11/02/2026: Just had an incredible meal at Osteria Estoria in Piano di Sorrento, and it exceeded every expectation. The food was nothing short of amazing - fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared with that perfect mix of traditional Campanian soul and creative flair. Every dish felt like a little masterpiece. The service was fantastic too - warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making the whole evening feel special. If you’re in the Sorrento area and want delicious food in a cozy, intimate spot, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend. 😋🍝

10/02/2026: It's not my first time eating here, but after always having fantastic experiences, I can say without hesitation that it's one of the best restaurants on the Sorrento Peninsula. We chose the mixed antipasto for two with octopus, potato parmigiana, and shrimp, as well as two sharing plates: everything was truly delicious. The first courses were excellent, with a special mention for the Genovese, exquisite, with a beautiful piece of meat that melted in your mouth. The desserts were also excellent. Highly recommended.

Isola verde pizza reminded us of one we had in Lucca once...no tomato sauce, just butter, rocket, delicious cheese and ham. 03/01/2026: We returned for two dinners in a row, a sign that everything was delicious. There were nine of us, so we practically tried the entire menu and didn't find a single dish disappointing. I recommend the pasta alla genovese and the octopus alla Luciana, but the pasta alla Nerano is also excellent.

02/01/2026: We were two Asian visitors and had a reservation for 8:00 PM. Since it was the day after January 1st, we even called ahead to confirm the restaurant was open. After struggling up the hill to get there, we were told there was a "system error" with our reservation and asked to wait "only 10 minutes." After waiting 10 minutes and asking again, we were told that the "10 minutes" meant waiting until other customers had finished their food and left. When we explained that we had a valid reservation and had even called to confirm, they said it wasn't their fault and that there was nothing they could do about it due to the system error. No apology, no responsibility. Just "if you want, wait." Service like this is unacceptable. A place that treats customers like this deserves to fail.

29/12/2025: Delicatessen (or perhaps it would be better to call it a grocery store given the vast selection of products available) with a kitchen in the center of Pompeii (no pizza). Friendly and attentive service, a unique atmosphere (you eat surrounded by products, wines, jars of local specialties, pasta, etc.), and truly excellent traditional cuisine. We recommend the traditional appetizer, pasta with potatoes and provola, Genovese, and stuffed escarole. The desserts are also delicious. The price is average for the quality: eight of us ordered three appetizers (each is meant for two people but is very generous), two bottles of Fiano, six pasta dishes to share, several bottles of water, and the same number of desserts, and we spent €35 each.

27/12/2025: A bistro that rivals any restaurant. Always a wide selection of first and second courses, which are always excellent. I don't know how they do it, but the zucchini alla scapece is spectacular and a must-try. Highly recommended!

18/02/2026: I went there for a business dinner. Some colleagues are vegan, so we opted for this place. The atmosphere was quiet and pleasant. The service was good, and the staff was friendly. For those who aren't vegan, it might be the right place to try something new.

The food was abundant and delicious, the staff attentive to every detail and present with discretion and kindness. Impeccable organization allowed us to experience every moment without worries, following a natural and harmonious rhythm. A special thanks goes to Gianni, the owner: a rare, honest, and always available person, who accompanied us with heart and professionalism, becoming our point of reference. 07/02/2026: Overpriced. No sure what is the hype about. The food was very average and expensive for the surroundings. The tomato sauce was rather bland, unfortunately. Microwave heating is also a turn off.

20/11/2025: The restaurant has been completely renovated and is now a grill restaurant serving a wide selection of meats, all of which are aged in plain sight. I often go there for their rich antipasto with traditional and seasonal products. I highly recommend it.
