05/12/2025: L’Incontro Cafè, Florence: A Morning Ritual for Travelers In the early morning in Florence, I stepped into L’Incontro Cafè. Located near the train station, this café is a daily stop for many locals before heading to work—travelers recommend its coffee for its "rich, unforgettable flavor, even better than in hotels." I ordered an espresso, and the first sip confirmed the veracity of this assessment. It wasn't as glamorous as a five-star hotel, but it had more personality, more in tune with the city's pulse. People at the counter quickly finished their espresso, took a bite of their sandwich, and turned to leave, as if completing a daily ritual. I, however, chose to sit inside, slowly watching them move through time—this contrast in pace made my journey feel exceptionally leisurely. Every morning, the variety of sandwiches at the counter changed. When I saw the chef focused intently on preparing a new one, his movements confident and natural, I suddenly felt curious and admiring. So, I ordered another one. Perhaps I disrupted his rhythm, or perhaps this was precisely the moment that made him feel a sense of accomplishment—to be noticed, liked, and understood. I don't know his feelings, but I know that from a traveler's perspective, I myself felt a strange and small happiness because of it. On the edge of this city's awakening, L’Incontro Café gave me a morning experience of my own: sipping good coffee, eating a freshly made sandwich, watching the crowds go by, and finding the true essence of travel in the contrast between their hustle and bustle and my leisure.

14/08/2025: LE TRE FARINE PIZZERIA: EXCELLENT ROMAN PIZZA, CRISP AND SUPER-STUFFED. I ORDER AT LEAST ONCE A WEEK AT LEAST THREE PIZZAS, AND THE SUPPLI ARE DELICIOUS. HOME DELIVERY IS ALWAYS FAST. THE OWNER IS YOUNG, BUT YOU CAN SEE A TRUE PASSION FOR PIZZA. WORTH A TRY.

05/07/2025: Un’esperienza assurda: ho raggiunto i miei familiari (5 persone) a pranzo in questo locale e, essendo i piatti proposti piuttosto elaborati e la mia alimentazione molto semplice e selettiva per ragioni mediche, ho chiesto di poter avere un piatto con il pollo della caesar salad (prevista nel menù), del riso bianco (previsto nel poke) e delle zucchine alla griglia. Dopo essersi recata in cucina la cameriera è tornata dicendomi che non era possibile avere il pollo e il riso😳😳…Ho dunque detto che non avrei potuto mangiare e lei se n’è andata, senza che nessuno venisse a verificare, a proporre una eventuale alternativa (una pasta per esempio??) a quel piatto così difficile che avevo chiesto!! Non mi è mai capitata una cosa del genere, neppure “nei peggiori bar di Caracas”!! Il pranzo è proseguito fino al dolce e al caffè senza che nessuno si sognasse di chiedere se volessi qualcosa… Il fatto che un cliente dichiari di non poter mangiare perché il locale non è in grado di servire del riso bianco con del pollo (alimenti peraltro previsti nel menu) e’ stato totalmente ignorato! Pessimo veramente. Andateci solo se vi piacciono poke pretenziosi ma scadenti (come quello ordinato da mia cognata…) oppure se volete saltare il pasto senza che a coloro che, in teoria, stanno li per darvi da mangiare importi alcunché! PS il voto è un regalo per poter rendere nota a tutti la vostra assoluta mancanza di attenzione al cliente.

16/06/2025: Conosco panta rei da anni location molto rilassante e fino a poco tempo fa il personale in sala era molto piacevole, sorridente e famigliare,purtroppo tornati in 2 mesi due volte ,non ci siamo trovati più bene ,le porzioni sono ridotte,il personale è cambiato e non sembra preparato ,peccato mi trovavo molto bene ,ora non è così....

28/10/2025: The staff clearly don’t like tourists. They’re very willing to take your money and then treat you with absolute disdain. We spent 100 euros on dinner for 2 and after finishing our meal we just wanted to enjoy our bottle of wine but were told well before closing time that they were closed. They were rude and obnoxious and made it abundantly clear they just wanted us to leave. Don’t waste your money going here - the staff are truly insincere and are absolutely jaded and over tourists. Beware!

09/11/2025: The building is attractive and inviting from the outside, but the situation is different inside. The rooms are dirty with cockroaches, and the walls are peeling and damaged. Mites are everywhere, causing us to have all-night allergy attacks. The breakfast was poor, with mostly packaged products, bedbugs crawling on the walls, and a dog coming in and out of the kitchen. I definitely won't be returning.

09/11/2025: Let me start by saying we had a wonderful meal! The food was excellent, high-quality, from the appetizers to the coffee. The atmosphere is refined, modern, and pleasant. The only downside is the service. I think (and hope!) it was an isolated incident, probably because the kitchen was understaffed... the fact is, we waited at least 20 minutes before ordering and over an hour before eating! We asked for a second bread basket to stave off hunger... it seemed like they were serving the tables in random order, not by arrival; the tables next to ours were served before us, but those people arrived at least 40 minutes after us! As for desserts (a long wait for those too!), there's no list; they're listed by the staff, but they gave different versions: according to our waitress, today there were only millefeuille, chocolate cake, and lemon sorbet left. The waitress at the next table also listed vanilla ice cream, green apple ice cream, and affogato with whatever you wanted... perhaps a list would be enough... and finally, the price was in line with other restaurants in the center of Grado. Hoping it was just an unlucky day, I highly recommend it for the excellent food.

18/10/2025: We've been coming to Grado for 20 years, including this restaurant! Unfortunately, things are going downhill pretty quickly. Yesterday, the food wasn't as good as usual! The second course was cold, but the manager doesn't care! For €120 for two people, I expect a bit more quality! Sorry! It's been much better!

27/08/2025: All good. The only thing I can say to the owners or management is, be careful about the cleanliness of the bathrooms. Maybe it was just that one day, but I backtracked. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Delicious desserts, helpful staff. Parking available.

19/08/2025: A historic restaurant in the Castelli Romani area, offering a good and varied menu of meat and fish dishes. Located in a charming setting, it also offers hotel services (which I didn't need). The service, generally very good, has suffered somewhat due to the summer crowds.

09/11/2025: This cute reataurant is tucked in a little courtyard with a cheerful lemon theme. The food is solid, the service friendly. We were there for lunch, most tables were populated by tourists.

03/11/2025: Starting with the positives, the place is beautiful and quaint. Now, getting to the point, I arrived at 10:20 PM. After being seated, they handed me the menu and I asked only for tagliolini with truffle. They told me they'd run out of truffle. So, I asked for salmon gnocchi. Nothing, they'd run out of salmon too. At this point, a little annoyed, I ordered a Margherita pizza, the simplest thing on the menu. Unfortunately, it was an unpleasant pizza. I understand that a kitchen might close rather early, but here I was taken for a ride. I won't add anything else.

26/10/2025: It's located in the center of Palermo, yet in a quiet corner, where you can escape the hustle and bustle of crowded tourist spots. The piazza is very elegant. You can enjoy a good breakfast, the service is quick, and the staff is friendly. A place that's also popular with locals.
