08/07/2026: We took a detour on our trip to try this place, and it was worth it!
The restaurant is located inside an old mill, tastefully and elegantly renovated. The idea of covering part of the dining room's floor with glass, making the space more airy and interesting, was highly original and striking. We were right above the chef's station and could see the precision and cleanliness with which he carried out his work.
The welcome was formally correct, as is appropriate for this type of restaurant, but also very friendly, and there was plenty of interesting information about the preparations and local products.
The tasting menu, focused on fish, presented a series of dishes prepared with high-quality technique, with remarkable control over cooking, textures, assembly, and plating.
Beyond the technique, the taste experience was also very satisfying because the search for unusual flavors respected and enhanced the raw materials, particularly the delicacy of the fish in its various forms—squid, cod, scampi, amberjack.
In conclusion, a very pleasant experience that, while respecting the roots of traditional cuisine, had the courage to dare and seek new stimuli compared to a local gastronomic offering that is perhaps a little static and at times too "touristy."

23/03/2026: I'd been wanting to visit the Sinodo restaurant for a while. I took the opportunity to take a Sunday morning stroll through the Vallo della Lucania market and a stroll around the center. We chose the menu of the day: fusilli with Cilento ragù, pork loin stuffed with potatoes, and strawberries with cream. It cost €20 per person, excluding drinks and table service. Everything was excellent. Thank you for your kindness. The restaurant is new and well-kept, spotlessly clean, and the à la carte menu is reasonably priced. A great find. We'll be back...and I recommend it.

19/10/2025: If I could, I'd give it more stars.
I called around 1:00 PM to ask if they did home delivery, and they immediately said yes. We decided what to deliver and where.
I ate excellent macaroni with provolone cheese, chicken cutlet, and baked potatoes. This is what I ordered. Not only did I find the portions very generous, but Mr. Rossano had the foresight to think of everything; in addition to cutlery, I found fruit, bread, and even a little dessert. Everything was more than appreciated, so much so that I was able to eat both lunch and dinner.
Quality, freshness, and deliciousness.
An honorable mention also goes to Rossano's courtesy and kindness.
02/09/2025: Authentic and tasty dishes, fresh vegetables and excellent cheeses. The pizza is delicious, soft and made with quality ingredients.

17/07/2026: Excellent experience, very kind staff
I especially wanted to thank Chiara, our waitress, who was exceptional: she listened and fulfilled all our requests, even the most unusual ones, always responding with a warm smile.
The entire staff was very helpful. We also really appreciated the speed of the kitchen and the great willingness to handle separate bills for different families right from the moment we placed our orders: a convenience that isn't always found.
We felt pampered and were very satisfied. We will definitely be back.
