31/08/2024: It is already the second time that I return to this place when I come to Naples... The food is really very good if you want to try typical traditional flavours. The hanging objects that are present throughout the room are suggestive. The staff is welcoming and warm! Advised!

21/08/2024: Today I came to have dinner with my father-in-law and my pregnant wife and what can I say... it was a spectacular evening for both the eyes and the palate. Already from the welcome the staff of the Hotel Angiolieri, where the restaurant is located, made us feel truly pampered. The dinner was then a succession of visual and gustatory surprises thanks to the culinary intuitions of the "Signature" menu by chef De Simone who, through explanations of the various courses, guided us on his journey of memories linked to the Vicano territory, traveling between seas and mountains. The location is also fabulous with a terrace overlooking the sea from which it seems like you can touch Vico and Marina di Aequa. Personally, I didn't know that the restaurant was open to outsiders and it was a very pleasant surprise that I highly recommend to everyone. Absolutely worth repeating!

04/09/2024: Exceptional bar that serves excellent quality aperitifs at very accessible prices, with impeccable service and above all a breathtaking location. To underline the availability and courtesy of the owner who helped me find a lost object in the bar, opening the bar doors for me at a prohibitive time due to my needs.

The pizza then reigns supreme with a unique goodness, melting in your mouth. We organized an evening here at Gaetano Paolella's for my daughter's eighteenth birthday. All the guests were amazed by everything from the venue to the service to the food. We had a great time. And we sincerely thank Gaetano Paolella and his staff. Thank you so much

05/08/2024: Beautiful discovery!!! Starting from the appetizer, delicious pasta and montanarine omelette, no less arancino and croquettes. Then we moved on to the choice of pizzas and chose the ortolana (super light), the Neapolitan, the pulled pork and potato (space) and the porchetta and potatoes in the pan (a much appreciated technique). Perfect service…we will be back!

18/08/2024: Nice outdoor terrace, with a remarkable view. Slightly on the hill, it is an excellent escape route on hot, muggy evenings. You eat well and spend the right amount.

11/08/2024: Il locale è spazioso e molto bello ed il cibo è sempre stato ottimo, però l'ultima volta qualcosa è cambiato. Innanzitutto il panino (che è sempre stato di ottima qualità e ben preparato) aveva una quantità di formaggio così esagerata da essere quasi nauseante. Inoltre, ci hanno fatto accomodare nella terrazza esterna dove non c'era aria condizionata o ventilatori e faceva caldissimo. Oltre a ciò, ci hanno servito tutto molto velocemente facendo notare che volevano liberare presto i tavoli. Capisco che sia un locale gettonato, ma se una cena fuori deve essere così stressante allora è meglio andare altrove e godersi una serata tranquilla.

26/07/2024: I had the opportunity to have lunch during a communion, certainly a very nice location, now a must for restaurants. The room was relatively small, and well air conditioned. The courses were quite quick and the service of the waiters was impeccable but alas I did not perceive the quality of the food I ate BUT ONLY!!!! probably by virtue of the menu chosen or the cost per person? I wonder, if it really were, wouldn't it be better to find a better compromise between the cost of lunch per person and the quality of the food offered?

Per questo e tanto altro torno in questo ristorante ogni volta con la stessa alta aspettativa, che viene sempre soddisfatta. 5 stelle meritatissime per una realtà che merita il vanto di tutta la zona!
