28/03/2026: I tried the pizzas, both Margherita and Salciccia, and found them excellent and filling. They didn't leave you feeling empty. As for the pizza, besides Margherita, I was able to try various types, from the traditional Apulian to the new generation, and they were both delicious and filling. The crust is thin, and you can taste the house signature. 4/5 Stars... P.S.: Kindness is also a hallmark of San Matteo della Decima.

05/06/2026: This hotel provides a high standard of accommodation. The rooms are well equipped and very clean. It feels like a quality product. Unfortunately, during our stay the hotel was undergoing renovation and so there were none of the normal services (bar, restaurant and spa) available. It was hard to find staff. Breakfast was a disappointment and not what you would expect from a four star hotel. They should have closed rather than offering such poor service.

04/08/2026: Welcoming bar, nice menu, though quite expensive. Very slow staff. They do one thing at a time. Like this morning, the ATM was slow, and three of us spent a good two minutes looking at the POS, telling me to wait to order (I could have paid in cash) because they do one thing at a time. Not to be in a rush, but you can find quicker solutions.

02/08/2026: In the summer, it's quite unlivable; they only have two penguins, who unfortunately can't cool the entire place. The staff is very friendly. Quite expensive.

09/07/2026: Ok, maybe it was my fault for ordering vegan food but if you have it on the menu I except it to be at least decent! My polpettone was just a bunch of salty stuff and my fries were mushy and definitely too seasoned. Staff are nice and the garden is cute but unfortunately not enough to make up for the food.

08/07/2026: I went there with friends on a weekday. Excellent food, short wait times, friendly and helpful waiter. The owner was pleasant and friendly. The atmosphere was clean and "just like it used to be" in old taverns.

06/05/2026: The pizza I ordered was very good, well-cooked, thin, and crispy. I also ordered a dessert, a chocolate cake served with whipped cream on the side. The service was courteous and quick, and the place where I ate was completely renovated and clean. They also have a few tables outside. Recommended.

17/03/2026: Discovered by chance, it was a pleasant experience. Pizza is already cut into slices, so you don't even need to use a knife and fork. The pizzeria has a counter for pizza by the slice, so once you've chosen your order, you can sit in the adjoining room or outside. We'll definitely be back to try their other specialties.

28/12/2025: Tried for the first time, this restaurant, hidden behind a vending machine, is a surprise, especially once you cross the threshold: from the outside it might seem anonymous, but inside it reveals a pleasant Scandinavian style, featuring light woods and understated lines that create an elegant and welcoming atmosphere. The cuisine is undoubtedly the strong point. The menu is neither over-the-top nor cheap: a few local specialties, well-executed and prepared with top-quality ingredients. The portions aren't large, but they are balanced, and the consistency of the offerings—confirmed by previous reviews—is an added bonus. The prices are fair and perfectly in line with the quality offered. The service, initially a bit rushed and distant (probably due to the arrival of other tables at the same time), later proved to be friendly and empathetic. The coffee was also good, a pleasant end to the experience. A place that leaves a positive impression and one we'll gladly return to if necessary.
