08/03/2026: The restaurant consists of two areas: the inside had a strange burning smell, I don't know if it was the pizza oven or the kitchen; the outside, a veranda, although well-kept, had a really loud fan heater; we left with a headache. Service: quick and courteous, although the tables were set with very thin placemats and the clean glasses had a strong smell. Food: Neapolitan pizza with a soft crust, but the flavor of the simple Margherita left me a bit perplexed, while I enjoyed the Napoli. The first course I ordered was good, but from an osteria, I would have expected other types of first courses and lower prices. I saw well-filled hamburgers at other tables; perhaps focusing on those and the pizzas would be a better solution. Pizza prices are average. I found the first and second courses a bit high considering the variety offered. Cover charge €2.50 and water €0.75 in a glass for €2.50 (!).

04/02/2026: Returning after years, the food has no flavor. You can't tell what you're eating. What's more, they charge €12 for small children under 2 and a half.

24/01/2026: The food quality is excellent, with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. The portions are quite large and satisfying, especially considering the value for money. The only small flaw is the lack of pictures on the menu, which would make choosing dishes easier, especially for first-time visitors. Overall, a very positive experience and a recommended restaurant.

09/11/2025: We went here for an aperitivo with my friends and opted for the €22 deal, and overall it was a great experience! The location is truly perfect, right under Bologna's Two Towers, so right in the city center and with a very pleasant atmosphere. The service was friendly and helpful, the staff always smiling and attentive. The selection is affordable and varied: we tried several items, and overall we enjoyed everything, especially the tortelloni, which were really good. If I had to find a small flaw, the spritzes weren't particularly successful and the meatballs were a bit bland, but nothing that ruined the overall experience.

04/11/2025: Too bad... Too bad I can't give zero stars!!! The atmosphere is typical of tourist spots, so far no problem. The huge problem is passing off a dish, specifically "a large pan-fried ragù," as a particularly rich and filling dish that turned out to be far inferior to a simple pasta dish, with a surcharge of about €3. But alas, aside from the quantity of pasta, the question I wanted to ask the STARRED chef was this: Where's the ragù, my starred chef? Finally, when I pointed this out to the waitress, she almost fainted, apparently feeling attacked when in reality I asked her a simple question: Where's the ragù? The worst place my family and I have ever eaten. Obviously, the aforementioned first course wasn't included in the bill, which was steep for the quality eaten by the other diners... WELL DONE... KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK IF YOU WANT TO CLOSE OUT!!!

23/12/2025: The kind Chinese owner called me a taxi on a cold winter night when I couldn't find one. He even offered me a cup of warm coffee and called me a taxi.

12/11/2025: The best bar in Bologna, hands down, especially for students. €3 for a croissant and cappuccino, and it's huge.

12/09/2025: A little Venetian restaurant in Bologna! It was a wonderful experience. The place is small, which I don't see as a bad thing. The owner, who is also the chef, is not only excellent but also very kind. The sardines in saor were delicious, as was the creamed cod and the fried fish, which was thinly battered and not at all greasy. Highly recommended!

26/08/2025: Had one of my best meals here! I was in Padova but didn't get to try their famous bigoli in salsa. Had it here and it was delicious! Just one note -- I tried to return for lunch the next day, as Google shows lunch hours, but then saw on the window that is only dinner. Very common here not to have hours/menu updated online.

17/03/2026: It's a welcoming place with a panoramic view. Kudos to all the staff for their service and kindness. Here you can enjoy a good breakfast, but also stop for a quick lunch with plenty of choice and flavor.

11/12/2025: I went for breakfast in early December 2025. I met a gentleman in his 50s or 60s. I asked for a cappuccino and a pastry. A pastry without cream or chocolate or anything similar, and they offered me one with jam 🤔🫣. I was asked if I wanted a drop of still or sparkling water. I chose still and they brought me sparkling water 😕. I remained seated at the table inside the bar because of the cold. It's a shame there are only half a dozen tables, and they fill up quickly, and at a certain point, you almost feel like you're in the way, especially when you've finished your meal. Receipt cannot be produced because it wasn't received.

21/12/2025: I've been going there since I was a child, and today I was supposed to celebrate my birthday there. Unfortunately, I felt ill and couldn't go. I found them understanding and friendly, which isn't a given. I'll reorganize and definitely go back, as it's one of my favorite places. Thank you ❤️

26/11/2025: A great place to meet up with friends. There's a huge park. The ice cream is very good, and you can tell the owner cares about selecting top-quality ingredients. There's also a heated area for the colder months. I'd say it's the best in Villanova.
