17/05/2025: I can say that it is not a very welcoming place, a bare place without harmony but it has a beautiful view, the food is satisfying, the wine is good, the service is a bit slow but kind, the price is good

20/04/2025: Bad experience, it should be noted that we booked a month in advance despite not knowing the place. We were on Easter Sunday in a crowded environment with a non-existent reservation at all organised. The owner was amazed and mortified and despite this he organized us with makeshift tables and chairs. We spent 40 euros per person for an Easter lunch which was certainly worth 25. The quality and quantity of the dishes were certainly mediocre. Concluding 1 star for food, service and environment. There are better places than this in the area. The only positive note.... the view. We definitely won't be returning.

28/03/2025: Unattainable and welcoming family management, be wary of large meters and chef artifacts. Rather, go there and very simply ask Nunzia & Family (congratulations) what they recommend for you to enjoy, let them do it. Don't expect super comfortable Grand Hotel type reception rooms, this is the True South of beautiful Italy if you allow me. In any case, the environment and bathroom are very clean, equipped with sufficient accessories although within limited spaces. They are not a pizzeria. Right choice. Go ahead like this. Chapeau!

01/05/2025: Disappointing experience and terrible service I went to this place for an aperitif and unfortunately it was an experience to forget. I had to wait a good 30 minutes to order, even though the place wasn't so crowded as to justify such a slowness. The waiters, visibly tired and under pressure, struggled to keep up with orders — they seemed exploited rather than employed. The situation got worse when it was time to pay: having chosen to pay with the debit card (POS) rather than in cash, the lady at the checkout reacted extremely rudely, literally throwing the terminal at me with obvious annoyance. An unacceptable attitude. A place that completely lacks respect for the customer, and honestly also for its staff. I won't go back and I don't recommend it to anyone.

18/03/2025: Tuvimos la suerte de tener Perfectoo justo debajo de donde estábamos alojados, así que hizo que fuera muy conveniente para nosotros ir a desayunar por la mañana. Una mañana comimos capuchinos con un cornetto vegano y un Fagottino al cioccolato. Otra mañana, disfrutamos de capuchinos con las más deliciosas Sfogliatellas. Tenemos un panini de jamón y queso con patatas fritas y una coca-cola cero para llevar a nuestra habitación para el almuerzo. Quedamos muy contentos con todas nuestras selecciones. La comida era fresca y deliciosa.

23/09/2024: VESEVIUS is a small but modern structure set on the promontory of Castellammare which looks out over the Gulf of Naples thus offering a splendid panorama from its terrace, unfortunately only ruined by the Fincantieri shipyard below. Service staff with discreet professionalism and appreciable courtesy. The courses offered à la carte, however, are barely sufficient: we, introduced to the taste by a small plate of zeppoline offered by the house, initially choose a seafood appetizer and two different risottos as a first course. The impact is not extraordinary: products and raw materials appear only acceptable; the dishes consequently, in our singular experience, lacking any peculiar and promised flavor and never capable of proliferating taste emotions and which, therefore, do not invite an encore, much less a continuation, despite a decent execution with the "Risotto with turbot and pistachio". However, the chef's choice is disruptive, presenting a "fisherman's risotto" filled with sauce and cherry tomatoes, thus debasing, as well as tradition, every flavor and aftertaste of the sea, even more so with an unacceptable and excessive use of salt which leaves the writer's palate undaunted, inhibiting any further action. The wine list speaks for itself: just one glass of white is enough to discover its Discountian origins! Service Notes: mise en place limited to napkin and cutlery rest; access from the car park below is difficult and unpopular with those who fear "climbing"; prices not very low especially in relation to the overall offer; P.S. At the reception they hold the car keys: perhaps they fear that someone will escape prematurely? Stuff you wouldn't believe!

22/09/2024: Quality of food good, average I'd say for being in the south! Not enough fish and too much oil as a condiment, I would do the opposite since we are talking about fish cuisine. Perfect fried! When paying, they didn't respect the fork discount percentage perfectly, in fact they didn't give me the receipt with the related discounts... It doesn't matter, but more professionalism is needed!

01/06/2025: I am very satisfied with the ice cream I got for €2.50 because it was very filling (despite it being a small cone) and also quite good. Nice environment and courteous staff. I recommend it.

17/05/2025: Ice cream served at too low a temperature, the inside was half frozen. The flavors were not recognizable from each other. I reported it to the staff at the ice cream shop who told me that they only served it, but that the laboratory prepared it. It was not easy to put it on the cone because of the hard consistency. I have been to this place other times and they have always served me excellent products. But after this TERRIBLE ice cream and this unpleasant response I will definitely never go back! (a non-branded tub in a supermarket is 1000 times better for sure).

Prezzi sproporzionati e non adeguati a quella.che dovrebbe essere una pizzeria di quartiere. Il costo di una pizza, mediamente 13,00 €, non è rappresenta la proporzione qualità, quantità e prezzo. SINCERAMENTE C'È DI MEGLIO E A PREZZO INFERIORI.

17/05/2025: Both ordered a gluten free Margherita and a gluten free Marinara at this place. My initial when first starting eating where “Wow they must have mixed up, this is not gluten free.” But after checking the receipt and not having any reaction afterwards, I came to realize that this must have been the best gluten free pizza I have ever had! And still after half a year living in Italy I haven’t found a possible treat to that price. Moreover the staff were super friendly - I do not have anything more to say then 10/10.

12/01/2025: Have tried many Pizzerias in Castellammare di Stabia in the past 3 years i’ve been living here. Zio Peppe is in my top 2 list of best pizza in Napoli.
