29/08/2025: Fantastic experience from start to finish. My wife and I ate here for her birthday dinner, and the chef and staff were extremely hospitable. The food was some of the best we have ever had, and the atmosphere was wonderful. HIGHLY recommend this restaurant if visiting Pozzuoli!

07/09/2025: My first experience ever at a restaurant with tastings, 11/10 rating. Excellent staff, excellent chefs. The dishes were so beautiful they seemed so horrible to eat. I was very, very satisfied. I'll definitely be back. P.S. Advice: SCRAPPING THE PASTA is a great way to make a mop of bread. They like it. Thank you so much for everything. See you next time.

06/06/2025: Weer heerlijk genoten van het 'chef menu's van Chef Vincenzo Cucolo in restaurant Aquadulcis in Valle della Lucania, wat een feest. Met behoud van smaak weet hij je telkens weer te verrassen met gerechten bijna te mooi opgemaakt om op te eten. Hoewel het restaurant al enkele jaren een vermelding in de Michelingids heeft is voor ons is iedere gang is een Michelin ster waard. De wijnen zorgvuldig uitgezocht door sommelier Francesco zijn een smaakvolle aanvulling op de gerechten.

04/09/2025: I had planned in advance to visit this pizzeria, but as I approached, the receptionist at the entrance was so insistent that I actually considered changing my plans and going elsewhere. In the end, I decided to go in. The prices are on the higher side: the cheapest pizza is the margherita at €8, but most options start at around €14, and you’ll pay €18 for a special pizza (except one). Their special recipes looked very appetizing, and the pizza I had was indeed very good—just what you’d expect in the Napoli area. However, the wine is overpriced, with a glass starting at €8; I’ve had better for €6 elsewhere in Napoli. On a positive note, the complimentary limoncello at the end was a nice touch. This is clearly a tourist-oriented restaurant, catering especially to large groups. During dinner, someone from the restaurant played American songs on the guitar, which I found a bit annoying and stressful, especially when he was right behind me. Some big American groups seemed to enjoy it, though. Twice in less than an hour, the lights were turned off to celebrate someone’s birthday. My waiter was very pleasant and much quieter than most of the staff, which I appreciated. However, other waiters kept bumping into my chair as they moved around. Overall, this wasn’t quite what I was looking for that evening, but your mileage may vary.

04/09/2025: We came across this little gem while wailing down toward the beach and decided to stop in for some take away pizza. We thought it was just a small shop with a kitchen but they led us to a back area that was large and inviting. Fans encircle the room to keep it cool and natural lighting shines above your head yet you’re protected from the elements above. IL RUTTINO is a must when you visit Sorrento.

14/08/2025: Last night, while passing through Salerno, we decided to stop for a platter and a caponata at this delicatessen with an inviting window display and fresh cured meats. We ordered a bottle of water, a platter, and a caponata. They paid for the bottle of water, but they brought us a glass bottle with their name on it, opened and refilled who knows how many times, or from who knows where. The platter: capicollo salami and prosciutto crudo with hard cheeses that oozed oily sweat, as if it had been prepared hours earlier, sliced earlier and kept warm, or salvaged from who knows where. The caponata wasn't bad... except for the buffalo mozzarella, dry, milk-free, and pre-sliced, no one knows who made it. I'm not inclined to write these negative reviews, but we didn't sleep last night, our stomachs were upset! Guys, be careful, because you don't joke around with people's health. We paid and thanked you, but you will definitely never see us again.

13/08/2025: A pleasant surprise! Antonella (I hope I'm not mistaken) delighted us with a platter of excellent cured meats, including a culatello that you can't even eat in Parma, assorted cheeses with jam and honey, and a buffalo mozzarella that we've never tasted so good! A rich salad, beautifully seasoned! All served with little wait and a smile, despite the constant flow of new customers. The dessert could be improved.

07/09/2025: Tourist trap. Don’t bother. Pasta is just ok. Very average food. Staff are extremely rude and dismissive. We had pre booked but were ignored by all waiting staff for at least 10 minuets despite there being free tables and staff members walking round not serving. They also charge you 3€ for mineral water which was clearly just a used mineral water bottle refilled with tap water as the seal was broken on the lid and there were water stains on the neck of the bottle from where it had been used/washed before. The Parmesan they use is pre-grated from a packet, not good quality. Experience felt rushed once we sat down and staff were pretty consistently rude throughout.

23/07/2025: The best restaurant in Cetara, hands down. The hostess was incredibly kind, and the fish was delicious. We had an exceptional grilled fish platter, with a special mention for the tuna: tender, flavorful, and phenomenal. The icing on the cake was the lemon dessert, a must-try! We'll be back!

07/07/2025: We had such a good time the first night, we came three nights in a row until we left Cetara! The food is utterly amazing! Great portion sizes, full of flavour, super fresh, generous wine pours, interesting options with every catch of the day. And of course, Signora Nadia. The best hostess in town! Grazie mille, Signora. We had a truly amazing time (incredibile, non soprendente! 😂) We will miss you! 🥹 Con amore dall'Australia.
