14/10/2025: We are from South Korea and have travel to Amalfi, visit this restaurant for our dinner. Everyone was so kind and made us happy from the entrance. Chef's food was just ‘fantastic’!!!!!! I love this place and chef, also every workers! Perfect restaurant for me ever❤️

08/10/2025: Perfect dining experience! Everything from the owner, the waitress, the food and the atmosphere, this was one of the most memorable meals we had in 16 days in Italy! We did it right down the menu with Scallops as the appetizer, then shared the 1st course and the each ordered our own 2nd courses. Each stage of the food was perfection and you could get a sense that this is going to be a special meal right from the start with the appetizer. I'm not a wine drinker so the owner suggested a type of lemon soda they have and it was served with a slice of orange 🍊... I loved it and ordered another... it's like he knew me better than I know myself. The sauces on each protein were smoothly blended with all the flavors working together in harmony! Beautiful view of the Amalfi Coast doesn't hurt either! On the way out I told him I would write a review so here it is a day later I highly recommend taking the time to dine here as you won't regret it. My wife and I both agreed this was the meal of the entire trip!

12/04/2026: For a post-breakfast snack we stopped at this place to try their specialties, we got a Bounty cupcake, in my opinion very disappointing because we thought there would be a lot of cream inside but instead it was really minimal, and then we got a Kinder milk chocolate cake and a Kinder cereal bar and both were very good and special and truly delicious... I would have emptied the ice cream shop because it was truly enchanting with all those sweets but anyway as a start I was very happy... See you next time

20/04/2026: Brief and honest: a disappointment. We chose this restaurant out of many to introduce our daughter to this type of experience. (Dad and I are already more experienced.) The videos and reviews we saw online were great (did they raise our expectations?), but despite booking more than a month in advance and going on a Sunday, choosing the 7-course tasting menu with a pair of wines, the final feeling was "this time we chose badly." The dishes were bland in flavor, lacking any WOW effect; the perceived message was maximum value for money with little investment. Let me explain: the bread served was "minimal," so much so that it wasn't possible to mop up the mullet with bread, and brioche bread and butter were missing. In place of ravioli, a risotto. For dessert? Half a chocolate circle per person, not a whole one, as was the dessert (and I admit that presenting it as tacos to justify their shape and quantity... is a smart move). Honestly, the only dish worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant was the pasta and potatoes with octopus, an interesting dish. We didn't feel like complaining, because overall the service was good (when I asked, "Are the brioche bread and butter missing?" the young lady replied with a curt and icy "yes," without any explanation...) but the sommelier (Nicola) was up to the task, explaining the wines and explaining the pairings. Finally, the icing on the cake: we also paid for coffee and liqueur, when even the worst pizzerias offer it, as do all-you-can-eat restaurants. For special occasions, they offer a welcome bottle of sparkling wine or something else, not just a measly candle "with our best wishes." We gave you a chance by choosing your restaurant. We recognized the staff's commitment by leaving a tip, despite our dissatisfaction. We hope you'll take this review, the result of an experience that didn't live up to expectations, in a spirit of constructive criticism that will spur you to improve, so that the first star isn't a finishing line but a springboard. Ad majora! P.S. While I was adding the photo of the receipt (tip paid separately, ed.), I realized it's not even a fiscal one...

12/12/2025: Domenico and Anna are two truly wonderful people, making the experience at this small, quaint restaurant in the center of Cetara even more enjoyable. We had octopus and potatoes—truly excellent—and scialatielli with anchovies and colatura, a true Cetara specialty. Everything was perfect. If I had to find a flaw, I'd say that €7 for a glass of wine is just out of reach, but we're happy to overlook it. We'll be back and recommend it to anyone who asks. Thank you.

09/12/2025: Fresh fish, flavorful dishes, and a deep respect for the ingredients. The appetizers, first courses, and main courses are excellent. I recommend the dishes with anchovies or the typical Cetara colatura, a delicacy. Warm welcome and friendly service. Reservations require a bit of patience, as the place is small and only has limited outdoor seating, but the wait will be well worth it!

04/04/2026: A classic tavern, which is what the name means, decorated in the style that we somehow expect when we come to Italy. The food is excellent, the prices are affordable, the only thing is that the staff does not speak any language except Italian...but they are kind and make an effort to explain everything you are interested in. A heartfelt recommendation.

07/03/2026: Sometimes 5 stars aren't enough to express a true opinion. The vegetarian menu was nothing short of amazing, from start to finish. The gnocchi allo scarpariello and the buffalo milk dessert were noteworthy, and we were literally amazed by the unexpected and hidden pairing with olives. The recommended wine pairing complemented each dish admirably, and the service from Michele and Francesco was simply impeccable.

22/11/2025: We found this little jewel on 11/21/25 while exploring the Amalfi coast. A delightful little restaurant with personal attention, all sorts of great fish and the specialty of the area, anchovies done in several different ways. We all loved the food and the experience. Seek it out. Parking is difficult but well worth it.

15/11/2025: My first time in Cetara, I wandered around and while I was trying to figure out whether I could rely on the restaurant for lunch or opt for a grocery store given my dietary issues, I met Nadia. She listened to me and then did something unexpected and something I'd never seen before: she took me by the arm and led me into the kitchen. I explained my allergies and concerns. The kitchen was spotless, and the cook gave me all the reassurance I needed (the last time I trusted her, I ended up in the hospital). I ate lunch with all the peace of mind I have at home. Nadia pampered us, and I was able to celebrate my birthday without any worries. 😍 And I'll add that both the wine and the oil are absolutely exceptional and straight from Cilento, "the land of the Mediterranean diet." I recommend choosing it, especially since it all makes up for the expense. Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
