03/01/2026: We returned for two dinners in a row, a sign that everything was delicious. There were nine of us, so we practically tried the entire menu and didn't find a single dish disappointing. I recommend the pasta alla genovese and the octopus alla Luciana, but the pasta alla Nerano is also excellent.

02/01/2026: We were two Asian visitors and had a reservation for 8:00 PM. Since it was the day after January 1st, we even called ahead to confirm the restaurant was open. After struggling up the hill to get there, we were told there was a "system error" with our reservation and asked to wait "only 10 minutes." After waiting 10 minutes and asking again, we were told that the "10 minutes" meant waiting until other customers had finished their food and left. When we explained that we had a valid reservation and had even called to confirm, they said it wasn't their fault and that there was nothing they could do about it due to the system error. No apology, no responsibility. Just "if you want, wait." Service like this is unacceptable. A place that treats customers like this deserves to fail.

29/12/2025: Delicatessen (or perhaps it would be better to call it a grocery store given the vast selection of products available for purchase) with a kitchen in the center of Pompeii (no pizza). Friendly and attentive service, a unique atmosphere (you eat surrounded by products, wines, jars of local specialties, pasta, etc.), and truly excellent traditional cuisine. We recommend the traditional appetizer, pasta with potatoes and provola, Genovese, and stuffed escarole. The desserts are also delicious. The price is average for the quality: eight of us ordered three appetizers (each is meant for two people but is very generous), two bottles of Fiano, six pasta dishes to share, several bottles of water, and as many desserts, and we spent €35 each.

27/12/2025: A bistro that rivals any restaurant. Always a wide selection of first and second courses, which are always excellent. I don't know how they do it, but the zucchini alla scapece is spectacular and a must-try. Highly recommended!

17/01/2026: A wonderful evening spent with friends, including a spa and a sublime dinner. Special dishes, beautifully presented, and excellent value. Extensive wine list. The soft-boiled egg and beef fillet were delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast.

Fast service and very friendly staff, always smiling and helpful. The atmosphere is welcoming and well-kept. We received a free pen, a simple but appreciated gesture that doesn't go unnoticed. Thanks to them, I recommend it, we created an interactive backdrop with an attached playground for the children, which allowed us all to peacefully enjoy the day. 23/12/2025: I've always wanted to celebrate an event at Villa Taurinus because the venue's sheer beauty is undeniable. So, for my son's baptism, I finally chose it, and I would choose it a thousand times over! I found everything to be perfect. Rosita's attention to detail in the setup was impeccable! Not to mention the lunch, which was excellent both in terms of quality and the preparation and presentation of the dishes. Overall, I'm very happy with my choice and highly recommend it.

13/10/2025: Previously reviewed under a different account, still mine, I'm posting it again on this new account. ... It happens, sometimes you ask for directions to a place to eat and then... Yes, then you hope to meet the same person the next day so you can thank them... I was enchanted, it felt like entering another dimension where you have to leave your worries behind and enjoy the evening... .... What can I say? The staff was competent, extremely kind, attentive, and, for me, "smiling." The service was precise and fast, the dishes were well-presented and even better cooked, from appetizer to dessert a riot of flavors. Thank you all, a great team of young people who work well... I also appreciated the harmony I perceived among the staff, attentive, serious, but very relaxed. There's everything you need to make the occasional diner or regular customer feel at ease. Leave your worries aside and let yourself be pampered... One thing's for sure: I'll be back!!! Oh, I forgot, the prices.... I blessed every euro I spent this evening, 40 euros that I'll never regret. I hope it can be helpful to those like me who are looking for a "special" place for an unforgettable evening.

Choosing this villa was one of the most beautiful gifts we could have given ourselves: everything was simply perfect. The food was abundant and delicious, the staff attentive to every detail and present with discretion and kindness. Impeccable organization allowed us to experience every moment without worries, following a natural and harmonious rhythm. A special thanks goes to Gianni, the owner: a rare, honest, and always available person, who accompanied us with heart and professionalism, becoming our point of reference. 20/11/2025: The restaurant has been completely renovated and is now a grill restaurant serving a wide selection of meats, all of which are aged in plain sight. I often go there for their rich antipasto with traditional and seasonal products. I highly recommend it.
