11/10/2025: Charming and very nice. Some dishes leave something to be desired, but overall it's worth it.
06/09/2025: A good refuge, €50 for a night's sleep, dinner, and breakfast on August 15th. Free water is available. Several trails depart for Matanna (very difficult) and Monte Croce. As for dinner, it seems the management will be changing soon.

20/11/2025: I went yesterday for a business lunch with colleagues. I ordered gluten-free pasta with white veal ragù: the best pasta I've ever eaten as a celiac, super 🔝
Highly recommended!
Fast service, also ideal for business lunches: quality, speed, and courtesy. Excellent food, welcoming atmosphere, and genuine attention to dietary needs.
I'll definitely be back!

14/12/2025: Positive experience at this restaurant... we went for the pizza and the pasta dishes. We tried the risottos, which were very good; the lemon and shrimp one was very fresh and light. I recommend it! The staff was very friendly. The atmosphere was pleasant and intimate.

08/12/2025: What sets this place apart are the first courses, served in individual pots and brought to the table wrapped in kitchen towels. We enjoyed a delicious and very hearty pasta alla genovese and excellent sautéed escarole. The quality/price ratio was good. Slow service, a nearly hour-long wait, and the noisy restaurant prevent us from giving it five stars.

Squid with ricotta and red cabbage is fabulous, truly delicious!
Sicilian desserts are mouth-watering.
09/11/2025: Eating home-cooked Sicilian cuisine isn't easy. With ingredients flown directly from Sicily, even less so. Without the ambition of a Michelin-starred restaurant, the food is amazing, with flavors that reflect the season and the availability of the ingredients. A restaurant where you eat with heart, just like the people who work there. If you want an olfactory and sensory experience, this is the place to be.

16/11/2025: Went for lunch today. Everything was delicious and the price was above average for what we ate. 7 appetizers, 2 first courses, 1 second course with side, dessert, water, wine, and coffee, all for €40. One of those places where you want to come back because it's worth it 👍🏼

Lots of dishes, all very good, with the zabaglione to finish being the bomb!
18/11/2025: This new management is definitely better than the previous one, starting with the pizza, which is generously sized but has a fine, easily digestible, and well-leavened dough. The flavor and quality of the ingredients are excellent. The waiters are kind and helpful. Being located under the Vicoforte dome, the prices are a little high but still fair, given the quality of the food. Service is quick when the place is full. They even changed my coffee on their own without me even telling them, which is definitely another plus. Highly recommended.
Edit: I totally agree, but unfortunately the location doesn't allow them to keep prices this low, and I obviously appreciate their effort to keep them competitive.

11/09/2025: First time I tasted the cuisine of ''La Capannina'' ordered home delivery and it was truly a joy for the eyes and the palate, pupils and taste buds fully satisfied, I ordered a large platter, it was really very abundant, a spectacle of colors and flavors, from the fried pizza to the cacio e ova balls, stracciata and spectacular bruschetta, everything truly exquisite, highly recommended
