13/01/2025: The products are unique! The best taralli I've ever eaten. One of the siblings said that he had the best wheat in the entire region and he was right. The pasta is also excellent and the Cisto Rosso has become my absolute favorite red wine. Tasted the various à la carte starters: spectacular local Angus carpaccio with excellent burratina, cardoncelli, broad beans and chicory and freshly made cruschi peppers The first courses are good and in particular the loaf filled with orecchiette and turnip tops. Selection of Aglianico from various excellent quality wineries. Highly recommended!!!. Kind and friendly staff, especially the legendary Gaetano, restaurant manager

11/11/2024: Last night I had dinner here with my boyfriend, there's no doubt about it, it was the best pizza I've ever eaten. I am lactose and also nickel intolerant but this was absolutely not a problem as the staff served me a pizza with lactose-free mozzarella. Even though I decided of my own free will to try foods that are not allowed in my diet, I had a really good time, unlike other pizzerias. The pizza, in addition to being good, is really light and you are spoiled for choice. Fresh and delicious products. Friendly and helpful staff. Perhaps the only flaw is that the music is a little too loud for my tastes. I can't wait to go back.

26/01/2025: Situato nella parte alta del Sasso Caveoso, ai confini con il centro storico di Matera è un ristorante ambientato in un edificio tipico del Sasso che si sviluppa scendendo sotto il livello della strada. Gestito in modo familiare con personale disponibile e loquace. Molto buona la cucina base di prodotti tipici della Lucania. Nella sala più profonda (livello cantina) è allestita una piccola sala cinema dove vengono proiettati e riproposti a ciclo continuo spezzoni di film girati a Matera.

05/01/2025: Not really a place to recommend for various reasons, of lack of communication between the kitchen and the dining room first and foremost, unprofessional waiters, raw meat sent back to the kitchen for the same reason, beer finished at 8pm on Saturday evening both in bottles and on tap, bill of Randomly made pizzas average according to the waiter. So not to be recommended.

04/01/2025: I recommend this location: the location of the restaurant is suggestive and characteristic, excellent food, excellent and courteous service. Every customer is welcomed with a smile. Scenography and furnishings that go well with the room created from an old water collection tank. A stop not to be missed when visiting Matera.
