I arrive with friends for a drink, and when we ask for pineapple juice, instead of replying, "We offer local organic products, so we have other flavors," we're told, "We have Piedmontese products, and until proven otherwise, pineapples don't grow in Piedmont." This wasn't even accompanied by a laugh or a smile to soften the unsolicited joke about where pineapples grow. The waitress's communication problem persists when she asks for three small bottles of water, with a counter-proposal, "Okay, let's make a large one," bringing us a glass carafe. It's unprofessional to communicate with customers in such a colorful and off-putting manner.

14/08/2025: We opted for lunch at this restaurant, but we didn't look at the menus at the entrances—very bad, I'd say! There's little choice, in fact...very little! Menu branch until 11:30. The specials of the day were announced verbally, thinking they were a first and second course menu, even though the menu says "First and Second Course Menu," which could include water or coffee, but they don't. But there's no cover charge, and the bread they make costs €2. Vegetarian dishes, sandwiches, and traditional dishes, but with few options. Maybe they're trying to optimize the menu just so there's not too many options to choose from. In the end, we chose: A first course menu A second course menu A plate of gnocchi A fruit tart Water €37 Would I go back? No!

18/08/2025: A truly exceptional discovery! The almond paste cookies are amazing, especially the citrus-flavored ones: an explosion of flavor! The jellies are delicious, as is the granita, fresh and perfectly balanced. I also tried the gelato cake: simply irresistible! A great discovery that I will definitely repeat every time I vacation here again.

Then I discovered they also had a menu with eggs, etc. Next Saturday is marked! Special mention for the kindness and friendliness of the staff—I think I heard a customer call them "Ivan"—and also the girl behind the counter with a smile... a lovely atmosphere, and a correspondingly friendly clientele! 09/11/2025: We have been going there for many years and I have to say, unfortunately, that lately the quality of the food has gotten much worse.

01/11/2025: Dining here is like listening to a smart student being tested, but only trying when he wants to. The meat is delicious, tender, juicy, and flavorful. The salad is plain and lacks salt and pepper. The onion rings are crispy. The fries are soft. The fried chicken is juicy. The burger is dry and lacks sauce, with a flimsy bun. The atmosphere is well-organized, but the tables aren't very clean, and neither are the chairs. Postponed until September, I don't think we'll be back.

30/10/2025: Sorry to say that the pasta alla norma here was disappointing here compared to other preparations in Catania. The style of the dish was cool, but the larger pieces of eggplant weren't our preference and the sauce and cheese didn't stand out. The wait time is long but I don't fault them too much as it's one nonna cooking to my knowledge.

I found the attitude presumptuous, arrogant, and even threatening, completely unacceptable, especially considering the dog has serious neurological problems. A modicum of understanding and sensitivity would have been appropriate. It's shameful to behave this way without even investigating the true history of the situation. Arguments and shouting from the staff in front of all the other clients... SHAMEFUL! In situations like this, respect and empathy should be fundamental values, but here they are completely lacking. 15/10/2025: Excellent sushi! Super fresh fish, carefully prepared dishes, and friendly staff. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, perfect for a romantic dinner or a dinner with friends. I'll definitely be back!
