Here I rediscovered the flavors of French viennoiseries. From the simplest and most traditional options to revisited ones with particular flavours, they are always fabulous. Charlotte really satisfies all tastes and the staff is always available and prepared to advise on the choice. They also managed to make me rediscover and like canelés! Between sweet and savory options, any time is a good time to take a break from Charlotte.

19/01/2025: The accurate service is accompanied by exquisite kindness. Excellent desserts and hot apple juice. I thank the owner who didn't just tell me that one of her recipes was available online. He wrote it to me in his own hand, in a quiet moment in the room.

19/01/2025: Truly a "very sweet place". A beautiful environment. With seats to consume but in the 'hot' hours expect a long queue to order and even more so to be able to sit down. Adequate prices. Friendly staff. Thank you

23/02/2025: I returned after a year, the pizza was good but I was dissatisfied with the price of a glass of sparkling Galera wine, which sold by the half liter costs 6.50, which I did then I took a glass (never mind the quantity) and they charged me 4.00 euros. NOT GOOD.

21/02/2025: There were 4 of us for lunch, excellent pizza but we were unhappy about one thing, we ordered half a liter of sparkling Galera, €6.50, then at the end of the meal, a glass of galera (also a negligible quantity) €4.00, there is something to review, dear managers, because some little things make the difference with others.

The food is exquisite, creamed cod with polenta, tagliatelle with radicchio and fish tortelli accompanied by an excellent still Ribolla from Collio. To finish, accompanied by the coffee, delicious local sweets. Highly recommended

26/02/2025: Without joking, one of the best pizzerias I've ever tried. It has become the trusted pizzeria, the one that when you think of pizza it comes to mind and when someone offers you a pizza it is your yardstick. And often, I assure you, to comment on another pizza, my boyfriend and I say: yes, good, but not like my mother, what a pizza! The quality of the ingredients is superb, the vegetable pizza has REAL grilled vegetables! Try the Marta, you will fall in love with it! The owners are super helpful even though the place - especially on weekends - is always full and bombarded with phone calls. They also have a site where you can order and pay. The place is small, it was born as a takeaway delicatessen/pizzeria. But it also has a few tables, even if they are quite cramped. You can also get a drink. To tell you about their big hearts, I'll tell you this: I'm from Emilia, but my boyfriend is from Friuli and enjoys ultracycling and once, returning from Emilia to return to Friuli, I ordered him (from Emilia) a pizza delivered to his home. I had explained the story a little on the phone and the pizza carrier met my boyfriend on the way home, they recognized each other and escorted him for the last few metres. Mom, what a pizza is much more than just a pizza. 🧡
