Isola verde pizza reminded us of one we had in Lucca once...no tomato sauce, just butter, rocket, delicious cheese and ham. The patate fritte were incredible - light as a feather inside, crispy on the outside; amazing 😍 Service friendly and efficient. Cannot fault this place. Thanks to Google reviews we found it 👌🏼👏🏼

16/03/2026: The gelato was excellent but the cannoli’s were old and stale. The cone for the gelato is also very stale. I would not recommend.

01/03/2026: A friend of mine and I went to "Anima e Pizza" on Valentine's Day. We had reservations, so they seated us as soon as we arrived. Parking near the restaurant was also pretty easy. The wait was about ten minutes. We ordered the pizzas pictured (a croccopizza and a margherita) and a bottle of still water. The pizza was a little thin for my taste, but the flavor was excellent (and super light!). We paid €10 each... top price for the area!

03/01/2026: We returned for two dinners in a row, a sign that everything was delicious. There were nine of us, so we practically tried the entire menu and didn't find a single dish disappointing. I recommend the pasta alla genovese and the octopus alla Luciana, but the pasta alla Nerano is also excellent.

02/01/2026: We were two Asian visitors and had a reservation for 8:00 PM. Since it was the day after January 1st, we even called ahead to confirm the restaurant was open. After struggling up the hill to get there, we were told there was a "system error" with our reservation and asked to wait "only 10 minutes." After waiting 10 minutes and asking again, we were told that the "10 minutes" meant waiting until other customers had finished their food and left. When we explained that we had a valid reservation and had even called to confirm, they said it wasn't their fault and that there was nothing they could do about it due to the system error. No apology, no responsibility. Just "if you want, wait." Service like this is unacceptable. A place that treats customers like this deserves to fail.

22/03/2026: They stop me outside and say, "You feel right at home here." Interesting. I ask, "Is the food made to order?" The young man replies, "My mother cooks, and this is my father." I see it's all true, and I go in. The menu is extensive, so you're spoiled for choice. Excellent food. Super fresh buffalo mozzarella, fish that seems freshly caught, clams as big as mussels... and top-notch service! For those who love the authentic flavors of Neapolitan cuisine! Highly recommended!! 👍👍👍

29/12/2025: Delicatessen (or perhaps it would be better to call it a grocery store given the vast selection of products available) with a kitchen in the center of Pompeii (no pizza). Friendly and attentive service, a unique atmosphere (you eat surrounded by products, wines, jars of local specialties, pasta, etc.), and truly excellent traditional cuisine. We recommend the traditional appetizer, pasta with potatoes and provola, Genovese, and stuffed escarole. The desserts are also delicious. The price is average for the quality: eight of us ordered three appetizers (each is meant for two people but is very generous), two bottles of Fiano, six pasta dishes to share, several bottles of water, and the same number of desserts, and we spent €35 each.

27/12/2025: A bistro that rivals any restaurant. Always a wide selection of first and second courses, which are always excellent. I don't know how they do it, but the zucchini alla scapece is spectacular and a must-try. Highly recommended!

28/03/2026: I was invited to a wedding in the spring and everything was wonderful! It's a beautifully appointed reception hall with a breathtaking view... not to mention the refined, locally sourced food. Impeccable, nothing more to add!
