Such a fun experience at David Gelateria in Sorrento! Our group took part in the “Gelato Artigianale” demonstration and loved every minute of it. Executive Chef Mr. Mario “David” Gargiulo was fantastic — funny, welcoming, and incredibly passionate about making gelato. And the gelato itself? Absolutely delicious… honestly the best I’ve had in Italy! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Sorrento!!

Excellent gelato in Sorrento, many delicious flavors. Among our favorite ice creams we have had in Italy. Lots of seating so good place to take a break, relax, and enjoy delicious gelato. Kid friendly. Friendly and good service.

Don't miss a trip to David Gelateria when you are in Sorrento!!! Absolutely the best Gelato on the planet! And if you can take one of his classes, make sure you do. Executive Chef David is a master Gelato maker. He is funny and engaging and gives so many interesting facts, not to mention the recipes for various flavors of Gelato. One of our most memorable experiences!

09/06/2026: Chosen at random and I didn't regret it at all, the best meal I had in Naples... pizza 8 euros with water and cover 11 euros, arrived halfway, couldn't take it anymore but I wanted to finish it because I didn't want to carry it with me, then very light, waited like 8 minutes to have it at the table
09/06/2026: Small but cozy place, excellent pizza, friendly owner, average prices. The potato croquettes with sausage and broccoli rabe are outstanding. Highly recommended. Update: I returned today with a friend and had a complete baked calzone with cigoli, which was a delight. Highly recommended.

31/05/2026: As usual the pizzas are impeccable, the staff equally so.
31/05/2026: The place has been recently renovated and is very nice for those who want to eat with two or more people. The products are good and, most importantly, they don't weigh you down. The prices are fair in my opinion and the staff is qualified and friendly.
