26/10/2024: di passaggio a cetara durante un giro in scooter sulla costiera, ci siamo fermati qui guardando le altre recensioni. penso che siano da confermare. accoglienza sorridente, ottima qualità del cibo, buon consiglio sul bere e prezzi moderati. abbiamo preso un menù da 35 euro in due, dividendo antipasto pasta con colatura ed alici fritte. il menu comprendeva anche un calice di vino, ma noi abbiamo preso una buona bottiglia, così la titolare di sua iniziativa ha trasformato il calice in un dessert da dividere. il posto è molto piccolo e ha solo posti nel dehor, ma più che consigliato.

13/01/2025: Un locale che, molto probabilmente, in passato sarà stato adibito a garage. Tavoli e sedie tipo "arredi da rigattiere". Piatti, posate e bicchieri tutti diversi, tipo "stoviglie della villa al mare che vivi 15 giorni l'anno". Tutto ciò che non ti aspetti quando vai al ristorante. E qui la sorpresa! Un'atmosfera coinvolgente, una cucina semplice, ma eccellente, con piatti della tradizione locale preparati da mani esperte e con materie prima di ottima qualità; ti senti a casa ed è come se conoscessi gli altri avventori da tanto tempo. Gigino, simpaticissimo e vulcanico, ha avuto un'intuizione geniale che ti permette di vivere un'esperienza unica, sorprendente. Inoltre, cosa che non guasta, un rapporto qualità prezzo assolutamente conveniente. Da ripetere!

24/12/2024: We had an amazing experience at this pizzeria. The pizza was absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors that took us straight to Italy. The pizza with eggplant paste was unique and truly inspiring – something we've never tasted before. We were also impressed by the outstanding quality of the food and the friendly service. 11/12/2024: I have eaten pizza in every region of Italy and this place is definitely not a 4.7 point restaurant! This place should be rated 3.5 to 4. First of all, we ordered a margarita (with mozerrala di bufala) and artichoke pizza and shared it with my friend. In the photo you can see half of the each pizza. When a pizzeria in Salerno is rated 4.7, you definitely expect high quality from both the dough and the bufala. However, both were disappointing for me. The mozzarella was like a factory product and when we cut it, the expected milk did not come out at all. Another thing was that the artichoke pizza came with cubes of pork instead of the ham that was shown in the QR code menu photo and mentioned in the ingredients. We also ordered a salad and a sloppy salad came. The waiter brought olive oil and balsamic vinegar with the salad when we requested it. These should have actually come with the service. Other than that, the restrooms were clean and the tables and chairs looked clean. However, I don't think I will come here again and I recommend you to try other places.

15/12/2024: You stand under lemons and oranges, just a few steps from the sea and the fishing port. The owner is very friendly and takes excellent care of things. Absolute recommendation. The sanitary facilities are getting old, but are well maintained. The showers had hot water. Reasonable prices. We were the only ones on the site, so the kitchen was closed - but that didn't bother us. There was freshly caught fish at the harbor and we took care of ourselves. However, you have to walk quite a while to get there and go shopping. There is southern Italian traffic chaos in the town.

Nothing to say about starters and first courses, but we're not quite there about desserts, I was served a frozen chocolate cheesecake. Furthermore, the place was very cold and I had dinner with my jacket on. The staff were very kind and competent.

28/12/2024: I'll tell you briefly about this almost pirate-like, er, daring adventure, starting from the premise that the place internally looks really good, very well looked after and with a very fascinating wooden structure, the ceiling has a beautiful design and the paintings are very particular. Really friendly staff, well trained and very professional. Excellent organization of the room, I didn't expect it for a Saturday evening even though I noticed that the place was far from maximum capacity. We started by ordering two omelettes (one with pappardelle alla boscaiola and another with orecchiette, pumpkin and sausage), I first tried the boscaiola, quite good in flavour, a bit rubbery consistency, the pasta inside is overcooked but has a pretty good flavour, the one with the pumpkin had little flavor, the orecchiette were overcooked, almost like mush, the pumpkin was almost tasteless, after the second forkful I left it on the plate. We can do better. ) We were curious so we ordered two fish dishes, one with cod and another with octopus. To accompany everything we ordered half a bottle of white wine, excellent choice, the idea of ​​half a bottle is nice especially if you have to drive... the wine was very good, the waiter described it well and served it even better, really Well done. My partner got the cod, I got the octopus with a sort of artichoke pâté and slices of roasted/dried artichoke. Let's start with the octopus, par excellence it is difficult to cook, this pultutto was a flop, the pâté looked exactly like the one bought in the supermarket and the octopus after a searing was placed on top, hard and rubbery, two bites and I couldn't take it anymore, the artichoke was barely noticeable, the consistency was not pleasant at all, almost stomach-turning, this dish could be improved a lot, I always respect the work, let's be clear, it could be that I just wasn't very lucky. You could tell the cod was coming, not by the smell but by the almost nauseating stench, it infested the whole room, they could even smell it a few tables away, for the love of God, wonderful plating, beautiful to look at, same thing also for the octopus, soggy consistency, it should have been left in salt for a little longer or it deserved a few more minutes of cooking... I don't know if it's bad luck or there was a mess in the kitchen, I don't know you can always do everything well but our experience was very negative from a gastronomic point of view, the location and the top staff. After a few bites, maybe 4 in total, we got up, thanked the waiters and left. Clearly we paid all 68 euros always with a smile. I hope something changes if this experience is daily.. I don't know if I would go back.

29/12/2024: In the city center of Salerno, at the beginning of Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the Salumeria del Corso offers you simplicity and good taste, with its platters of typical local products and many dishes prepared as if at home (mixed vegetables, aubergine parmigiana, meatballs of various types, and much more), accompanied by glasses of wine and a lot of friendliness and courtesy from the managers, Giovanna and Amedeo, who have been carrying forward this point for years food and wine meeting with an excellent quality/price ratio. Before venturing into the meanders of the city and the artistic lights, a stop here for refreshment is absolutely recommended.

From the cold cuts to the cheeses, from the fresh vegetables to the expertly cooked dishes, everything was of the highest quality. Every bite released authentic and genuine flavours, a sign of excellent raw materials and cuisine made with love and expertise. If you are looking for a place to eat well, feel welcomed at home and enjoy an authentic food and wine experience, this farmhouse is undoubtedly the perfect choice. I will definitely be back!
