21/08/2025: A very disappointing experience We visited this restaurant after a day at the beach, and unfortunately it was a terrible choice. They figured out we were tourists and treated us superficially. The food was truly poor: orecchiette with watery sauce, dry and tasteless baked pasta, four tiny sausages, and a very thin and tough cutlet with soggy fries. The staff was friendly, but their attitude was clearly insincere. Furthermore, during service, they even argued among themselves in front of the customers, giving the impression of total disorganization. It's also unclear why the waiter took away the detailed receipt with an excuse. The bathrooms were truly dirty and neglected. In short: poor quality, excessive prices, terrible organization. We definitely won't be returning.

20/08/2025: I RECOMMEND NOT GOING The prices don't match what's written on the menu. Pasta should be €1.50 per 100g, but I paid €5 for a plate of pasta that I can guarantee was no more than 1.50g. The receipt detailing what I ate and what I paid for was taken away from the table. Not to mention the bathroom; perhaps the bathrooms at the San Nicola stadium in Bari are cleaner after 90 minutes. A terrible experience, I strongly advise against it.

20/06/2025: We only been in the bar, had orange juices and the delicious tea granita with lemon taste. It was very good. The service was great, the waiter spoke English and introduced the tea with granita to us. Thank you.

24/03/2025: I was here for lunch. The place was half empty, so in theory I shouldn't have waited. And instead... I arrived and the black guy at the reception was too busy with his computer to say good morning and welcome me. After a while he wakes up and welcomes me and asks me to wait a second. I start the stopwatch on my watch, 4 minutes pass, where I remain standing. I was about to leave when he asks me if I wanted to sit down (I wanted to tell him: no, I'm staying standing, I have to grow up). I sit down and, instead of giving me the menu so I can at least decide what to have and fill the time (the basics of welcoming in a restaurant) they make me wait another 5 minutes this time. Still with my watch on my wrist (I remember the place being half empty). After a while a waiter arrives who is decidedly more alert and asks him if he had asked me what I wanted to drink. From behind the counter, the usual computer-loving guy asks me out loud: still or sparkling? Just like we were at the stadium. Luckily, at least the meal was decent. The waiter who was older than the others was really good at his job. In the end, though, three waiters asked me if I wanted a dessert or a coffee. They lack a bit of organization because it is a question that should be asked once, not three times.

21/07/2025: The prices for the aperitif with additional dishes are a rip-off. A platter of cured meats costs a paltry €25.

28/08/2025: A beautiful, welcoming, and pleasant place. A mix between an elegant tea room and a literary café. An excellent meeting place for musicians, philosophers, scholars, and intelligent people seeking a stimulating conversation. In addition to good food and drinks, you can also purchase books of various genres and in various languages.

23/07/2025: It was my go-to place when I was thinking about eating sushi, but it changed for the worse. They made a mistake with one dish, bringing me a different one, and when they finally brought the right one, they didn't even apologize. We ordered two portions of sashimi and they got 7 pieces instead of 8. We reported it, and they said they'd bring more, but... It wasn't the first time they'd given discounts, and not just on that, but also on desserts. The taste of the raw fish has changed; it's no longer good; it seems to have gone bad, having come into contact with something strange. Even the taste of the hot dishes has changed for the worse: they taste like reheated stock cubes. They added rice to some sushi when there wasn't before. Some dishes seemed washed and recycled; they had no love or flavor. My friends and I had to use the bathroom quickly several times when we got home. Never again!

22/07/2025: Buono si in famiglia che con gli amici e anche da solo cibo ottimo e personale disponibile anche se qualche errore c'è posto bellissimo. Sono andato in carrozzina essendo che avevo il gesso su una gamba ed é super comodo, é al secondo piano ma ha un ascensore spazioso e spazio per le gambe

19/08/2025: I went there with my family tonight for the first time...first and last time...absolutely not recommended...terrible service...we chose the all-you-can-eat option...after two hours many of the items ordered still hadn't arrived...we asked for some items not to be brought anymore because it was very late by now...and there weren't even many people...they didn't even apologize and no discount on the price...table service by completely out of place young girls, without any courtesy or attention...unkempt outdoor setting with a series of objects piled up near our table for no reason (water crates, scales, I think dirty clothes, etc.)...some dishes were decent, many others of a low standard...never again!

17/07/2025: We ordered ice cream, very tasty and a lot. The waiter was kind. The floors were washed. You can order ice cream in a cup or in a cone. Everything is clean The expresso was served in a beautiful ceramic cup NOT FROM PAPER

24/08/2025: Excellent mixed seafood appetizer with exquisite tuna tartare. The fried foods are fragrant, dry, and just the right consistency. The house wine, a sparkling ortrugo, is delicious. Recommended.

24/08/2025: I was visiting with 2 hungry children at 400. Was told kitchen opens at 5, so we waited. Then it changed to 530, then 6PM, so we left.

24/08/2025: The food is average. However, the menu leaves much to be desired. At 11:40 a.m., we wanted to order two salmon and avocado squares and two smoothies, but we were told the kitchen opened at 12:00 and that only brunch was available until then. The summer brunch, which costs twice as much, is the exact same thing. How incredibly efficient is the kitchen? As if that weren't enough, the summer brunch arrived staggered. The fruit arrived before the square, and the smoothie arrived after we'd already finished, despite repeated requests. A terrible experience.

02/08/2025: We stopped for a coffee and a pastry. The welcome was fabulous, and the place was immaculately kept. Excellent attention to detail, and you can tell it's a family-run business that runs everything so smoothly. The attention to detail, the selection of products, and the super competitive prices made this a fantastic experience. Suitable for all tastes, with an excellent selection of cocktails, bottles of wine, and spirits. I'll definitely be back.

27/07/2025: This isn't just one of Modica's historic pizzerias, but one that has maintained and strengthened its quality, speed, and friendliness over the years. Here you'll find these three components, which in my opinion often prove to be its strength. You know that in this pizzeria, everything is quality; you'll be served with a smile, and their experience in the industry means they're very quick. Mine was a takeaway with two free cans of Coke... small but important gestures... you can't go wrong here... 🔝

07/08/2025: Our hotel recommended this restaurant for dinner, and unfortunately, our experience wasn't a positive one. The atmosphere is welcoming, but the quality of the food, while acceptable, doesn't justify the final price. We ordered four first courses and, while waiting, asked for an appetizer. Our experience began to wane when the waiter, barely having time to finish the first course, asked us what desserts we'd ordered. Even though I was still hungry, I decided to order a second course, but unfortunately, it was served alongside the desserts, an inelegant move. We left feeling tired and weighed down by the frenetic service. I can't help but recommend avoiding it, unless you decide to visit during a low-traffic period. The cashier, moreover, didn't even bother to ask how our experience had gone; if she had, I would have clearly expressed my disappointment. Regarding the bill, we were shocked, despite the discount—sheer madness, I say. Bottom line, there are plenty of better options nearby, and if someone asked me to come back, I wouldn't.
