08/03/2024: Dinner at the “Pizza e Buon” restaurant in Santa Maria la Carità was an overall delicious experience. The appetizer with omelettes and montanara opened the appetite magnificently, presenting authentic flavors and impeccable preparation. The three pizzas ordered – raw, cherry tomatoes, rocket and flakes; a classic margherita with chips; and a specialty with confit cherry tomatoes and provolone del monaco – demonstrated the mastery of the pizza chef and the freshness of the ingredients. The pizza with raw ham was a triumph of well-balanced flavours, while the one with provolone del monaco stood out for its aromatic richness. The only flaw of the evening was the margherita with chips, which unfortunately was slightly burnt. However, this small hiccup didn't detract from the overall experience, which remains worthy of a solid 4 out of 5 star rating.
