08/03/2026: A great spot just outside Bologna's city center. It's best to book ahead as it fills up quickly, even on a Sunday evening! They have a good selection of beers and dishes to share or enjoy on their own. The interior is quite noisy.

15/10/2025: Unfortunately we had a really bad experience at Trattoria da Me from start to finish. When we arrived for our reservation at 9:30 there was a line of people waiting to be seated. There is only one person at the door to take payments and seat reservations which makes it a long wait time and very crowded in the entry just to be seated. After we finally sat down we ordered and the waiter kept interrupting as we tried to order and suggesting things we didn’t want. Once we ordered and the first plates came they were ok. Then we waited a long time for the second course. We ordered the cod fillet, which was extremely undercooked that you couldn’t even cut it. We asked for them to take it back to cook further, which they said ok and they will make us a new one that would take 10 minutes. 40 minutes later after asking they bought out the new plates that were exactly the same. Chewy and undercooked. They told us they slow cook it in a water bath but that was not made clear by the menu description that said ‘slow cooked cod’. It was not a pleasant dish to eat, we tried a bit and told them that we’re not able to eat it. I am pescatarian and have worked in restaurants with water baths and have never seen a piece of fish served like this. It was very disappointing after waiting so long. When we sent it back the second time the waitress told us we would not be charged and for the fish and asked if we would like some limoncello, which I accepted. Then we went to pay the bill and the cod was still there so when I asked the cashier she told me yes because we are charging you for only 2 instead of 4, and we also gave you the wine and liquor free. They offered me the limoncello and then are telling me they are not including it in the bill. Oh yes and also while we were eating there is a hidden door behind my friends chair, which the waitress made her move so she could go in and out scratching her jacket with the door. I never write bad reviews but I honestly can’t believe I just paid for that. One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.

The ppl behaviour was great. -if i talk about atmosphere. It was fresh. And U can take ur time. No one can disturb u. I spend my gd time there. Ttlly it was perfect. 15/02/2026: Beautiful breakfast spot with a selection of their own quality and tasty food. Excellent coffee (by Italian standards), good food and fresh products. Nice and spacious interior, good preparation speed. Of the cakes, I definitely recommend the chocolate soufflé Toilet without a toilet seat, which is quite unpleasant!

09/03/2026: The best pastry shop in Bologna!! Not only does it always amaze with its variety and selection, it never tires. Mr. Elmi, by combining various ingredients, creates a fabric of flavors to explore and explore like a path through taste itself. Take custard, for example: a seemingly simple ingredient, it turns out magnificent in the way it takes on nuances from one dessert to the next. A treat your palate can't miss. Just be careful, it's addictive.

16/03/2026: An extremely pleasant evening spent with my dad. Everything was excellent, with a special mention for the tortellini broth and the sublime fried cream (never tasted so good in over 40 years). The place is welcoming and the staff are very helpful. There's a good selection of wines. If I really had to offer one piece of advice, I'd update the decor (upholstery/furnishings) and the bathrooms (which are otherwise very clean). I'll definitely be back to try the outdoor seating area as soon as the weather is nice.

05/03/2026: I went to Trattoria Ummarel and had a wonderful meal! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, a typical Bolognese trattoria where you immediately feel at home. The dishes were truly exceptional: fresh homemade pasta, authentic flavors, and generous portions. You could taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in their preparation. The staff was kind, attentive, and always smiling, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic traditional cuisine in a family-friendly atmosphere. I'll definitely be back! 🍝✨

22/12/2025: Pizzeria and restaurant in San Lazzaro, near the Palazzo dello Sport. My wife and I ordered two fish-based first courses, a glass of still white wine each, a pizza bianca (white pizza), a lemon sorbet, still water, and two coffees. Next time, we'll try the pizza, which looked more inviting, given the impact of the delicious white focaccia. The owner and staff are very friendly. Prices are average or slightly above.

21/12/2025: The pizza was delicious, unfortunately I didn't like the atmosphere and the service (they were in a crazy hurry and anxiously). There was no need for this rush because as soon as I arrived they told me that our reservation would be until 9pm!

26/10/2025: Already reviewed some time ago. Delivery times have improved significantly. Excellent cuisine and friendly, respectful staff. Attentive to problem-solving. The pizzas are delicious. Always on time. Small space, but optimized for customer service. Reservations recommended. Outdoor gazebo is more active during the summer months.
