They sell their local pasta specialty with 6 different sauces. It was very delicious! The price-value ratio is also perfect. The food was ready quickly. After payment, there is a number on the block, they call it that. Absolutely tourist-friendly place! 🍝 I can only recommend it! A bowl of divine pasta costs between 7.5-8€.

Very tasty oriechette pasta. Reasonable prices considering the surrounding restaurants. Highly recommended. You can eat well for 8 euros :)

A pretty good restaurant, but a bit uncomfortable. I went there and had some pasta. It was absolutely too good. The atmosphere was a bit dirty; the other tables were still dirty and hadn't been cleaned yet. It was a bit uncomfortable because they made you sit under some kind of... (umbrella with a floor?) that often wobbled. If you want something quick but also good, I recommend it.

Awesome spot! 21.50 euro for two pasta and two beer - bargain! The pasta was very nice and came with a slice of traditional matera bread. The portions were really good, NOT small! We sat in the little courtyard and watched the world go by. It was dreamy. The staff were lovely and friendly. Highly recommend.

A good option for a quick lunch - centrally located, decent selection of pastas and a few other things and relatively quick and well priced. It’s a busy place so no guarantee of finding a table but plenty of seating available outside in the piazza. We noticed a number of customers were simply chatting and occupying tables despite having finished their meal - with full knowledge that a lot of people were waiting for the tables. Of course not the establishment’s faults but an observation.

01/04/2026: We were greeted very kindly by the owner, who recommended local dishes and answered our questions. The peperoni cruschi were perfectly crunchy, and the pasta was delicious. Excellent value. The restaurant is part of one of the "American houses" described by Carlo Levi and is adorned with horned masks and other references to local culture. Thank you for your hospitality! 🤗
16/11/2025: ...if you stop by, you can't go wrong....an original Lucanian place....excellent food, friendliness, and cleanliness!
