16/10/2025: Exceptional food and service. Really appreciated the vibe and the hustle of the staff trying to usher people off the street in. They are doing everyone a favor by doing so, trust me, because the food is fantastic! This was in walking distance of our hotel so it was a nice break from the formal sit down dinners we had because we were able to walk down in comfortable clothes and just grab and take to go. Delicious pizza and my husband couldn't rave enough about the bolognese. I would highly recommend this if you are in the area!

The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, the place is meticulously maintained, yet still maintains that simplicity that makes you feel instantly at home. A special thanks goes to Ilaria, part of the staff: always smiling, kind, and super professional. She's excellent at her job, attentive to every detail, and always ready to recommend the perfect dish with expertise and charm. 23/10/2025: MY HOMETOWN IS ONE HOUR FROM NAPOLI, I was niter by my nephew 2 years to dine at CARMELA.’ , we Own Calderazzo Cucina Italians in Bangkok , Ihave had the opportunity to dine in some of the best restaurants and Eating places of Italy : without any hesitation at all I think Trattoria da Carmela is outstanding in the assurance of providing the real traditional Cucina Napoletana , curated by a gracious man ROSARIO , the scion of the family that has been running this restaurant for almost 60 years . Food excellently true Neapolitan blue, Service most attentive , Wines extensive selections, Atmosphere a charming Retro’ so much in line with BELLINI Theatre a few meters away .

21/10/2025: A well-kept and clean atmosphere. Excellent welcome, excellent service, and entertainment from Carlo. He was happy to recommend what to eat and give us tips for our vacation. A quick joke to entertain the entire dining room. I don't know any adjectives with enough superlatives to describe the deliciousness of the food we ate.

28/09/2025: We went for lunch today, best to book as they are often full on Sundays. We had the average appetizer of excellent quality cured meats, as well as the first courses and the meat. They are 10 stars for the food, the prices are fair for what you eat.

13/09/2025: We ordered takeout pizzas, but when we picked them up, we were informed that they'd forgotten about our order, and we waited an hour for them to be delivered. The restaurant's only redeeming feature is the nice atmosphere and the decent pizzas.

02/10/2025: A restaurant in a very central location for those visiting the village of Sant Agata de' Goti. The restaurant occupies a significant portion of the village's ancient Ducal Castle; the conservative renovation was well done! Indeed, you can still see the vaults, the stones, and the architectural features of the ancient castle, creating a classic and calm atmosphere; even the lighting is unobtrusive, as is the background music. The staff is discreet and professional, with that local flair I look for when I'm out discovering new places and experiencing new things. The restaurant offers both meat and seafood menus. I tried to break the traditional local tradition (we're in the hills, after all) and chose a typical seafood menu. I must say, I was amazed by the freshness of the ingredients! The quality and preparation of the first course (trofie with vingole and pistachio), the mixed fried fish, and the appetizer of anchovies and octopus salad, etc., could seriously undermine coastal cuisine! Not to mention the fish (sea bass) I tasted on my wife's plate, which was definitely not farmed. I don't think there's a similar place in the entire Taburno Regional Park area that offers a seafood menu of this caliber! I had a great time and highly recommend it based on everything I've already written. I also recommend making a reservation because the place has a medium-low capacity of about 50 people, and if they don't have seats, they simply let you know, without rushing diners or creating long lines of new customers at the entrance. Excellent! The corner with their own local products is also nice. Finally, the price was more than fair for what I ate, in fact, below average. I will definitely be back!

24/08/2025: Polite, kind, and competent staff. We had lobster linguine. Divinely cooked and presented even better. Mussels with pepper sauce, absolutely fresh and high-quality. Fried anchovies, a first-rate fried dish. Highly recommended. Very fresh, high-quality products.
