05/11/2025: I'll start by saying that this review refers to a lunch during the Lucca Comics and Games, so there are all the mitigating factors involved. We ate pizza at an inside table. The place is nice and clean, and the pizza was good. That's why I'm giving it three stars, whereas the service would be zero. I won't dwell on the inattention and the timing (both of which were present) because I understand the nature of the day. However, if there's no silverware on the table and pizzas are brought that are already cut, but not very well, it's intolerable that when we asked for silverware for everyone, the waitress, in a huff, only brought a pair that we had to share, and handed them to us as if asking had been a bother. I'll start by saying that the silverware was taken from a full basket, so it's not due to a lack of clean dishes, but rather, in my opinion, a lack of desire to deliver things that will later have to be cleaned.

03/11/2025: More than a review, I'd describe it as a survival guide, and I'll start by saying that if you want to have a nice evening after a long, tiring day, it's best to go elsewhere before losing patience and other worries. It started badly because we were a small group of six when we arrived. Despite having made a reservation, we were told we still had to queue and wait to be seated, so what's the point of booking exactly? Perhaps they're trying to squeeze in more people than they can handle just to make a profit. After all, once someone has booked, where else can they go? They're forced to stay with you. The place was huge inside, so there was absolutely no need to make a few extra bucks at the expense of some unfortunate person. You could have paid the checkout anyway. We arrived an hour later than booked. The seats outside didn't even have heating (with the amount our group spent, I assure you, you can afford an electric patio heater), and some didn't even have light. We read the menu with our phone's flashlight. When we ordered, we were told that pizzas would take 40 minutes or more, so it would be better to order something from the kitchen. Well, guess what? The table next to us, who arrived several minutes later, also ordered pizzas, and they arrived before our dishes. At least I had ordered fries (frozen, as per the menu), which arrived after 30 minutes. A friend, again for appetizers, had chicken nuggets, which arrived 15 minutes after the fries (served without sauce, by the way). I'd be embarrassed to serve them; McDonald's Nuggets are better for the price. Another funny thing was that the waiters (obviously not their fault, poor things; in fact, they were kind and helpful) kept asking us as we passed by if we had ordered that dish, because obviously they're always adding tables outside the valley to figure out the numbers, poor things. An hour later than ordered, my pasta arrived, but it was still there, and it was the only pasta available. It didn't need all this attention, at least the sauce was good. After about 10 minutes, my friends' dishes began to arrive (obviously, they didn't arrive together, there's no such luxury here). By the time the last friend's dish arrived, the others had already finished. In short, as you can see from this review, there's a lot of care and attention given to the customer. So, decide carefully where to spend your money. I'm giving one star for the beautiful view of the church. A plus for the staff, who clearly have a good understanding of where they work. 04/07/2025: Con uno stile personale sì mangiano piatti tra la tradizione e la buona cucina ben preparati con ingredienti di qualità in un piacevole giardino. Per turisti e locali che vogliono mangiare bene ma non turistico per la massa. Prezzi perfettamente in linea con la qualità e il piacere che offrono. Carta dei vini molto ricercata ma assolutamente non costosa

30/06/2025: Siamo tornati pochi giorni fa in questo ristorante, scoperto un po’ per caso la scorsa estate passeggiando per Grottaglie e, da allora, punto di riferimento gastronomico della zona. Tuttavia, l’ultima cena è stata talmente superlativa da superare i nostri ricordi e da indurmi a scrivere questa recensione : antipasto con tagliatelle di seppia crude, maltagliati al nero di seppia con stracciatella e gamberi rossi per la mia ragazza e spaghetti alla chitarra con ricci di mare e cozza fritte per me (il miglior piatto coi ricci di mare mai mangiato in vita mia); per secondo, lumachine di terra. Il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo rosato, dalla cortesia dei camerieri e dall’atmosfera magica del locale. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

11/10/2025: Very nice and welcoming place, I had ordered a mixed fried fish, there was almost nothing mixed and it was not fresh but frozen fish, it was rubbery.

31/08/2025: We were there for a hen party, nice atmosphere, very nice and well-kept place, good food, young and friendly staff, beautiful music that accompanies and cheers up the evening.

22/09/2025: We had an excellent stay at this hotel, where we received a very warm welcome. The room was small (at the lowest rate), but quiet, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast was varied and good. A special mention goes to the extremely helpful reception staff.

15/09/2025: It's not luxurious, but it's very good. Everything is fine: the reception, the room (good-quality mattress), and the shower are clean and functional; nothing is missing. The breakfast is very good; it has everything you need. The hotel is very well located and also has free private parking. There's nothing to complain about for the price.

02/11/2025: We ate very well. Prices were a little above average. The maccaronara was definitely worth trying. One of the best I've ever eaten. I'd go back.

13/08/2025: Always a pleasure! Fair prices, and the line (always a bit long) is definitely worth it! Booking is tricky; sometimes it's better to just go get a number and wait in line. At worst, you can have an aperitif at the bar just down the hill.

18/08/2025: Sunday afternoon at 5pm we couldn't find any restaurants open and then saw this pizza place. The chef was very friendly and helpful, explained that local kids had torn the menu in half. Anyway 2 great Pizzas and 2 ice teas was €13. He told us we could sit at the tables in the bar opposite and take the box of napkins with us. Great stuff.

11/08/2025: A pleasant surprise found thanks to Google, where my dad and I stopped for a sandwich and beer! Besides the classic "mountain" sandwiches (about €8), they also have more sophisticated options (I had the multigrain one with salmon, ricotta, sun-dried tomatoes, and salsa verde—delicious). The coffee was piping hot, just the way I like it. The girl and owners were incredibly kind. I'll be back with my colleagues!
