06/04/2026: Authentic Campania cuisine, sometimes revisited with respect. One of those places where time slows down, conversation is savored in a delightful way and in harmony with the food, which becomes the fulcrum of an experience, lived, passed down, and shared. Highly recommended!

06/04/2026: I expected more. Nice but impersonal. Only one person tending the tables, so we sat for two hours to eat an appetizer and a first course... and honestly, a scarpariello shouldn't cost 14 euros... I won't be back.

06/04/2026: Although seating is limited to the outdoors, there are patio heaters and it's a lovely, green space. The service is excellent, the wine delicious, and the food wonderfully flavorful.

15/02/2026: My husband and I had dinner at this small restaurant in the historic center of Naples. The place is small but welcoming, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the menu offers many interesting options and bold pairings, as well as mouth-watering daily specials. We tried a charcuterie and cheese platter, a Genoese-style beef dish, a sea bass with prawns on a bed of mashed potatoes, cherry tomatoes, and green beans, and a berry cheesecake. We found everything delicious and beautifully presented. I would have preferred the sea bass to be more flavorful; perhaps it lacked the flavor that could have enhanced it more, but overall, I enjoyed it. Although we found the water price a bit steep (€2.50 for 50cl), we enjoyed it and are curious to try other dishes, so we'll definitely be back!

30/03/2026: If you choose one restaurant in Sorrento to visit, be sure to choose this one. We went multiple times and had great food every time. The service was friendly and prompt and we were recognized and welcomed back each time. The prices were reasonable for the quality and flavors of the food. Our favorites were the Parmigiana di Melanzane, omelettes, and the cappuccinos.

21/01/2026: My review is actually a very long compliment! I've been coming to Naples for years, and this place has become my home! I choose it whether it's lunch on a single day's vacation or dinner for a longer stay... the place is spotless, with historic features that reflect the traditional utensils, but also modern, like the table plating and QR code menus. The style is there and it shows, the food is nothing less than a culinary narration of the city! Simple typical dishes, which seem to come from grandma's kitchen, meatballs with sauce and broccoli, and pasta and potatoes, my favorite dish (since the first times it was served in the grater) taste of tradition and passion, the service then there are guys with a will and availability... the compliment goes to the owners, over the years now I think (5-6) you have never lost, as often happens, indeed despite the competition that exists in this sector, they manage to be the best, quality products and care, with fair prices, I challenge anyone to find another place like this! Go there, book, it's better and try the Tiramisu!! See you next time

02/04/2026: Our first pizza in Naples and the best we've ever eaten. Of course, you can't compare a Neapolitan pizza to a German one, but this one was truly delicious! The owner is very friendly and caters to every request. Thank you for this culinary delight. We ordered four different pizzas, and all of them were fantastic. Excellent value for money.

26/03/2026: A highly recommended restaurant. The owners' hospitality and the staff's efficiency and friendliness made the lunch even more delicious. The meat and seafood appetizers were very good. The location is truly convenient, being close to the port of Naples (Pisacane Pier, ferry terminal), and just a short walk from the Borgo Orefici neighborhood. Easily accessible by metro, Università stop, tram, and bus.

10/03/2026: Good pizza, Neapolitan style but not too wet, choice of special and traditional flavors, quiet place to get away from the frenzy of Via Toledo and eat a good pizza, recommended.

03/03/2026: One of the best pizzerias in Naples, without a doubt! Here you can experience the true Neapolitan pizza tradition: extremely light, fluffy, and airy dough, with a high, fragrant crust. The ingredients are top-quality. Every bite is a perfect balance of flavors. The Margherita, in its simplicity, is a masterpiece. The service is fast, friendly, and always with a smile. If you want to taste authentic Neapolitan pizza, the kind that stays in your heart, this is the place. An experience absolutely worth having!

02/04/2026: Cute cafe that was very popular (people queuing for tables outside!). They offer a lunch menu which includes a combo of 2 dishes for 7€ or 3 for 9€. The dishes are a slightly odd mix of salads, pasta, houmous, veggies but hit the spot and such good value. There’s also main salads and vegetable burgers on the rest of the menu. We couldn’t stay for dessert but the menu looked great - cheesecake, cannoli and more!

20/03/2026: We just wanted to have a coffee and a light snack, just the two of us, and ended up paying a whopping €17.80. The Zeppelin di San Giuseppe cost €5! and tasted like nothing. We also had to pay a €2 service charge for the 10 minutes we were there, and they offered us water, which is usually free with coffee, but charged us €1 for it. The atmosphere is unfortunately very unpleasant, and we couldn't even sit outside. The cappuccino was okay, but rather below average and, at €3.50, also a bit more expensive than in nearby cafes. So, all in all, I can't recommend it.

20/03/2026: If you want to experience gourmet dining while traveling in Italy, I highly recommend this place. The interior is beautiful, the service is friendly, and the taste is perfect. Aside from the fact that it requires a car to access, making it difficult for tourists to get there, it is a truly wonderful experience, so I highly recommend visiting. The price, taste, and service all get a perfect score—it’s hard to believe that you can get a meal with three starters for just 65 euros per person!

27/02/2026: A spontaneous lunch visit and a pleasant surprise. Small restaurant, friendly service, and excellent pizza and parmigiana. Highly recommended when visiting the Vomero district.

14/02/2026: Great pizza and very friendly service. Nice to see a baby highchair available and clean toilet facilities. The ‘cover charge’ was a slight surprise when paying the bill but it seems to be a fairly standard Naples thing.

13/04/2026: This is the best best best pasta you would find in Sorrento! It’s so good that we had to come twice in our 3 days visit. It’s exceptionally well cooked. It’s with no doubt a home-cooked restaurant. Please make yourself a favor and try it. I’m vegetarian and had the zucchini spaghetti and the gnocchi à la sorrentina. Incredibly good! The service is great! The stuff is super friendly. Thank you!!!

13/04/2026: Imposible to only eat here once during your trip. I now live in italy and I've had my fair share of good pastas in various cities and towns, but this place, somewhat tucked away off a side street, just has some of the best and freshest tasting pastas I think I've ever eaten. No frills, just pure heartfelt food. A trip to sorrento would be incomplete without at least one meal at Semola
